View 2 Repliesnew owner of the 920. Not yet proud of it though. How come there is no macro mode for the camera? The close-up "scenes" has trouble focusing things 6 inches away.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy N82 while taking pictures focuses properly in macro mode. (Green rectangular box). Other than macro mode I can see only red rectangular box (indicating improper focus?) and the photo seems to be blurred. Macro mode photos seems to be good. Even if I put camera settings to 'Auto' I am getting red rectangular box most of the times instead of green. Software or hardware fault?

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy z5 initially encountered error when activating camera "camera or flash might have been used in other apps".. Camera failed to launch/open, then the screen becomes blurry when camera is on. Now, managed to switch on camera but it stays on macro mode all the time, and unable to focus. When capturing images, it hanged and i need to switch off and on back, then only the phone seems ok.. But until now, the cam still in problematic mode.
View 7 Replies View RelatedThere is no macro mode listed in the RAZR M's camera settings. Is this because the stock app does not support macro (merely a software thing) or is it a camera hardware feature that is missing on the M camera?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I use manual mode in camera, tripod icon and macro icon doesn't show when i use tripod or shoot a macro object. But the icons show when i use superior auto mode. Did all you have the same behaviour ? or it's just my phone ? My device is Z5 Premium Dual ....
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm getting blurred images in macro mode or when the object is close and the camera app is failing to recognize close objects conssistently. I've tried repairing my phone but no dice. The issue is greater in case of small objects, eg flowers, etc and the camera doesn't even focus properly on it, resulting in abrupt and blur images.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to save settings on the 1020 Nokia Camera App so that it starts with these settings? I'm assuming it would mean altering the way the app is coded, or possibly using and add-on type of extension for it. I'd like it to start in 'Sports' mode as this is the one I use most often, and in my haste often forget to change.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWell i know its not possible to get focus shorter than 15 cm with 1020, but when you try to focus an closer thing, in a second it gets the focus, and then loses it. So i was thinking here, if there is any trick to shorter this distance.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIn Nokia Camera,
1) In Camera Mode:----
OIS works with Auto Focus
OIS works when we manually set focus to infinity
But OIS doesn't work when Focus is on Manual.
However In Video mode,
OIS works in all 3 cases, i.e. OIS works whether focus is Auto or to infinity or Focus is Manual.
Let us request Nokia to look into this matter and release an update to Nokia Camera app to fix this issue.
I have just upgraded my Nokia N73 to the E72 and am very very disappointed with the picture quality of the camera.
It does not appear to be the same quality as the Carl Zeiss lens of my old N73 and many pictures seem to be out of focus. It has annoying habit of when i try to take a quick snap of continually asking me to chose a shooting mode and the therefore the moment has gone. I also use this camera function for my work and unless I can find advice on taking better quality pics then it will have to go back.Is mine a faulty unit or is there a knack of taking a picture without the camera moving which I think is causing part of the problems.
I feel the lumia camera has lost its zoom clarity to some point...
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have two issues. I took a picture using Nokia camera app which is on default. Some pics didn't save.
Next is when you take picture. When u go to photo albums. You see a link below saying open in Nokia camera. How come pics have that link and others don't? I took some smartcam pics too look at later and can't open it up and do the action shots and other stuff.
I already installed Camera Extras app on my Lumia 800, but when I try to use one of its features the camera format switch automatically to 4:3 format. Is anybody who knows about this bug ?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought my Lumia 820 a few days back, and after having a few set-up quirks, things seem to be going quite well.I can only see one problem left, and that's as the When I connect the phone up to the PC (running Windows XP SP3), and having Nokia Suite 3.6.36 running, it comes up telling me that the phone is 'connected in a non-compatible USB mode', preventing me from doing anything in Nokia Suite.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI want to use the 'sequence' image capture mode of the camera to take images at a defined time interval. If I use the sequence mode the 5800 camera shoots a series of photos fast. I want to adjust this time interval. The Nokia 5800 user manual says that this is possible by selecting the desired time interval.

However I am not seeing any such option for adjusting the time interval in the settings! Has anyone used this functionality? How do I set the time interval between sequenced image captures?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI know that with my old Windows Phone 7, the menu was broken down in sections by the starting letter of the app (So it would say "A" and beneath it were all the A apps.) Currently, my menu list is just a list--no letter headings, so you can't push on say, S, and zip down to the S apps. (Kind of how you find people on the Facebook app.)I am not articulating this well, but do you know if there is a way to jump to a particular letter in the 920? Right now, I just have a long list of apps, which is time consuming.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI just want to share my experience with you.I've been using an unlocked Lumia 800 for a week now and I actually like the phone, however these camera problems are just unacceptable.
The camera has SERIOUS white balance problems, and, for me the most important, the auto-focus is just ridiculous. It works bad, but focusing on "macro" objects is just a no go, even usin the touch focus or the "macro" focus mode. Another problem is the lens flare, which reflects how bad these optics might be. You really think that the Carl Zeiss branded optics anything here? Think again. My HTC Incredible S, with its "OEM" optics, (or the Iphone 4S or the SII) just humiliates this camera. Also, is that so hard to make a green square focus confirmarion?
How can they release a flagship device, with this price range, with these problems? No wonder why Nokia is where it is standing now, "almost" in a closing-doors status. They really need better engineers and programmers because everytime they let this happen with a device, they're tossing away their valuable customers. And they really deserve it.
And as I've been reading, the Lumia 900 is having the same problems... How sad is this?
