View 1 Repliesthis error message appears on my screen whenever i try to play a song on my music player.
View 6 Replies View Relatedeverytime i try to watch a video on Internet, the player tells me that an error has occurred attempting to play media. i have the blackberry option in my contract and my carrier says that it is not their fault that it is not working. Internet works just fine with wifi, but not on mobile network. my blackberry was unlocked from an at&t branding, but i don't think that's the problem, since everything else works just fine.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm sick and tired of have to pull by battery every time I want to go ahead and listen to some of my music on my Torch 9860. I am running with the v7.1.0.523 and this error message has been since I had this phone with V7.0 OS. So doesn't mater which version or how many times I upgrade my OS, it stills showing "An error has occurred attempting to play media"xxxxx".
Every time I'm on my musical mood I have to pull the battery off? That really means that I have to pull the battery like 2 or 3 times per day just because I wanted to play some music? I'm pretty sure iPhones doesn't need a reboot every time they have to play a media, and it's so annoying to have to do so. How to play my music without getting this effin message?
I recently encountered a problem with my 8520. Whenever I try to play video, a message pops up: "Device media processor is busy"...

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have a problem with video playing. i put some video from my pc via nokia pc suite and convert it to my n97.

If I shoot some video, I cannot access that new footage until I have rebooted and if I try it stops any of the video being playable until a reboot occurs.
View 14 Replies View RelatedSince upgrading to firmware40.0.005 (custom version 40.0.005.224.09) videos get stuck after a few minutes, even knowing the sound still plays.I have made some research and spotted people complaining of that issue after upgrading to that firmware but it was a few months back, and surely Nokia wouldn't have text me last week to let me know about a firmware update if the problems with it havent been resolved.Any help would be much appreciated as I am using my phone to watch video a lot as it normally does the trick to keep my hyper active toddler quiet while out and about.Even a firmware downgrade would be accpetable, the videos being so important to avoid the little one destroying places (it was a god sent in A&E)

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve 9330 (I think) that's about 3 weeks old. I downloaded two ringtones from Verizon and they played fine until yesterday. With no changes it now says "Invalid ringtone". When I attempt to play thru the music icon I get "An error has occurred attempting to play media." However, thru various maneuverings I can get the two songs to play but there's no way to restore them to ringtones. I've tried rebooting several times but nothing. I've searched just about every blog on this website and haven't found an answer. Interestingly, I can play UTube and just about any other media. Also, when I click "Options" in any app for info the only screen I get is to change wallpaper. Clicking "Options" from the home screen gives me the option to change ringtones, display, networks and connections, etc. but trying to change the ringtones results in the "Invalid ringtone" warning. I'm starting to hate this Blackberry!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recorded a video using my LG G4 phone, and when I play it back on my G4, while watching it, I get an error "Cannot Play Video, unsupported file type". The video freezes, but I can still hear the video. I never had this issue with Samsung. How do I resolve it?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy phone keeps randomly playing this video. It doesn't play the way videos normally play. There is no way to stop it or close it once it starts. (It does stop when I press the mute button, but starts back where it left off when I un-mute.) I tried clearing the internet browser history to see if that would fix the problem, but it did not.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo recently I got a new phone, my first phone! Proud and all, I just recently purchased a media card to start storing and listening to music.I am now unable to play any sort of media, sound or ringtone. The media card seems to not have anything to do with it. I also don't think it is file format, because videos that I can take with my phone are not able to be viewed.I have a BB 8520.
Edit: v5.0.0.900 (Bundle 1626, Platform 5.2.0.096

View 1 Replies View Relatedbefore this problem happends, about 3 days ago i've got an error message saying built in media got an error so must repair it or wipe it.. i tried to repair it, but it keeps saying built in media repair failed. so i wipe it..but, a couple of seconds after i click wipe built in media, my blackberry reboots by itself..after it finished rebooting, my blackberry tells me built in media got an error again.and i tried to wipe it again but my blackberry still rebooting it self again.this happends 4 times in a rowand yes, the blackberry still rebooting itself again.but, this time, my blackberry didn't finish rebooting, the loading bar stuck in 3/4 of the bar.of the bar.so today i tried to fix it with tried to restore it to factory default.. but it keeps failed connecting to the device..the third time i tried, it got a white blank screen when reaching the 3/4 loading bar..
View 1 Replies View RelatedUp till a few days ago I had no problems using You Tube. Now it won't work anymore.Everytime I try to watch a video on you tube, it says "loading." then I get a screen pop up saying "Error occurred while attemping to play media player"

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm sure I am not the first - but some of my music albums aka CD's will not play on my BB Torch. Adele and James Brown play just fine, but when I try to play Herbie Handcock I get this message.
"the media 01 Chameleon being played is of an unsupported format". And it goes through the entire album saying the same thing for each song. The file type is WMA
I seem to have this problem of not being able to stream videos on my Bold 9650. I always get this message on my screen, "error occurred attempting to play media"
View 1 Replies View RelatedFirstly, when I watch video on youtube about 4-6 clips - the error message appear: "Please touch to try again" - even I touch multiple times it still can not play.
Then, I go to the Video App (Sony), surprisingly, the video didn't play. It appear an error message: "Can not play this video" - I try with every single video on my phone and still has the same error message.
And more surprisingly, even the video on facebook have the same problem too.
So it must be like: If I watch video on any app, suddenly the clip can not play or just keep loading infinity, these app will be "infected" immideately (at the same time as well). The only thing I can do is reboot the phone.
I know reboot phone is just spend my little time around 15-30 seconds maybe. But it is very annoying to happen with very frequently.
when i was play online video it show error 404 not found.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI used my Torch to film two videos a few minutes apart. Both play on the phone - video and sound are perfect. When I copy them to my computer one of them plays just fine - the other only the sound - no picture. I've uploaded the file several times with same results. I've used the bb app to upload the files as well as windows explorer copy... always same result...

It was working great until I connected it to the computer for first time and did the updates and backup suggested. I now get the message "Built in storage media is not accessible due to fatal errors". I also lost all the ringtones. Being a non-techie I did not connect the two. The next time I connected to the computer to backup etc and to download ringtones because mine were gone, all the wallpaper that comes with the device was gone. I have connected again to back up my blackberry andtried to restore to see if that helps, it does not. I did try to reformat my Built in storage media but it did not get rid of the error message and now I donot even see built in storage media coming up when I am in device options.
