My images are viewable on camera in Album Folder. They are stored SD memory card, but simply inaccessible for viewing or for transfering on PC via USB, using Media Go or PC companion.

I put photos into hidden mode and now I cant access them. To be honest I didn't know what I was doing i just didnt want my son who plays games on my phone looking at them.

Haven't updated it before because I've never seen a reason to but when the pictures I took with the phone wouldn't work-meaning they couldn't be displayed in the gallery, this triangular shape with a broken landscape image would appear instead- I updated the phone twice, the second time erased all data. To my dissappiontment I still cannot view my pictures, and I cannot download files that have been sent to me via the app Whatsapp.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've just updated to 2.1 and installed PC Companion and Media Go, hoping this would relieve my pain with trying to transfer music to my phone (has an 8gb sd card)... all I've ended up with is more problems as the phone dismounts from the usb connection while trying to transfer music. Strange part is it disappears from Media Go, but is still listed as connected on PC Companion and the phone says it's still connected!?!

Taking new pictures with camera showed up in gallery.
Using ES file explorer: checking my DCIM directory still has over 500 photo's/video's in there. Music is also still on phone.
I tried reboot.
I tried emptying information and cache from gallery and mediastorage.
I also installed meda re.scan.
Nothing worked.
I am on stock Android 5.0.2 with Sense 6
I have hidden images on my media card and tried everything to retrieve these, I have gone into media menu like the other forums show and looked for explore (this is not on my menu list) how else can I retrieve / unhide these?

View 1 Replies View RelatedTwo times over the weekend my Bionic has gotten to a point where the phone's power buttons nor any of the other buttons would respond. There was only the green indicator blinking on the front of the phone and it seemed to be frozen. I waited around 10 minutes and tried pressing the power button again, holding it down and pressing it repeatedly. Nothing. I did a battery pull on the phone and when I booted it back up it seemed to work.

there has been an issue that has happened recently which has caused my motoactv to not be recognised as a USB device anymore. All the music i had on it has vanished (empty lists in the Music section), and when plugged into the PC, the drive does show up, but I cannot access it. (i see both a CD/Drive partition and the presumably user partition)
the motoactv usb application does not detect it and keeps requesting that i put a supported connected device in.
it also appears in the disk management utility of Windows but it is completely blank (showing as 0 bytes) and there is no way for me to repartition it or clean it out using it or diskpart.
i tried doing a factory reset from the menus on the device but that didnt work (everything else seems to work as i think only the user partition/nand drive has been broken.)
i cant listen to any music on my runs anymore! is there something special about the partition that i cannot delete/reset/format it?! is there a tool to set it back to what it was before!?
I would like to download images to my phone e.g. from my Facebook albums.
1. Is this possible from the built-in browser ? I can do it from Opera Mini, but haven't found a straightforward method for the Nokia browser.
2. The images I did download are very small (certainly smaller than the were when uploaded). Is it possible to download the full-sized image ? If not, is this a phone/browser or Facebook limitation ?

I'm not saying this to impress anybody, trust me - I'm no pro. But I write this in the hopes that someone from Motorola actually reads this and thinks, "this guy represents our target audience. Maybe we should hear him out..." After all, there are plenty of people who train like me. If you're one of them, or if you're a MOTOACTV user who just sees the value in being able to see your data when paused, please add your vote.
The fact that the screen freezes when a workout is paused is the single reason I reach for my Garmin when I'm going out for a serious run. The ability to hit pause, assess how the workout is going, and make adjustments midway is critical. When I stop to take a drink of water, the first thing I do is hit the pause button. The second thing I do is see how I'm doing. Am I going too fast, too slow? Is my heartrate where it should be? What can I do to get back on track? My Garmin gives me all the information necessary to answer these questions. The MOTOACTV gives me nothing other than a song to listen to when I'm fuming over the ridiculousness of this "feature", or rather, the lackthereof.

It's to assess the situation and make adjustments before it's too late. Imagine if, during every time-out or other break in the action, someone comes and tapes the coach's mouth shut and ties his hands behind his back. "How am I doing, coach?" Shrug. "Any advice for me coach?" Shrug. The game resumes, and the coach is allowed to speak again. Yup, there's your MOTOACTV. It's your coach, and he's no where to be found when you need him most.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter I upgraded to ICS on my Neo V, I noticed that my SD card was getting full without my doing anything. So I checked out in the file manager app what was taking up all the space and I found that in the DCIM there was a folder by the name of .thumbnails which I thought stores, well, the thumbmnails of course. It initially had 2 copies of every image on my phone and was taking up about 35 MB, so I deleted all the files. No issues there after. But the folder just keeps filling up with as many as 5 copies of every thumbnail, so I have to clear it when I start running out of space. The last time I deleted them, they were taking up about 60 MB of storage. This did not used to happen before I upgraded to ICS.

I've bought a Z5C on release date from the Sony store. I noticed a blur on the left side of the images ( imgur link ) so I went back to the Sony store. The staff said that it might blur out on the sides BUT that it should never be one sided. So I got a new device and this one suffered the same problem but less prominent ( photos from the 2nd Z5C ).
