Dec 13, 2010i didnt use plurk , peggle and roller coaster application , i want to remove it because it waste my memory space (ram and rom) . Plurk will never die !! when i use task killer to kill it , it appear to alive when screen off .......feint~~ Useless game like peggle and roller coaster , i never used it and it just the trial version.........i want to remove these unused application . But how?? i use advanced task killer to remove but it show me that the application aren't able to remove.

Im using app manager to uninstall it and also use function "remove" in the application but always "removing failed". Mar 27, 2010I have a big problem.... I can't install or uninstall anything on my 5800 . I have custom firmware 40.0.005. When I try to install or uninstall something it's says: Unable to start operation. Installer already in use.....Also A few days ago I had a problem with OVI store and I installed it but the shortcut is steel in the Application menu. ( if try to enter in ovi store it says that I have to update the application and if I try, I get an error). Is this a virus or a software problem? What should I do?

Jun 24, 2010Would someone be able to advise me on how to remove Maps v3.04?I already had v3.03 and thought I would try the latest version. There are some features that I am not happy with (not realising it was a beta version!!)
I then tried to downgrade to v3.03. It goes through the installation and then my phone reports Unknown error -5.I tested again - it believes I have v3.03(246) already, and again error -5.I check in maps and the version is v3.04I have obviously confused matters.
Do you know how to safely remove all versions so that I can start again with v3.03? I have read a few topics where people have been able to uninstall - but then still can't get v3.03 to install. I dont want to be in that situation

Feb 16, 2010I just received my new Nokia 5800 from T-Mobile. The firmware is ok for me to install the free maps software 3.03
However, before I try to install the new software, I read on here that it is a good idea to uninstall old versions of nokia maps/ovi maps.The phone has Ovi maps 3.01 installed but when I go to the Application manager, ovi maps is not listed?Does anyone know how I can uninstall the old version?

Jan 18, 2010is it possible to remove preinstalled languages i have in my nokia 5800 v4.0 phone because currently i have the following language packs:
- English
- Bahasa Indonesia
- Bahasa Malaysia
- (some sort of chinese/japanese language)
i only need the english language pack, and yes i bought my phone from hong kong, which is why i have these packs, but i feel as though they are wasting valuable phone memory, and i would rather have an arabic language pack insatalled too. could someone advice me on how to get rid of these packs, and install the arabic pack, so ill have english and arabic language on my phone?

- restore phone memory from /e to /c
Except for reorganizing my menus and reinstalling fring and opera mini everything was ok. But YBrowser was also missing and reinstalled that one but it pompted with "Certificate epired". Setting back the date resulted in "Cetrificate not yoe valid" How can I get around these terrible certificate check?

I would like to identify it as it making same unwanted connection which are cost for my. For now I have walk around and enforce my phone to ask for password before each connection but it make using Nokia 5800 a little bit annoying. Apr 6, 2010I've recently updated firmware to V40 and initially I didn't have this problem, but now for some reason, the application software updater (under application menu) won't work. When I select it, it tries to load, but immediately closes. I can't for the life of me understand why this wouldn't work or why it would suddenly stop working. Is there a way to download the sw updater from OVI store or something?? I've even tried a hardware reset (green, red and camera button while turning the phone on), but that hasn't helped.
At the same time, I've also noticed that I can't edit any pictures. The same thing happens I click on the edit button, the picture loads, but as soon as I try add an effect, it closes the application.

Where's al these river's been gone? Yesterday, I went to the center of Bangkok to exchange some money, when I came back by doing boat, the river on my location is gone.
