Lumia 1020 :: Any Way To Make More Close Macro Shots?
Jan 12, 2014
Well i know its not possible to get focus shorter than 15 cm with 1020, but when you try to focus an closer thing, in a second it gets the focus, and then loses it. So i was thinking here, if there is any trick to shorter this distance.
I dropped my phone from my car and now the macro setting doesn't work. and it doesn't autofocus. :( I have warranty except I did the gdr3 update. lol...
I am currently using L1020 with w10 tp 10080 update. I used the tp version for 1 week and it works so good. It just that happened that when I hard reset my phone today(May 28, 2015), and launched the default camera, it freezed, so I tried the soft reset. After that, I launched the default camera again then it says "something went wrong" then I noticed that the shutter of my camera won't close and the camera part became hotter and hotter. So I tried to make a soft reset again but it don't work ... Trying the hard reset won't work also.
My new 1020 doesn't seem to focus on (especially) close-up objects ! Everytimes i tap on the subjects to focus (close-up / macro), the camera unable to lock the focus ! Is it normal for 1020 or manufacturing defect ?
I'm getting blurred images in macro mode or when the object is close and the camera app is failing to recognize close objects conssistently. I've tried repairing my phone but no dice. The issue is greater in case of small objects, eg flowers, etc and the camera doesn't even focus properly on it, resulting in abrupt and blur images.
Enjoying my Lumia 1020. Since one month.i love the,new nokia mix radio aka nokia music.but how do,i make the playlist on the phone.coz wen i go,to,playlist it,tells me,to,connect to,comp to,do it.
My Lumia 1020 windows phone 8 screen won't go dark while it is charging. When I plug it in, it goes to the lock screen, then it dims, and then goes to just showing the clock and the charging symbol, but it never goes fully dark. I charge the phone at night, and I use it for an alarm, so I charge it in the bedroom. I'd like it to go dark after a few minutes, so that it isn't lighting up my bedroom all night.
I am a new Lumia 1520 owner and had been using an iPhone prior. On iPhone, I could take a screen shot just by pressing two buttons simultaneously and it would do so. With the Lumia, it seems I can only save a photo that's displaying on my screen. But what if I wanna take a screen shot of a text message conversation.
How many photos can you take on a single charge (say from 100% to 15%) Living images and rich capture off, most or all services off like cellular, wifi, bluetooth..There is a new blog on the devices blog which says Mr. Stephen was taking about 1000 photos a day using the lumia 950 and 950Xl. I find that hard to believe. URL...
For example, using my lumia 1020, the most I have been able was 280 photos of 5+38/34 JPEG with flight mode on and GPS on - battery down from 100 to 15%
new owner of the 920. Not yet proud of it though. How come there is no macro mode for the camera? The close-up "scenes" has trouble focusing things 6 inches away.
i'm on my second white 920, returned the first due to battery issues. i've started playing with the camera and noticed that it does not take low light photos well. i tried taking photos in a dark room, using default settings and focus assist light on and the end result is dark photo with barely anything visible (see attached).
is anyone else having this problem with the camera sensor in low or almost no light situations? i've seen it demoed on Internet a few times where people take photos in very low or almost no light situations and they've gotten pretty good results. but for me, i'm not getting anything visible in my photos.
I just bought Lumia 710 and I don't understand why isn't there an option to close an app and why do I have to press the back button as many times as needed to close an app. Are you planning to create this option with the 7.8 update?
Otherwise, together with the miserable battery performance, I'm thinking on returning this phone.
1. If I am using the NokiaDrive, and want to ensure that i stop the application, and stop the navigation how can i confirm this? 2. How can i see the open application at any point in time? 3. If I called someone, and moved to other menu, and meanwhile I want to close the call. How can I ensure if the call is over. In earlier Nokia (symbian) mobiles there were two button a red and a green, which could be used to close the call if you weren't sure. Any such hard/generic button?
Just noticed an odd behavior - if I have Groove open in the background (and a few others like News, Weather, etc), when I plug in the USB wall charger, the apps close. Some stay open though. But Groove definitely closes.
I have for example 5 different applications open at ones on my phone, can I close them all at the same time, like on the old Symbian platform ? Or do I have to inside each one of them and do back, back and back forever?
Am I missing something or does the Lumia 950/Windows 10 Mobile camera have no close up setting? In the past, as with all digital cameras, there was a "flower" icon that allowed the camera to focus on close up objects. I can't find said icon and the camera struggles to focus on anything close
Is it possible to close the keyboard from the screen while writing an email? This should be a option since it is quite hard to check the finished mail when almost all of the screen is full of keyboard. It would be much easier to write emails with this option.
apparently hitting the home icon on the phone does not close an application necessarily. How do you find out what is running? And how do you close them for good?
I've bought a lumia 710 a month a go, and i'm pretty happy with it, but i have a question: why there is no way to close the internet Explorer app with a single touch? The only way to close de app is by pushing the back button, but this is really anoying if you have went trough a lot of pages..
i bought nokia lumia 900 in this thursday 5 july 2012
sometimes i started a game buy using xbox live it is so difficult to close when i press the back button (to close the game/apps)it straight pop out the multitasking screen (which should only appear only when holding the Back button) and i choose the app i wish to close agianbut same thing happensometime even worst when i only open one game/appit cannot be close and cannot go back to home screenbecause when i press the Home button (when the game/apps running) the window Tellme pop out ........
I'm using a Nokia Lumia 610 handset. After I browse a lot, when I have to close IE, I need to click the "back" key many times to go to first page I visited. Only then the browser closes. Is there a faster way to close the browser ?
I feel difficult to take a picture with macro mod by default camera. When I try to shoot closely something, it just appears a text "macro" and focus clearly to the object (macro) but shortly, I can't capture quick. I also use "fast burst camera" but it even not focus everything closely as macro mod. How I take a macro picture properly ??
I have tried the button combinations on the back and i've tried the quick memo way, but nothing seems to do it, i use screen shot a lot and this is really annoying ....
I'm a HDR photo beginner - I just took my first hdr photos - It took the 3 photos but didnt 'put them together' is the best way to describe it. I can see the a, b,c files of each 'photo' but cant open them up in any type of program and see any actual photos.
It is tedious to keep entering the same ID and password when entering a site I often need to access. Those of us old enough to have used DOS based programs could easily create macros that would type out a series of keystrokes by entering a 2 stoke command.(I would assume this could be done in Windows based programs but never learned how.)Can a macro be created on a BB.I have a 9700, if that makes a diff.Just thought of a kludgey way. Enter the keystrokes and store them in the note pad.Go to note pad, do a copy, then a paste. You would have to do this twice.More trouble than its worth.
The main camera always goes into macro mode when selected. The selfie camera works fine. But for interim shots the main camera selects macro and the the flash comes on permanently. Phone will then only respond to On/Off button.
