I have the x616g and since ive had it (about a month now) ive only been able to sync it once. it doesnt deem to want to complete a sync ever since. i hope im not gonna loose valuable data if i take it to a store (prefered last resort).i have latest ovi suit installed (2.11)

I'm unable to sync anything using Nokia Ovi Suite. Whet I startup the program the first message I get is "Operation failed - Unable to read tracks" (the audio tracks from the phone). The software can read and edit contacts in the phone as well as work with messages, but it won't sync either. The error code I get is 83940004. Both Ovi software and phone's firmware a up to date and everything works fine with PC Suite.Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this?

The applications recognizes the phone and creates a bluetooth connection, but upon selecting the phone in PC Sync within PC Suite this message appears: "Program PC Sync does not support connected phone".Ovi Suite is not an option as I am forced to use PC Suite provided by my employer/work computer provider. I receive a "PC Sync was unable to locate your Outlook message store" error message. By searching this board, it appears that this is a fairly common problem. I have never had any nokia products on it prior to my attempts.Connecting via USB (no errrors or problems reported with this).Does anyone have a bonafide solution for this? This really sounds like buggy software to me.

I got Nokia E75 and tried to set up my Hotmail via Microsoft Exchange (since hotmail allows to do this). But every time it sync, I receive the following error "Unable to sync. Contact administrator if problem persists." All my data including calendar, contacts and also received mail, is synced except sent e-mails. I really need all this stuff being synced!
View 1 Replies View RelatedSince downloading the new Nokia Messaging client 10.2.0.4 (Main) on my N97 Mini (11.0.045) it refuses to sync with my gmail account (it worked prior to downloading the new client via Software update on the phone).
I've tried changing the "When to Sync" setting to soonest or 15 mins etc but that makes no difference.If I change the access point it will open a connection (which it wont have done until this point) but still no sync. It never seems to close the connection, unless the phone is rebooted.Anyone have the new messaging client working ?

2. Can I somehow reset/delete my current sync profile and start over with a fresh new sync of my mobile phone? I tried to un-install and re-install Ovi, but all the old sync data was already there... I want Ovi to "start over" if you will, in hope that this issue above goes away.

I don't know if any of those changes caused the problem.The first time I attempted to sync the calendar following the above changes I received an Intellisync message "Connection to Yahoo server lost". I seem to recall that this occurred once before on another Blackberry model that I owned but can't recall how I resolved it.

I normally sync my calendar with Outlook on my desktop. I went to sync with Outlook today and none of my calendar entries are syncing. If on look on my device all of the entries are marked as being xxx@gmail.com entries. How can I change all of these entries back to sync with Outlook instead?
