View 4 RepliesI got a lumia 800 last week and the internet was working fine - then the last couple of days the internet wont work. It does occasionally work with wifi but not all the time (and the wifi is working as it works on my laptop). Wont connect to hotmail also. Settings all appear to be ok.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI just updated my N8 from symbian anna to belle. Everything went ok. Now I'm trying to connect to my home wifi network which has WEB security. I can connect without a problem. I mean the phone says it's connected to the network. But when I try to access a website there is only the error page. And after a minute or so the wifi connection drops out by itself. I saved the network, and there's no other destination in the settings/destinations menu. the phone is not connecting to it by itself. Is there a way to go back to Anna?

When I go into settings and connectivity there is no option to select or search for WLAN. I have tried everything I can think of. I am using a Linksys WAG160N modem router running WEP encryption.
I know the WEP key (because I made it) so I know it is correct, but the phone always says that the password is incorrect.
I am able to connect to my secure network at home as well as the AT&T hotspots; however, my 900 is does not connect to my work Wi-Fi network.. It lists the network, and I input the correct credentials, it thinks for a couple of seconds and then errors out with a message similar to - unable to connect to the network.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to deploy some code to two Windows Phone 8 devices from Windows 8.Unfortunatey, the 920 and 820 are both not causing me some amount of trouble.When I plug the devices in it recognises them as Windows Phones and I can explore the files on the devices but when I press deploy on my code it says no Windows Phone 8 device detected. When looking in device manager there is two versions of the Nokia device I am using and an exclamation mark, update the drivers says "drivers not found online" and uninstalling the drivers just removes them but then after a restart the two versions both with exclamation marks pops up again.

On my Nokia Lumia 1320, I am unable to connect to my Wi-Fi. It says "Your Phone Won't be able to connect to the internet provided by this network". My phone is able to connect to the other Wi-Fi and other phones are able to connect through my Wi-Fi.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently deactivated my Blackberry Bold 9000 (v4.6.0.304 operating system) from AT&T since I ported my cell phone number to US Cellular who had better coverage in my region. I'd like to continue using my Blackberry Bold 9000 as a free wi-fi only internet access device and install the Google Voice app so my kids could text message and make phone calls via the Google Voice app and phone's wi-fi connection. While my BB Bold is able to connect to our home wi-fi network like in the past it doesn't successfully connect to the internet and gives me the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later."

Other fact:
1. never had this issue in wp8.0
2. all other gadgets (laptop, note, galaxy tab) do not have issue with connection and internet to the wifi router at home
3. NL1520 sometimes have internet connection when connected, but I cannot tell the pattern (I thought it was limit of connection, but it wasn't).
4. If connect my laptop to router, and then make my laptop as an internet router(use Spotify for example), NL1520 can connect to laptop's wifi and ALWAYS have internet connection (this has been my work around solution)
5. NL1520 can connect to other router in public just fine, so only my router at home.. but fact the other gadgets has no issue, I assume it is NL 1520 issue

The error "unable to connect to the internet please try again later" appears. The phone has a clear signal of the wifi, i've tried various other hotspots, my other phones work perfectly. The blackberry says it's connected to the wifi, but no internet browsing is possible. What else can I do other than rip the battery out to re-boot?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had the iPhone 3GS. I've been unable to connect to the internet via 3G. It works perfectly fine via WiFi and I've tried the SIM in a different handset and it works fine, so that's not the problem. Strangely, it does however work in certain instances, for example I can receive WhatsApp messages and some push notifications, but it will not load internet pages, Facebook, Twitter etc. I've also noticed that the battery is running down quicker than usual. I've tried resetting the network settings, along with resetting the phone on several occasions, neither of which seems to have worked.

I re-applied the connection settings, but my phone keeps randomly disconnecting from the Internet. I usually turn it off and restart it in order to get connected once again. But in a couple of hours, the problem resurfaces.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a wireless network at my work (that is functional and works for my laptop) that I cannot figure out how to connect to with my Blackberry Curve 9300 OS 6.I can find the network, and when it prompts for the password and I enter it, everything appears as though it should work.The WiFi box is checked in "Manage connections" and on my home screen, at the top, above the time, it shows my provider's name and the WiFi network I'm connected to (Koodo - Arnason Lab <--- network name).When I try to use my browser though, I get the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later.If the problem persists please contact your service provider." I called Koodo and they told me that this sounds like a device problem and that contacting BlackBerry would be my best bet. Is my browser set up to work via WiFi?
