I am having problem tethering my bold 9700 to my pc for use as a modem. I am on Tmobile service and am running Vista OS. I called Tmobile and was told that while they no longer support it, it could be done but that Tmobile would not provide me with directions to do so. Is there anyone out there that can give a technology challenged nerd like me step by step instructions to tether my 9700 to my pc with Windows vista. I have searched the forums and cannot find anything that fits

I have searched the forums and cannot find anything that fits what I need, instructions given are for other carriers than Tmobile and/or for Mac OS or Windows XP. I need info for Windows Vista OS, Tmobile carrier and 9700 blackberry. The blackberry desktop manager gives me the following error - unable to detect configured blackberry ip modem device. I debranded my C905a into C905, which works great. I also like to connect it to my PC in phone mode so I can tether via Sony Ericsson PC suite. One day, my PC installed some USB driver on its own, and all of a sudden the phone can only connect in mass storage mode, instead of phone mode. Now I can't back up or tether. Has anyone ever had this problem before? I have windows vista basic; Please help I'd appreciate any info on how to fix this problem.
My toshiba laptop is running windows vista, and it actually says it's connected through wifi to the personal hotspot on my iPhone 4s, but I am unable to use the Internet at all. When connected via USB, I have no troubles whatsoever. When I check the different connections on the laptop, the USB connection says "local and Internet", while the wifi connection says "local" only. I'm sure this is an issue with the laptop, but I'm severely challenged when it comes to computers.
The installer stops after trying to install the files with an error like "Probem detected in the windows installation package. A program required for this installation could not be executed. Contact your technical support or the package editor". I am assuming this is a compatibility issue with SP2. PC suite has the same issue.
I'm stuck, I keep getting the following error trying to sync the Lumia 800 to my laptop using Zune. Both the lumia and the laptop have the latest versions of software etc, zune has only just been installed, and says there are no updates available, and the phone installed 2 updates when first connected, and now also says up to date.
I have previously connected the phone to a win 7 PC (but that has dieD so is in pieces currently), but I am now looking to use this Vista laptop to backup the pictures etc from the phone.I'm even using a genuine Nokia usb cable to connect it Ive rebooted both the phone and computer and the error stays the same.
I use Ovi Suite, download a map of Beijing documents, Ovi suite shows "preparing to download the map", the pop-up "Ovi Suite 2 Stopped Working". Why is this the case?

i am not able to connect my N8 to OVI Suite since I installed the Windows 8 Consumer Preview operating system. My USB port is working fine as I am able to charge and connect in media transfer mode. It just doesn't work when the OVI suite mode is enabled.how I can work around this please. I use OVI suite a lot as I do most of my messaging through the PC. When will Nokia release a new edition of the OVI Suite that will work well with Windows 8. On once occasion, I was able to reinstall OVI suite by right clicking and selecting Windows 7 in compatibility settings and by running the program as administrator. However, even that doesn't seem to be working anymore.
like the title suggests i cant install pc suite mode, it fails saying no such interface supported. is this a known issue? does anyone have any ideas on this.

Problem: BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) occurs constantly.
I think the problem is the phone drivers (via cable). The program itself shouldn't be it.I made a system recovery, which worked. And my computer was restored. But when I tried once again the same problem occurred. How can I use the phone with the computer without getting the BSOD?
I'm trying to download my music but WP8 uses the Windows Phone App client in Windows 8. Wll, when I tried connecting my phone, it says "Your phone is having troubles" error message. The instruction says to power off the phone. But no luck. Tried searching MS community but nothing there (but I won't rule out I didn't search well. Also, I posted the same question there and waiting for a response.)

I have tried so many different suggestions so far that I have lost track of them.
Can someone please give me clear details on how I need to configure my computer so that when I attach the phone it is recognized? It keeps failing on USB Modem.
Recently whenever I plug my HTC Tattoo into my computer via USB, nothing happens, and won't recongise it being there. No pop-up comes up on my phone either. I'm on Vista. Is there anything I can do short of a complete phone reset to see if that works?

I am trying to put some music from my laptop (running Vista) onto my Wildfire, but neither the Wildfire nor the laptop react to connecting via USB cable. I have transferred music before but somehow settings have been changed?
I have recently updated to the latest version of Windows Phone 10. The camera suddenly stopped working. It either shows a black screen (in photo mode) or 4 small squares of the same image (in Video Mode).
I signed up for Windows Insider on my Lumia 1020 and the next day I was prompted to perform a system maintenance update. I went ahead and approved it and it ended up being the Windows 10 Mobile upgrade. The upgrade went smoothly. For some reason Windows Maps will not launch. This is also affecting the HERE app.
