N85, New firmware update, windows vista laptop, outlook 2007 and Nokia Ovi Suite 2.1.1.1.
For some reason, I can sync everything except calender and tasks. These have been checked in the Ovi dialogue boxes. I get an error 80044005 and the message says, " disconnect usb or bluetooth and re-try." I do this, but the same error.
CAn anyone help?
1. I have a few messages that I got a couple of days ago, and for some reason, those 5 last messages won't sync into Ovi. But if I send myself a new message now, it will sync that new one, still ignoring those other 5.
They are in the Inbox.
I'm using Ovi 2.1.1.1
Windows 7.
Connected via Bluetooth.
Nokia n95 (4gb) is my mobile.
Why is this happening?
2. Can I somehow reset/delete my current sync profile and start over with a fresh new sync of my mobile phone? I tried to un-install and re-install Ovi, but all the old sync data was already there... I want Ovi to "start over" if you will, in hope that this issue above goes away.
i cant sync my new N900 with the nokia ovi suite.i wanna know what can i do with that... the ovi suite give the next advice: " Unfortunately your device is not supported by nokia ovi suite" and i reed in the page that problem has been fixed.. but.why the suit show me that?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've just downloaded some songs from the Ovi Player Store with the voucher I was given from the phone; they downloaded and play on the Ovi player fine. However every time I try to sync the new songs to my phone, I either get the message 'Operation Failed: unable to copy tracks', or my phone turns off and restarts itself...
I have added music to my phone before and that worked fine but doesn't seem to be working this time. Any ideas on what is wrong or am I making a visit to the shop?
For some reason my phone will not sync with Ovi Suite. Contacts window reads "not in sync" and the other sync buttons do not work. My phone is an E 72.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the newest PC-suite version 7.1.40.1 installed on XP. I get my N900 connected to the computer, but i am not able to do anything. For example it isn't possible to pick my phone when i try to sync it with my computer. I can see it in the list, but i can't pick it. The other features in pc-suite doesn't work also, it is just connected.I have searched the net now for many hours and tried updating and installing everything in my opinion. But perhaps i have forgotten something?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently got an E72 instead of an E71. With my E72 I now have problems syncing my contact to the exchange server. Intial sync works fine. Resyncs won't work. I tried to empty my contacts on the exchange server. Do a intial resync. All contacts gone on E72. Create one contact. No sync anymore. In the admin_log I find an error "status from server indicates a server error" and an error code "Mail For Exchange Error -15006".
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm having major problems transferring my music to my new Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic. I have downloaded all my music onto the Ovi plalyer but when I connect my phone a message pops up on the phone asking me to select USB mode and choose between, 'PC Suite', 'Mass Storage', Image transfer', or media transfer. No matter which one I choose I can see no option on the Ovi player where |I can sync the phone and transfer my music to it (as per my ipod and itunes which is pretty straightforward!)
I'm assuming I can actually do this through Ovi player?I have managed to transfer my music onto the phone from windows media player but it saves into a 'music' folder and not onto the music player. The only way I can access this music is by going into 'applications' from the main menu, then, 'file manager' then 'memory card' then the music is listed but it's driving me mental by not being on the proper music player.
I have the x616g and since ive had it (about a month now) ive only been able to sync it once. it doesnt deem to want to complete a sync ever since. i hope im not gonna loose valuable data if i take it to a store (prefered last resort).i have latest ovi suit installed (2.11)

While Synchronizing my calendar from outlook 2007 with nokia 5800 I encountered a application crash with the following entry in the event viewer.

I'm unable to sync my n97 with Ovi. I'v set my phone sync settings to Ovi, saved the message from Ovi on my phone, entered the four digit pin sent by Ovi, de-selected contacts from the list of items i want to sync (i'm only syncing my contacts and calendar) and connected my phone to the internet but my n97 still fails to sync with Ovi. What am i doing wrong? Can someone pls help out?

View 8 Replies View RelatedOk had major issues with Lumia 820 which I got yesterday, as I wanted to upload my contacts and ringtones and music to the phone, now reading the guide I thought this would be so straight forward, insert the USB cable and bingo should sync straight away, well the fun begins. Inserted said cable and found phone but that was it came up in explorer but couldn't see anything, well after trolling all the web sites and saying you need Net framework, Zune, this software that software, and after doing all these things still no go, so tried a different laptop with W7 and installing some more software still had same problem, so now thinking it must be the phone. Removed battery, done hard reset (Nokia for loosing my photos) still nothing, then removed Sim card still no go, then removed the the SD card and BINGO the phone would sync. So it would seem if you have a SD card inserted then the phone won't sync this as wasted hours of my time just to get this to work. Put the SD card back into my old HTC and that would sync ok. Perhaps Nokia would like to comment.

View 7 Replies View RelatedHi guys, I am an ICT Tech having a problem with my bosses new Nokia E72 and syncing it with Microsoft Outlook calendar.
I have installed the Nokia PC Suite and followed all the instructions, helps topics, etc but still when i try to sync with the Outlook calendar i get the following error message:
"PC Sync has encountered a problem and has terminated the synchronisation.
Please check your synchronisation settings and ensure your phone is in the idle state, then restart the synchronisation."
The settings and phone are in the correct state as far as I can see. I am using Windows XP Pro and connecting the phone via USB.
As a last resort I tried uninstalling/Reinstalling Microsoft Outlook and the Nokia PC Suite, with the same outcome. The E72 replaces a Palm which worked great with Outlook; I have uninstalled all the software for the Palm (just noted in case this helps with the replies)
Has anyone found this problem before and does anyone have a solution for this?
I just recently bought a E71. I had an E61i for two years. I was able to setup my Gmail account seamlessly using the email wizard, however I have noticed that the E71 will not sync my emails automatically. I have to turn the device on and off and it will then synch with my Gmail.
When looking at the connection log when "Send and Receive" is set to "Soonest", the device would not sync emails throughout the day. I then changed "Send and Receive" to Every Hour and the log would show that the device would sync successfully every hour, but still it does not show that their is new email in my mailbox. I have to manually select "Sync" for new email to appear.
Any ideas about how I can fix this?I checked and according to Nokia Software update, I have the latest firmware for my model E71, I have a E71-2, code 056937 with 300.21.012. .I noticed the same issue with the E61i and was hoping that this would be resolved with the E71.
I'm unable to sync anything using Nokia Ovi Suite. Whet I startup the program the first message I get is "Operation failed - Unable to read tracks" (the audio tracks from the phone). The software can read and edit contacts in the phone as well as work with messages, but it won't sync either. The error code I get is 83940004. Both Ovi software and phone's firmware a up to date and everything works fine with PC Suite.Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this?
View 8 Replies View RelatedAfter a few days of excellent operation suddenly my E72 won't send e-mails through MfE any more. The emails just sit there in the outbox. Sometimes they get sent after several hours. I hit the send/receive button, it syncs but the emails don't get sent. I tried switching off/on the phone. I tried deleting the account and putting it back in. Sometimes I can send 1 e-mail after restart but then it stops. I receive e-mails with delay sometimes, even though I have sync schedule set to always on. My iPhone syncs with the same account and it works perfect. I tried in 2 different WLAN-nets with different ISP's and I tried over 3G. No difference. My network provider is Telenor Sweden.

We have a bunch of E72 syncing against Exchange 2003.Even if we set the sync to "sync always" it takes about 10-15 min for an email to appear in the phone. Is that what we can expect?I am used to BlackBerry where the emails appear faster than in Outlook.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI installed Nokia Messaging on my 5800 and it was working fine for a month or so. Now it has simply stopped syncing. WiFi / TMobile connection does not matter. Even if I click on "Send/Receive" it does not connect. (the connection indicator at the top-right is always grey - indicating no connection.)
So I deleted my GMail account and recreated it on the email.nokia.com website. Now when I try to send/receive it atleast shows the green 'connecting' icon and then goes back to grey. If I look at the connection info it says 'sync failed'. The logs show 'Sync stopped'.
I am using NOKIA E52 and e-mail for exchange on it and Calendar sync don't work fully. As I read other post that others has the same problem. We are using Exchange Server 2010!

View 54 Replies View RelatedI want to sync (through Ovi) my calendar with my E71. Everything worked fine until I changed my calendar setup in Outlook 2007. I am not using a Calendar with a different tab name and my default calendar is empty. The calendar on the E71 is now also empty as I takes the input from the default calendar. It is there way to sync with a non default calendar in outlook (I understand that multiple calendars is not supported anyway)
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am using the latest 2.1 ovi suite and the other day I went to sync my contacts and ended up having a lot of duplicates on my phone (nokia 5800), I logged into to ovi via the web and saw that all these contacts were duplicated on the website, I was wondering how did this happen?, and also is there anyway I can set it so that when I syc my contacts it updates them from the phone to the web, but it doesn't touch the contacts in the phone??
P.S. is there away to delete all the phone contacts on the ovi web page, I can only see an option to delete them one by one!!

Overall I am pleased with the X6 BUT I have a problem with it sync'ing up with my Audi Bluetooth (its the OEM Audi Kit). X6 "pairs" with the Audi Bluetooth, On my Audi Sat Nav display which can be switched to a telephone display I get that its hooked up to the Orange phone network and I can make and receive calls with the Nokia X6 via the Audi interface.What does NOT happen is that my Nokia X6 phonebook does not upload to my Audi Bluetooth System. The Audi System should also show received and recently made phone calls.My old Nokia 6280, my company Nokia 6021 & my wifes Sony Ericsson K800i all work perfectly with the Audi Bluetooth system so something is definately "up" with the X6 Bluetooth interface. As the "Bluetooth" is supposed to be an Industry Standard, why is the X6 bluetooth operating differently or incorrectly or is there some sort of software application I need to download to fix it?
