I've bought a Z5C on release date from the Sony store. I noticed a blur on the left side of the images ( imgur link ) so I went back to the Sony store. The staff said that it might blur out on the sides BUT that it should never be one sided. So I got a new device and this one suffered the same problem but less prominent ( photos from the 2nd Z5C ).

I have bought my Z3 just 2 weeks ago and already having problems with it, actually had screen issue on 2nd day of purchase but it became alright after a restart and phone worked properly, now today I can see black lines running across left side of the screen after several restarts and PC companion repair, screen is working fine though it flickers from time to time also the left side touch isnt working! I feel some connector is loose inside my phone or might be some bigger problem? I'm not sure myself.
Its been only 2 weeks, such an expensive phone and i'm already experiencing problems also my phone has not been dropped or been subjected to water.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter changing from sony xperia M5 to sony xperia Z5 i can see big difference in photo especially in indoor and low light photo. Xperia z5 photo are very noisy and no detail when zooming , my old z3 better than z5 and new high midrange m5 better also.
How can beat other new flagahip phone like s6 and note 5 and lg g4 in less detail and noisy pictures.
Also we have a big problem in sony at 20-23 mp in manual mode . No iso settings and no scene can be changed. Sony now have to advertise to sell z5 but the surprise in this camera and bad software.
No iso in 23 mp and 20mp it is a big problem now. We don't need sceen changing in high mp but iso in manual is very necessary.

Got a problem with my 5800 - just today, the touch screen has started being odd. It sometimes works perfectly but then i try and press a button on the left hand side of the screen and it chooses the one at the right-hand side. This obviously makes everything very difficult! Any ideas as to why this might be/how I could repair it? I've tried the touch screen calibration about 10 times, it sorts it out for about a minute.I can send it to Nokia to replace but I could really do without sending my phone away

View 9 Replies View RelatedRecently i bought a BB Bold 9700 and it was working just fine until one day a white stripe appeared on the left side of my screen. This didnt bother me so much. A couple of days later another stripe appeared; this was when i started to be worried. I looked for a solution online and i tried pressing on it and then clicking the "p" key, i've tried pulling the battery, and i've tried simply resetting it. I have never dropped this phone or gotten it wet. I did get a private screen for it and the stripe appeared after i got it so that might have something to do with it. Now there are 2 stripes most of the time but sometimes it switches to 1.

Newbie here with a brand spanking new Xperia 8.This may seem petty, but on the camera viewing screen there are two black lines down either side, similar to a widescreen TV broadcasting a show that is in a non-widescreen normal format.
I have convinced myself that I have done something to make this happen and that it wasn't like that at first. So my question is, can these be removed in some setting somewhere is this how it actually is all the time?
On the left side of the phone (same side as the micro usb port), there is a small 1/8" hole or port towards the bottom - about an inch up from the bottom. Can anyone tell me what that is for?
The reason I ask is because the first case I was using had a cut-out specifically for that port. But now I just switched to a different skin which doesn't. And I didn't want to cover it up if it was important..
I've had the Torch since the release date and fortunately I haven't had any major issues with my device, however I've noticed that there is a tiny gap between the lower left side of the bezel and the device's body. It never really caught my attention until I started typing a lot on the physical keyboard. Basically when ever my left thumb presses down on the lower left side of the bezel I notice that it slightly moves up and down and creates a soft click noise. I'm just concerned that the bezel may get worse over time. The right side of the bezel is perfectly snug against the rest of the phone but it's just the left side of the bezel that seems very slightly elevated from the phone's frame. Has anyone else noticed this on their torch?

I used to have the keyboard lock function assigned to the left side convenience key. This was really essential for me to have and now it is not available for me to assign when I try to assign something for the left side convenience key. I know the Tour has the option on the top of the phone to lock it but even when this is pushed, it will still unlock in my bag. How can I restore this option?
