I'm using google as my search engine in the default browser for the N86. For some reason, results given by google are now often inaccessible i.e. when i click the results nothing happens.But sometimes all the results can be accessed, other times only a few - which is pretty random and weird. I've got no idea what's going on.
i have a nokia 5130-c2 xm for about a year and a half but i only used it for about 11 months but the other months it went for repairs 3 times. 1st time it displayed a massage "contact service"(needed a firmware upgrade from version 6.6). 2nd & 3rd time it never wanted to boot like when windows on your pc never loaded. Now the 4th time is near, not even a month has passed since i went to collect my repaired phone. Would you say the device its self is faulty or just the firmware. I never went to sites that could send me viruses or use any other themes(custom) just wanna know if i should request a new phone since i still have 6 months of warranty left.

Basically the music player short cut icon on the desktop(?) AND the 'last played' icon in the player do not work. What this leads to is if I start playing a song and move away from that playing page I cannot get back and switch off the music!
I have tried re-installing the firmware but to no avail.
I'm a new user to nokia E72, though i have been using nokia phones for about 5 years now. when i receive a text message while my e72 was switched off, it doesn't show the exact time the sender sent the message. instead it shows the time the text message receieved to my phone when i switch on my device. as an example i swtiched off my phone at 10pm night and my friend sent me a message at 11 pm.. and then i switch on the phone again at 12 midnight and i recieve his message at 12.01am and in it time stamp it shows the message receieved at 12.01am instead the correct time when my friend sent me the message at 11pm i have checked this with other nokia phones example 6630 and so on. in them it shows the exact time the sender sent the message what's wrong in my nokia E72? how can i correct it?

There was only the green indicator blinking on the front of the phone and it seemed to be frozen. I waited around 10 minutes and tried pressing the power button again, holding it down and pressing it repeatedly. Nothing. I did a battery pull on the phone and when I booted it back up it seemed to work.

there has been an issue that has happened recently which has caused my motoactv to not be recognised as a USB device anymore. All the music i had on it has vanished (empty lists in the Music section), and when plugged into the PC, the drive does show up, but I cannot access it. (i see both a CD/Drive partition and the presumably user partition)
the motoactv usb application does not detect it and keeps requesting that i put a supported connected device in.
it also appears in the disk management utility of Windows but it is completely blank (showing as 0 bytes) and there is no way for me to repartition it or clean it out using it or diskpart.
i tried doing a factory reset from the menus on the device but that didnt work (everything else seems to work as i think only the user partition/nand drive has been broken.)
i cant listen to any music on my runs anymore! is there something special about the partition that i cannot delete/reset/format it?! is there a tool to set it back to what it was before!?
How do I delete an icloud account from the phone so the user can no longer access the account from phone or any other device.

I push myself hard during workouts. I'm not saying this to impress anybody, trust me - I'm no pro. But I write this in the hopes that someone from Motorola actually reads this and thinks, "this guy represents our target audience. Maybe we should hear him out..." After all, there are plenty of people who train like me. If you're one of them, or if you're a MOTOACTV user who just sees the value in being able to see your data when paused, please add your vote.
The fact that the screen freezes when a workout is paused is the single reason I reach for my Garmin when I'm going out for a serious run. The ability to hit pause, assess how the workout is going, and make adjustments midway is critical. When I stop to take a drink of water, the first thing I do is hit the pause button. The second thing I do is see how I'm doing. Am I going too fast, too slow? Is my heartrate where it should be? What can I do to get back on track? My Garmin gives me all the information necessary to answer these questions. The MOTOACTV gives me nothing other than a song to listen to when I'm fuming over the ridiculousness of this "feature", or rather, the lackthereof.
There is a reason even professional athletes gather around their coach during every time-out, between quarters and during half-time. It's to assess the situation and make adjustments before it's too late. Imagine if, during every time-out or other break in the action, someone comes and tapes the coach's mouth shut and ties his hands behind his back. "How am I doing, coach?" Shrug. "Any advice for me coach?" Shrug. The game resumes, and the coach is allowed to speak again. Yup, there's your MOTOACTV. It's your coach, and he's no where to be found when you need him most.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just noticed today that the trackpad on my phone has become super sensitive, but not for scrolling, only when pressing down to open apps. It's weird. It seems like it's sunken down and not level with the other buttons anymore and actually tilts down towards the keyboard. I've only had this phone for about a month and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if it is truly a faulty trackpad. If so then its back to AT&T for a replacement!
View 4 Replies View RelatedIn short - i purchased a 2nd user bold 9780 off eBay back in April / May timeThe phone was like new and worked fine until recently the thing began turning itself off.There is no pattern to it - its very irregular which makes it even more annoying.Essentially i will be writing a SMS or BBM and it will turn off. I then have to take the battery out and reboot the phone. This can happen once a day, or every couple of minutes. Now .... i believe the phone is still in warranty so i went to the vendor who originally sold the phone to the person i bought it off (Virgin Media) I know this as it's their branding all over the phone / box.
Firstly Virgin where reluctant to help me as i wasn't the person who originally purchased the phone. This i didn't buy as, at the end of the the phone is still in warranty. After the half witt behind made to enquires and checked the serial number of the phone against there records - it showed that the previous owners owes Virgin Media money on a outstanding bill .
I bought new lcd..because my old one cracked. The process of change run smooth.. But when i turn on phone my capacitive buttons doesn't react. The lighs turn on when phone Boots and shutdown.
So my questions are:
-can be lcd defective?
-only thing that communicate is lcd flat cable connect to mainboard?
-buttons zone are controlled by digitizer right? Or are related with power board where buttons are?
Recently I found a little white dot occur on my display which is consistent all the time, I've checked it isn't any dirt etc. I think it may be a faulty pixel or LED, but I'm not sure what to do about it. Bit annoyed as it occurred only days after I got my iPhone replaced?

I have a 9700 and over the last 2 days when I try to make a call the phone switches between headphones and headset and if I try to select options and activate headset the phone completely ignores the request and keeps switching between functions , the only way I can make a call is to put ipod headphones into the jack port and then I can select activate handset and the phone will let me make a call normally , however if I pull the headphones out during a call it will start to switch between functions again .

My battery lasts 1 day if I am lucky and my USB cable does not always get recognized.I have been in contact with Rogers, had my phone in for repair, and reloaded my operating system with no luck. Tired to contact RIM support but got nowhere and Rogers is giving me the run around.All I need is a new battery and honestly I can't afford one nor do I feel I need to purchase one since the battery has been **bleep** since the beginning pretty much.

I have tried different chargers and the same problem, , you have to wiggle the lead to make connection. Vodafone told me that this would be a wear and tear issue and therefore not covered under warranty. RUBBISH I say! If it has worn out then the phone is not "fit for purpose" I have spoken to Nokia who have advised me that they are seeing a problem with the charging port on a small number of the E7's. Nokia need to make Vodafone aware of this issue and Vodafone need to start listening to they loyal customer of over 20 years!

This means I cannot hear the ring tone, handsfree calls or any music.Also, the headphones which come with the phone stopped working about 2 months ago.PLUS. the charger doesn't always work (it will display the charging icon on the screen, but when I unplug it in the morning it hasn't charged at all. v annoying!). When it DOES say it's charging if you even slightly touch the jack part which is connected to the phone, it thinks it has been disconnected and stops charging (this also happened to my old K6..something, which had the exact same power/headphone socket - so i know this isn't a one-off fault. again, V annoying!). I have just had my first iphone exchanged today at the apple store for a new one - faulty microphone. They started it all up for me, and I came home and synced all my apps etc. But i found that they weren't downloading and I couldn't access safari and therefore couldn't open up gmail etc. So I decided to restore my iphone to original settings. That has helped with being able to download all my apps but I still can't access safari. I'm not sure what to do now. And feel that I will have to return to town and get it sorted out.

wandered if someone could diagnose what's up with my BB, curve 8520 and maybe also gimmie a solution to my problems! ... Here's pretty much all of it ... I think, I know a lot of you can relate because this seems to be a very popular problem...Bout a week ago my bb randomly started messin me about, first the 'L' key along with the 'alt' key and then also the 'A' key, they were stuttering, typing on there own, sometimes wouldn't work at all, they would even pop up when I typed a different key! also there would be times were my phone would freeze and I'd have to hold down a button for roughly 10 seconds to get a response, also all buttons including mute, side buttons, keypad etc.. would stop working all together, only track bar would work but I could only scroll, I also cannot use my phone whilst chargers in, on rare occasions my phone fixes itself, then brakes around 5-10 mins later
