"Nokia application explorer" is inadequate, will not let me remove apps thru PC suite. Also tried looking around OVI, no mention of an app manager in there, I don't want to go poking around deleting files in the phone, is there no other way doing this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just bought a new pc, so I've installed Windows 7 x64. Everything ok, but when I tried to install Nokia PCSuite (last version), It start my problems: the installation was ok, but when the software tried to install Nokia 78 Usb drivers, I got errors about some part of the driver can't be installed (like N78 Usb generic, N78 OBX, etc...).
I tried also to remover and clean with the Nokia PcSuite remover, and install Ovi (even last version), but the problems was the same.
With Bluetotth works, but it give me also some connection problems.
N78 have the last firmware, and it works fine with Vista (or XP).
I decided to go with PC Suite for Sync. I think it's a great program (I have never owned a Nokia.) PC Suite does say it is not fully compatible yet with N900. For sync though I have had no trouble. I noticed the backup feature didn't work - it thinks my phone is not connected. But the N900 does have a"Backup feature" on it. So I am guessing I can just backup the N900 using the N900 and then plug it into the computer and read it as a mass storage device - and copy the backup information onto the computer. That should work for backup/restore until they give an update to the program. Is that what others are doing here?
As for music... I don't know what t do. There is Media Sync for Blackberry which will transfer iTunes (not purchased iTunes unless you unlocked yours (which I did) it will transfer your iTunes play lists onto your Blackberry.
Is there something that will get music in the iTunes format onto the N900 - or will I have to convert my music files?

During IE usage the battery drains extremely fast.
After 15 minutes it is very hot - I'm worried that a longer usage may do some harm to the phone due to the very hot temperature...
The back of the phone and the screen is getting very hot - I do not have the drain problem while not using the phone - it is cold while idle!
But I did notice, that other applications do also heat up the phone, but not as much as IE...

How to remove installed apps from nokia? I cannot uninstall apps from phone because when I select Application mgr. > Installed apps. I have black screen and error message 'Memory full'. Nokia X6.

The restoral was successful and I have the theme back. The problem is that several other themes that I no longer want were also put back on my N8. I go to Settings>Application manager>Installed apps, however none of the restored themes are listed (they are all taking up Device Memory). how I can delete these items from my phone and thus free up the memory they are occupying?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI've had this problem for a day or so now. I connect my lumia 920 to my PC (Windows 7 ultimate x64) the phone makes a connection sound and it shows up under My Computer. However when I go to browse the files on the 920 it is just empty. Also when I try and use the WindowsPhone app it boots up on the welcome screen as if it's the first time I'm connecting it and does nothing when I press the continue button...

I got my Nokia Lumia 800 about 8 weeks ago and everything was working fine until I did an update on my phone when it told me updates were available. I plugged it in and continued with the update. Ever since I have been unable to access any Internet pages on my phone.It still works because it shows how many e-mails I have on my e-mail tab, but no pages will open whatsoever. I try opening Internet Explorer and it makes the swipe action as if it's about to open, but then it doesn't. Same for the e-mails, won't open them, and it won't open the App market, et cetera.I tried resetting my phone and still nothing, is there anything I can do?
