I am new here having jsut come from a BB Curve 8900 I love the speed of the new 9700 its a million times better. Anyway, I have a 2gb card installed but under the settings and memory section it says no card found. is there a way of getting it to reconise the card as my phone says its only got 90MB of internal memorey left which wont do me as I use it as a mp3 player as well.
I've seen various versions of this question but haven't found an answer yet. I just bought a second hand 8900 to replace my damaged one. The problem is the device doesn't seem to be able to recognize my media card. In the options > memory it says "a media card is not presently inserted in the device". The card works fine in the old device and in a completely different type of phone from a friend. Their card is also not recognized by my device, so I've ruled out the card as the problem. I've tried all the usual fixes - battery pull, software update, etc but with no success. Is this phone just defective or am I missing something?
My phone frequently loses the location of media files on my phone. They are there and turning off the phone and restarting it normally fixes the problem. However it is becoming very frequent now and I need a fix.
My phone is giving me a 'media not found' message on some of my photos and videos. I have tried unmounting and re-mounting my sd card but still not working....
I had to take my battery out of my phone, which I've been having problems with my battery staying charged, but that's another problem.I now have this message on my phone saying: "A media card has been inserted that contains errors. Do you wish to repair the Media Card now?" I press "YES" to repair, then it says "If lost clusters are found do you want to save them?" I press "YES", then it says, "Media Card repair failed.
My images are viewable on camera in Album Folder. They are stored SD memory card, but simply inaccessible for viewing or for transfering on PC via USB, using Media Go or PC companion.
I"m trying to get video converted correctly on my Black Berry flip phone, but I can't seem to figure out how to convert the video with the Roxio Media manager so that the video is saved sideways.. So when I play it in my Black Berry Flip it fills up the whole screen.
I have hidden images on my media card and tried everything to retrieve these, I have gone into media menu like the other forums show and looked for explore (this is not on my menu list) how else can I retrieve / unhide these?
Media Sync Version: 3.0.0.39 PC OS: Windows 7 WIndows Media Player (WMP) Version: 12.7600.16415 BB: 9000, v4.6.0.304 (Platform 4.0.0.247) I have Media Sync loaded fine. It reads my Windows Media Library just fine. When it loads the playlists/music for selection to sync, most show up as "Supported" in the Status column. However there are many that show up as "Not Found". Is there a file size limit or file name/path size limit that could be causing this? These are not DRM files. It happens to music that I have burnt from CDs and a given CD, for example, might have 13 songs on it and have only 4 of them show up as "Not Found". I'm not seeing anything like this in the forums.
I know this feature was available, but kind of hidden, on previous Galaxies and my HTC as well. I can't seem to locate how to do this on the Galaxy S6?
I bought a Nokia C6 recently and I'm facing some problem with video clips I took. The image suddenly freeze and the audio keeps running. I have updated the firmware to the latest and also reset my phone by unplugging battery, but Its still the same. And the worst of it, it becoming more frequent day by day. Now its not just freeze in the middle of the video clip, after I click stop recording it keep on shooting 5 to 10 sec with just blank image.
i have been using nokia music store for last 2 years. There was no problem with the content earlier but recently i noticed many songs/ albums / artists are missing from the store. I , therefore , request people concerned to pay attention to this serious problem before you loose a loyal costumer.
I found myself doing so much stuffs on my  9700 last nite, things that got me confusing at some point which made me sleep off. I woke up 2day to play music (as usual) and suddenly discovered that my default music icon isn't displayed, with just video, picture, video cam and etc just showing. I did a search on my home screen and discovered it, but it just wasn't showing normal, it showed faintly kind of although it still played my music from there. But still going through 'the media' again, its not showing...ts more like I have to always play my music through searching on my homescreen.
OK, so we all know Ovi player is, uummm, a bit flaky?I've given up trying to use it and am now using Windows Media Player to transfer music to my X6. This works absolutely fine other than getting the album art onto the phone.
Nearly all licenses are not found in laptop and in cellphone. I can not play the nokia downloaded songs...nearly 3000 songs from last January. What to do?
I copied sound to my iPhone 5s where is it? its not in "music". I dragged it from my laptop desk top onto iPhone in iTunes. I don't see it on the phone.
What I finding is happening is that images (captured with the camera in the DCIM folder) and MP3s are being removed and placed into the LOST.DIR folder of the SD Card (internal memory isn't a problem). For example, the most recent occurrence was where by I copied on 4GB of music onto the phone and then a short time later after disconnecting the USB cable, I found that quite a number (2.7GB) of the files disappeared into the LOST.DIR folder.
I verified that the files were the orignal MP3's by changing the extension of the files to .mp3 and was able to play the file. Other times I've taken a photo with the camera and saved the JPG on the SD card, a few days later the file disappeared. The problem has occurred on Android version 2.3.5 and even now after updating to 2.3.6. I don't have any 3rd party music or photo apps. The SD Card is a 32GB Kingston class 10 card which I formatted in the phone before copying any data to it.
Ok there's a few things I noticed with my Xperia Z5P Â 1. Â Media Go won't authorize so I can put my movies on the phone. (I had trouble with just logging in) 2. Â I installed PlayStation Video(was missing), and the Videos app doesn't display my PS movies 3. Â Live Streaming is missing, yet I have the app installed, but trying to update it says "You device is not compatible with this version"
OI purchased my storm 9500 version 4.7.0.167 about a year ago. Platform 4.0.0.205. The videos played back really well until I received a video from my friends LG handset via bluetooth. I don't know if that was the actual cause but that is when the problem started. Everytime I make a video it will either refuse to play with a message saying "error occured while playing media" or the video will play without sound then the sound will follow. Playback of the videos is shaky and unstable. Only mms videos play well but even they are starting to act up. What could b the problem. I have tried rebooting 2 no avail.
I have a pearl 9105 and i cannot play a video using windows media player, i had a nokia before and i could play videos no problem with windows media player?
I've just transfered all the data from my damaged 8350i to the refurbished 8350i they sent me. I have also switched the SIM card - and most everything worked fine. EXCEPT NO PICTURES, VOICENOTES, VIDEO, etc. on the new phone. Now however it says 'Insert Media Card'. I DID have a media card in the original phone, I thnk (at least the BBDesktop Manager detected one). But where/what/how sihould I handle this?
I have had my Blackberry Pearl for some time and have been very impressed with it however I have never been able to shoot video as when I try it gives the message 'insert media card to enable video'. There was already a media card inserted and I have purchased a new media card in case the fault was with the media card, not the phone - however it is still saying that a media card needs to be inserted to enable video shooting. I have pressed > Options > Memory and it states 'a media card is not presently inserted in the device'.....when I have tried two different media cards.
I would like to download images to my phone e.g. from my Facebook albums. 1. Is this possible from the built-in browser ? I can do it from Opera Mini, but haven't found a straightforward method for the Nokia browser.
2. The images I did download are very small (certainly smaller than the were when uploaded). Is it possible to download the full-sized image ? If not, is this a phone/browser or Facebook limitation ?
I have bought my new iPhone 4 and can't add any music. I also dont know how to add music. Before that, I used to use Android. It was so easy to do. But here I cant find anything? How can I add music/video from my macbook to iPhone music/ video?Â
I searched online about this matter but everywhere I found that, I have to add music to itunes at first. I even dont know how to do it.
