When I try to access web sites from the Blackberry browser I get the "Unable to connect to the selected mobile data service. Please try again later" message. This happens whether connected through the T-Mobile network or Wi-fi.When I change the browser settings to the T-Mobile browser I am able to access web site just fine. However I would prefer to use the Blackberry browser because not all pages load correctly with the T-Mobile browser.
I have an active data plan and am connected to an enterprise server. My outlook and webmail e-mails work so I don't think it's a problem with my carrier. I've tried a battery pull, re-sending my service books, etc without luck.I think the problem may have started after connecting to my desktop for the first time in about a year, but I'm not completely certain. T-Mobile support and IT administrator have been no help.
Every time I use it (either for yahoo messenger or ovi) it must can't to connect.notification showed that "Temporary service problem.Try again later(code503) but if i try again it must be same.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI can't send SMS with the famous "Can't send, try again" message popping up 10 minutes later. Extremely annoying, especially considering that I am able to receive messages, no problem. As soon as I switch the data connection off - the problem disappears. SMS Centre number is fine. I read somewhere that it might be due to linked contacts having different values of "mobile number" in different profiles. That was the case, but nothing changed even after I deleted the mobile numbers in all but one profile in the linked group.I love my white lumia, but this really makes me want to throw it against a wall. Please help me and save this innocent piece of hardware

I have NEVER been able to use the Facebook App. I had downloaded the v1.7 from App world and it never worked giving me the message: "Could not connect because a data service is not available. Please try again later. If this continues, contact your service provider for support"
I deleted it and tried downloading from the link sent from this website for v1.6 and received this message:
"Notice Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Facebook." I must state that this is not the only problem I am having, it now seems that Bluetooth doesn't work either.

View 4 Replies View RelatedEver since I got my lumia 800, 5 days after its release, I have never been able to connect to my wireless network at home.
I have tried everything I can think of. I am using a Linksys WAG160N modem router running WEP encryption.
I know the WEP key (because I made it) so I know it is correct, but the phone always says that the password is incorrect.
I am able to connect to my secure network at home as well as the AT&T hotspots; however, my 900 is does not connect to my work Wi-Fi network.. It lists the network, and I input the correct credentials, it thinks for a couple of seconds and then errors out with a message similar to - unable to connect to the network.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to deploy some code to two Windows Phone 8 devices from Windows 8.Unfortunatey, the 920 and 820 are both not causing me some amount of trouble.When I plug the devices in it recognises them as Windows Phones and I can explore the files on the devices but when I press deploy on my code it says no Windows Phone 8 device detected. When looking in device manager there is two versions of the Nokia device I am using and an exclamation mark, update the drivers says "drivers not found online" and uninstalling the drivers just removes them but then after a restart the two versions both with exclamation marks pops up again.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry 9860 with DU sim. In order to have access with instant messaging (BBM, FB, YM), i subscribed to DU's social blackberry service(1.50 aed/day). Usually, once i dont have a load balance, the service will automatically deactivated but once i recharge, the 1.50 aed will automatically deducted and my subscription will be activated. But last wednesday night, it was deactivated since i dont have load balance. That same day, i recharge and was expecting that it will be activated again...But i didnt received any notification that it was activated Until now its not activated. They just keep on telling me to wait and just gave me an exact time and it will be activated again..but nothing happens.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been facing this problem this the last couple of months.. whenever I travel and get into the roaming network, my phone doesnt connect to the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) because of which i cannot use BBM or any other internet based application. As soon as i am in local network, it gets connected to BIS. I have tried everything..data service while roaming is on.. have switched off phone, removed sim and restarted. Last evening I visited Vodafone store, the guy put my sim in another blackberry device and it got connected to BIS. However its doesnt get connected on my device. He suggested me to do a data wipe which I did, still am unable to connect to BIS.

I bought a new unlocked iPhone 4s, my problem is that the phone does not connect to Internet using cellular data, iOS 5.1.0, however it works fine on wi-fi networks. I called up my cell company and they could not help, I am using airtel 3G in India since last 10 years, and this is my third iPhone, I never faced any such problem before. I am unable to send and rcv emails on edge or 3G, can't access Internet also.
I tried using my sim on another iPhone 4s and the 3G worked, even edge worked,
I used another iPhone's sim in my iPhone, and the cellular data did not work- so it was clear that there was something wrong in the hand set
Now on checking forums I tried many things
Turned off and on airplane mode - cellular data did not work
Reset network settings - cellular data did not work
Reset all settings - cellular data did not work
Erase all content and settings - cellular data did not work
Removed sim and put it back - cellular data did not work
Soft reset - cellular data did not work
Hard reset - cellular data did not work.
if there is something I can do to get my 3G or edge working, is there a possibility of defective handset.

No notification comes in the notification bar once it is turned on and I am unable to connect. But on disconnecting, the data traffic has been disabled notification appears.

View 19 Replies View RelatedI had 3G connection until today afternoon. To check if the Cyan update is available, I changed the region to US and back to India. After this the phone is not connecting to cellular data network, even though I can make voice calls. It connects to Wi-Fi without issues. So far I have tried the following -
1. Soft reset (power and volume down)
2. Change region back and forth
3. Hard reset (twice)
Internet APN is set to internet, but still no connection and the status bar is not showing E/3G or H+.
My almost one year old lumia 800 has started showing No Serive error, the customer care executive has told me it could be a problem with the sim card slot. I even reset my phone to no avail. I get the serive for a minute or so after refitting the sim card.

If I launch Ovi Suite (v3.1.1.90) and go to Maps section, screen "Connecting to the map service..." is displayed, but after while: "Couldn't connect to the service - There seems to be a problem with connecting to the online map service. If the problem doesn't go away, please try again later.".
I'm connected over WiFi and all is working normally. I tried connection over USB cable and bluetooth as well, restart computer and phone, reinstall Ovi Suite, format memory card, reinstall device software, reset to factory settings, full reset to initial state (*#7370#) but it wasn't worked.

If I launch maps in my phone and go to Update, there is option "Add new maps", after select appropriate map and click on Download is progress bar "Installing, please wait!" displayed, but process ends with error message "Map download failed!".

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got my Lumia 1520 handy but when I tried to connect it to the local Wifi hotspot (WPA2 encrypted), it times out saying "Connection unsuccessful - No response from the network". I searched the net for solutions and based on those, I restarted the Wifi Router, my Lumia 1520. Also I did a factory reset of the device.
But still, it is unable to connect to Wifi hot spot.I also tried connecting with another Wifi hotspot (WPA2), but nothing good happened. My other devices like Surface, Lumia 1020 are able to connect to the same hotspot without any issues. There is no restrictions on no. of Wifi connection as I am broadcasting the Wifi from my laptop (Windows 8.1 Update 1) as a virtual wifi hotspot.

View 5 Replies View RelatedA few months ago, I dropped my phone (the day before my case came in the mail, of course) and the screen went fuzzy, much like an old box tv for several minutes, then rebooted several times before catching up to itself. I'm not sure what on earth happened because of this drop, but since then I have had a huge amount of issues.
First- I cannot complete certain updates on my phone, including some system updates such as for "extras+info" and "Lumia Camera". I get the error code 80070539 on these failed updates, but I do not believe that is the real reason these apps will not update. One method I used to fix this was to make sure I accepted updated terms and conditions for Microsoft, which completed some updates, but I still have several left waiting.
Second- Several apps and processes just do not work at all. Example: settings>applications>photos+camera the screen begins to flip over to the photos+camera menu, then abruptly stops before returning to the applications menu. This exact scenario happens to several other processes throughout the phone, including the calendar app, adding new emails and accounts, etc.
Third- I cannot backup my phone. This is a major problem as I have an abundance of files that I desperately need on my phone, but whenever I attempt to backup my phone, it may make it up to 97% maximum before it says the backup failed. This is the primary reason I haven't attempted a hard reset yet, and I would prefer to avoid doing a hard reset unless we can manage to fix at least the backup issue.
Fourth- My computer will not recognize my phone. I am running a laptop with Windows 8.1, all my drivers are up-to-date, I've uninstalled/reinstalled drivers, etc. but the computer doesn't even recognize that I plug the phone in, even though my phone still charges at a normal rate. I have also tried different computers and different cables. Nothing has proven useful. There is not a place in my computer that I can find a trace of detection of my phone, not under devices/drives/anything.
I will try just about anything that doesn't involve losing all of my data.
