I have a blackberry curve and I am trying to download ota files for themes. the instructions that are provided either dont work or I am that retarded. Can anyone help me to successfully down load the file and use it as a theme to by BB curve 8520

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have a Pearl, doesn't connect to PC, no internet. My brother is letting me use his Curve to transfer a theme to my Pearl. Now basically, i need to know how and where to transfer the Pearl theme to (while the curve is plugged in, and the pearl's micro sd is in it) then remove the SD card and put the SD card it in the pearl, then locate the theme.
When i open the folders for the micro SD card on the computer,(while in the curve) i see no folder for apps or themes. I transfer the alx and cod file into every folder there but i can't find it when i put the micro sd back in my pearl
The next thing ive tried was installing it as an app thru BB manager, it said it transferred ok, but i cant find it on the micro sd card (do they go right to the curves own memory maybe??)
Hey does anyone know how or where we can get the original themes for the nokia 5530? I mean lets say I have a blue handset which has blue themes but I want the red/black themes, where do I get that from? I would like to have all the original themes on my phone: red, yellow, blue and the grey one. My phone which is a red/black model only seems to have the grey one on it.

I just wanna ask why when I'm trying to download themes from m.tehkseven.net using the phone's browser when I tap on the theme I want, it didn't start downloading instead they bring me to a white blank page with lots of weird looking letters (I have no idea what it is) but when I used my N97 to download it's fine no blank page or anything.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm unable to download themes to my Samsung S6. When I select one to download a pop up appears on screen for a fraction of a second (it's such a small period of time, that I can't read the text displayed on it). The pop up then disappears and the theme is not downloaded.
I'd disabled some applications on my phone as they were hogging memory, and I think that might be something to do with it; so I've re-enabled all of the Samsung apps but I'm still not having any luck.

I ask because owning a previous curve(8320) as you know came preloaded with at least 4-5 themes. Now i'm rockin' a t-mobile 8520 with 1 preloaded theme. It has taken hours to upload files to Iphoto and has now deleted all thumbnails of my images on iphoto replacing them with the same image , over 2000 photos with the same image unless you click on the thumbnail to open the JPEG. Problem is this: whenever I download a file on my BB, whether I'm in the browser or in App World, the download goes like this: download a few KB, stop, clock symbol appears, download resumes for another few KB, stop again, clock symbol, etc.Downloading a typical 1 MB file can take a long time because of all these pauses. Some files just say "track #" on the phone rather then the name of the song. On my computer I have them shown as song title, but obviously the phone picked up something different. I have a blackberry curve 8520 and I try to download files (in special music) but sims I can't ,it say that I don't have free space and files are to large. I check and I have a lot o free memory. With SD card are not any problems. Same problem with PC transfer. I read some similary topics but I don't find a folution to put something in this phone without SD card. It's really unlikely bug/problem .
