As the title states,i get an error saying unable to synchronise with server.I don wanna reset my phone because everything other than this works fine.i've set the acces point correctly and even username and password are correct.just wanted to know if there is a problem with ovi server.
View 8 RepliesAfter a few days of excellent operation suddenly my E72 won't send e-mails through MfE any more. The emails just sit there in the outbox. Sometimes they get sent after several hours. I hit the send/receive button, it syncs but the emails don't get sent. I tried switching off/on the phone. I tried deleting the account and putting it back in. Sometimes I can send 1 e-mail after restart but then it stops. I receive e-mails with delay sometimes, even though I have sync schedule set to always on. My iPhone syncs with the same account and it works perfect. I tried in 2 different WLAN-nets with different ISP's and I tried over 3G. No difference. My network provider is Telenor Sweden.

I am using PC Suite 7.1.40.6, under Windows XP Pro SP3. I have a 6600 fold phone, with the latest firmware (5.60). I connect via USB cable. PC Suite works perfectly apart for one thing. I cannot get the Sync function to work at all. If I run it, the program starts, and shows the phone as being properly detected and connected. However, if I press the Sync button or the Settings button, absolutely nothing happens! No error messages, just nothing. The only thing I have which I can sync with is Outlook Express, but surely even if I had no compatible programs installed I should still get something when I press the Settings button at least? I've tried repairing/reinstalling PC Suite and no difference. As i said, all other functions work fine.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have new N8 with fresh Belle Refresh, no contacts in memory.I have tested Exchange ActiveSync connection with my google account.Everything works, contacts, mails and calendar were synced.Then i tried to turn off contacts sync - contacts from phone memory vanished.Then i deleted google mailbox and created new Exchange with other gmail account - since then contacts are not synchronized, even with sync turned on.I've deleted mailbox again and setup first one, still not contacts synchronized.

N900 says nothing.Backups and contacts sync with Ovi Suite works ok.Sync used to work earlier. The only thing I've done is that I've installed the Hildon patch, that fixes the "jumping" phone answer UI (from maemo.org). Should have nothing to do with sync, but who knows.Ovi Suite is of last available version on Win7/32bit and N900 has PR 1.2.

I have noticed that most of the contact changes I make in the web interface (like adding an email address) are not synced to the phone. Today I added 4 new contacts in the web then synced several times, and just one was copied to the phone. The sync registry in the phone showed correctly that just one contact had been added to the phone. The phone is a Nokia E51 and I am syncing over WiFi.

At the settings I could choose my nsf database an save it. Now I would sync the Notes calender with the PC Suite. Sync is starting and I got the question about the password from the notes nsf and go ahead. Now I got the message, a pop up from PC sync " notes/company/de!!mail/person.nsf, file is missing ". 2. Can I somehow reset/delete my current sync profile and start over with a fresh new sync of my mobile phone? I tried to un-install and re-install Ovi, but all the old sync data was already there... I want Ovi to "start over" if you will, in hope that this issue above goes away.

I have my Google voice number as my default phone, and my default messaging app. It doesn't play nice with Ford Sync in our companies new Explorer. Let me state the regular Verizon number works flawless with it. Back to hangouts. I can dial out from sync with no problems. But incoming calls to the hangouts number(Google voice number) are not acknowledged by Sync. When I answer the call with the phone, the audio does come through sync, and I can hang up the call from sync. Text messages are not acknowledged at all by Sync. I can change sync to Bluetooth audio and hear/control from there. But, who wants to leave it set to Bluetooth audio. I want to hear the radio.

I am having issues with BIS Gmail e-mail two way sync. Contacts and calendar are fine. I have deleted the account & re-added upgraded the device firmware but to no avail. I can delete e-mails off the BlackBerry and read them and this is reflected on the Mailbox (webmail gmail). BUT If I read or delete an e-mail on the webmail, it DOES NOT reflect on the BlackBerry.

Got a new Blackberry to use for both my personal and work e-mails. Previously work had supplied all Blackberrys but were moving to HTC, but as I am a luddite who prefers buttons, I opted out and to go it alone. Initially I managed to set up my outlook so that everything worked well - outlook mail, calander etc was synced, and updated regularly. I did thisvia the blackberry desktop, rather than the BES, as I knew this was being discontinued. Then I went on holiday last week, and while somewhere in Germany, my work mail stopped downloading (my personal mail carried on fine). Now I'm back, and it still won't work!

It gave up the ghost a couple of years ago for some unknown reason and there were not fixes available according to IT.Anyway, I connect the device but do not find applications that will work. No ali or alx files to be found. The whole reason I went to this phone was because it was supposed to work with Outlook from what I understood, and get email.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have two email addresses registered on my Torch: my business and my private email address. I have set my business email address as default. When syncing with Outlook, it syncs with the default calendar in Outlook and doesn't take over entries I made on the phone.
I tried moving all calendar entries from Default and my private email to the business email address on the Torch but then while syncing it wants to delete all my entries in the Outlook calendar.
I am linked to the company Exchange Server. The phone successfully updates when changes are made on my PC, but changes made on my phone are not going back up the line to Exchange. Can anyone help with suggestions on what to investigate. I do not have direct access to Exchange settings and would need to involve IT if suggestions relate to server settings?

I have wifi syncing issue. I used to connect with my two computers, one is my home PC (win7 64bit), the other is my office Macbook Pro (Lion). My iphone's itunes library is on my home PC, I have checked "Sync with this iPhone over Wi-Fi" on itunes options. In general, wifi syncing is working if iphone connected to my home PC only with USB.
At office, I used itunes on my macbook pro to listen iphone's music. So, I connected iphone to macbook pro with USB, then loaded my iPhone's music. (not push sync button). At home, I plugged my iphone into charger generally, then turning on itunes that couldn't find my iphone 3GS for wifi syncing. For resolving the issue, I need to sync with USB once, then it would work again, but it's so annoying.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a 2010 ford focus with the sync system. Every feature on the system used to work well with my bbry but now I have some issues with the photon.
1. When I use the bluetooth connection to try to stream pandora, my library starts to play automatically. It will run both applications simultaneously until I turn one off.
2. It only connects automatically about 50% of the time when I enter the car. I have two phones installed. The photon is the #1, my wife's evo is #2. It automatically connects to the evo upon entering the car with both phones, desite repeatedly re-installing. I need both installed because we trade cars often and it's a pain to re-install hers every time. it used to work fine with evo & bbry.
3. My music library does not show
On the plus side the photon lets me respond to text messages with the voice to text feature and the radio range is so good that if I move the car from out front into the driveway 60+ft away, the blue tooth STILL connects.
I am using 2 imap accounts within the messaging application but the emails are nto being pushed to my device (the problem described in this thread. I also rised an ticked to the motorola support but the surprisingly didn't helped. Yesterday I found the "Accounts and Sync Settings" application in my phone and as I checked it there, I found that my email accounts are listed there but the synchronisation settings for them is set to "OFF" which may be the reason why is the push not working.
