Nokia Lumia :: 800 Driver Not Found On Windows Vista
Jan 18, 2012
I tried to connect my Lumia to Windows, but my Vista does not seem to have a driver for Lumia.I downloaded Zune, but also when I connect Zune to my phone, I get the message 'driver not found'.Can I get the driver from somewhere? Or is there another way to copy an mp3 onto the phone?
Trying to install my BB on my new laptop w/Windows 7 Professional. Tells me "device driver software not found," troubleshooting says driver not compatible with this version of Windows. I had no problem with my old Vista. Tried to register for support but since I can't get my phone onto my laptop it would not let me.
My N73 not connecting with my windows vista after an updated my old software with the nokia software update. i have tried resetting mu phone and unistalling the pc suite and ovi and installing them back but no use... i hav no idea what to do. the mass storage option works fine but the computer just dont recognosie the phone when in pc suite mode... i am using windows vista home basic.before the update the applications were working fine .
I'm stuck, I keep getting the following error trying to sync the Lumia 800 to my laptop using Zune. Both the lumia and the laptop have the latest versions of software etc, zune has only just been installed, and says there are no updates available, and the phone installed 2 updates when first connected, and now also says up to date.
I have previously connected the phone to a win 7 PC (but that has dieD so is in pieces currently), but I am now looking to use this Vista laptop to backup the pictures etc from the phone.I'm even using a genuine Nokia usb cable to connect it Ive rebooted both the phone and computer and the error stays the same.
I was able to use Ovi suite fine before I recently reinstalled XP on my system. But now when I connect the N8 I get the "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)" error. Have tried uninstalling and re-adding the hardware, but keep getting the same problem. Have tried installing drivers from the download on the Nokia site, version 22.214.171.124, but it refuses to do so, telling me I have more up to date drivers already installed (although the installed ones seem to be 126.96.36.199, which is older, isn't it..?)
Windows doesn't have the driver for the USB cable for the X6 i'm using Windows XP Home Service Pack 2, when i plugged the phone in, it searched for the drivers but said, windows can't find the drivers bla bla bla, any idea's on how to solve this issue, or where i can Download the drivers?
I'm using bluetooth for everything but i need the bloody USB cable for software updating....
I am having problem tethering my bold 9700 to my pc for use as a modem. I am on Tmobile service and am running Vista OS. I called Tmobile and was told that while they no longer support it, it could be done but that Tmobile would not provide me with directions to do so. Is there anyone out there that can give a technology challenged nerd like me step by step instructions to tether my 9700 to my pc with Windows vista. I have searched the forums and cannot find anything that fits

I have searched the forums and cannot find anything that fits what I need, instructions given are for other carriers than Tmobile and/or for Mac OS or Windows XP. I need info for Windows Vista OS, Tmobile carrier and 9700 blackberry. The blackberry desktop manager gives me the following error - unable to detect configured blackberry ip modem device. I have already verified that I do have a dial up modem and that it is working properly. Please help. I know that I can purchase TETHER and more than likely will but would like to learn to do this
I debranded my C905a into C905, which works great. I also like to connect it to my PC in phone mode so I can tether via Sony Ericsson PC suite. One day, my PC installed some USB driver on its own, and all of a sudden the phone can only connect in mass storage mode, instead of phone mode. Now I can't back up or tether. Has anyone ever had this problem before? I have windows vista basic; Please help I'd appreciate any info on how to fix this problem.
My toshiba laptop is running windows vista, and it actually says it's connected through wifi to the personal hotspot on my iPhone 4s, but I am unable to use the Internet at all. When connected via USB, I have no troubles whatsoever. When I check the different connections on the laptop, the USB connection says "local and Internet", while the wifi connection says "local" only. I'm sure this is an issue with the laptop, but I'm severely challenged when it comes to computers.
I'm trying to download my music but WP8 uses the Windows Phone App client in Windows 8. Wll, when I tried connecting my phone, it says "Your phone is having troubles" error message. The instruction says to power off the phone. But no luck. Tried searching MS community but nothing there (but I won't rule out I didn't search well. Also, I posted the same question there and waiting for a response.)
I can pair my torch 9800 with my laptop running Windows 7 but it can not install the driver. Where do I find the driver? It pairs, my torch is showing in device list, Windows searches for driver but not able to find the driver to install.
I'm trying to use QuickLink Mobile Phone Book on a Dell Vostro 200 desktop running Windows XP. I can't seem to load the drivers from the install disk. The installation wizard can't find the drivers. Has anybody run into this problem?
I have a Samsung Hue 2 tethered as a modem through Alltel (now Verizon). It worked fine with Windows XP, but not with Windows 7. I called Samsung and was told that a Win 7 driver does not exist yet. This phone is still under contract so I cannot switch it for a different brand. Great, the only computer I could buy now is Win 7, 64 bit.
I recently received an email from BlackBerry that there was an update available for my BlackBerry Bold 9900. I opened the desktop software and clicked on the update button. Then I needed to update the latest version of my os. Before doing anything, I backed up my phone to the desktop software successfully. After the updates the software does not recognize my device. I get a message to install driver software and I am prompted to use a disk which I never had, so it searches for a solution, but fails.
I am unable to successfully add my Blackberry 9700 as a bluetooth device paired to my Windows 7 64 bit laptop in order to use the wireless syncing function. When I attempt to pair the device, I receive the error message "device driver was not successfully installed" and "Bluetooth peripheral device- no driver found." The properties display 2 missing drivers. Can someone advise me from where I can obtain these missing drivers. I am using Desktop Manager 188.8.131.52.
I have a old phone (K750i) which I used to use on my XP. Now that I am using Windows 7 Ultimate Edition, I am not able to install the USB driver on my PC, and connect my K750i. Can someone please suggest if I can use/ install the USB driver on windows 7 to connect to my K750i phone.
I am just receiving my Motorola Defy. But I can't transfer files between computer and phone : the MTP driver has a bad installation.I have a message (not exact I translate because I'm in french): "bad service in INF file"I have tried reboot, uninstall and re-install, by the hand or by the Motorola drivers installer (I have dowladed the last version). Nothing.
I'm trying to link my RAZR HD and 64-bit Windows 7 laptop through bluetooth (Intel Centrino Bluetooth 3.0 adapter). I pair them, but when the driver installation starts, all but one of the 5 driver installations fail. Is this a Motorola problem and if so, is there anywhere I can download the correct drivers? I'm 90% sure everything is up to date on the laptop end of the equation.
