Nokia :: E 72 Poor Quality Of Camera - Keep Asking To Choose Shooting Mode When Choose Snap Mode
Jul 12, 2010
I have just upgraded my Nokia N73 to the E72 and am very very disappointed with the picture quality of the camera.
It does not appear to be the same quality as the Carl Zeiss lens of my old N73 and many pictures seem to be out of focus. It has annoying habit of when i try to take a quick snap of continually asking me to chose a shooting mode and the therefore the moment has gone. I also use this camera function for my work and unless I can find advice on taking better quality pics then it will have to go back.Is mine a faulty unit or is there a knack of taking a picture without the camera moving which I think is causing part of the problems.
I have an N8 which has 3 options for network mode - dual mode, 3G or GSM.I have absolutely no idea what any of these mean or what to select !The reason for my question is that I had to put my sim card into another phone for a couple of days and now I've put it back I cannot send texts or make any calls - I can receive them and get on the internet but that's it so I was wondering whether the network mode option has any effect?
I have had my Lumia 900 for almost 3 days, and I am extremely impressed with the build quality and design. Definitely an upgrade from my Focus. However, there are a few things that are still buggy.
1. The camera doesn't correctly choose the right scene, so the veiwfinder is very blue when using the camera, but it looks perfect once the picture has been taken.
2. Pressing the hardware camera button while the phone is locked doesn't always launch the camera like it should. Especially trying to do so immediately after the phone is locked.
3. The battery dies extremely fast once the battery saver mode turns on.
4. The critical battery notification occurs at roughly 15% when as my Focus did it at around 5%, which was much more helpful.
5. When the battery died on my Lumia, it didn't leave enough battery to shut the device down, it got to 0% and then the phone froze for about a minute then when black, no goodbye screen. Then, when I tried to charge it, it was plugged up for about 5 minutes before the battery meter appeared saying the battery was too low to start the phone. During that five minutes, the hardware buttons were glowing, and holding the power button had no effect.
I have a Xperia Z3 +. After the latest update of Android's camera my device in manual and automatic shooting mode is out of context and Zoom, I can only use other capture modes and some applications that take pictures.
I bought a new n97 mini. Everything is working fine except the camera. The image looks foggy and blurred. Its not only with the camera pictures but also with the video recordings. When I do a half-press (focus), the preview looks decent but the picture taken is bad. Looks like a picture taken in a 1MP cam! I have tested some N97 mini's camera in some shops and I was impressed. Hence I brought it. But unfortunately it looks like a problem in my mobile!
Any help would be greatly appreciated. My main usage is Camera and its very frustrating to see images with such bad quality!
I had windows 7 SP1 and PC suite is Version 22.214.171.124 last weekend I got my new Nokia 7230 than I installed PC Suite and my Bluetoothstick first I got this message without choosing connection Now I can't choose the art of connection?
Can someone tell me is there any software that can help me to choose certaint connection speed on WP(nokia920)? 2g/3g/4g... Not the MAX speed but i want to choose to stay on 3G all the time ( even if there is no 3g coverage )For example in my city mobile coverage is realy bad and my phone continuously jumps between 2g and 3g and that eats my battery in 1 day. When I choose max speed 2g my phone lives for 3-4+ dayz ( but 2g is realy slow... )On my nokia e6 i can choose 2g or 3g so it wasnt a problem on previous platforms ( symbian )

poor quality of the pictures and video that come off the Bionic? This came up in a review at PhoneScoop.com as well. I have comparred the photos and videos taken off of the Bionic to my wife's HTC Rezound and the Rezound pictures are far superior? The Bionic produces pictures with very little contrast and performs badly in low light conditions. The Bionic also produces a white haze around the borders of pictures in some photos. See photo below. I am wondering if this is a defective camera or a problem on all bionics?
When my phone went in for repairs they upgraded my OS to 7.1 and now I cannot force change to 2G network mode.I can only choose 3G or 3G and 2G. There is no option for plain 2G like the old OS had.The reason I need to change to 2G is that the 3G coverage at home is not good at all and 2G is better, even though it's slow, it doesn't drop like 3G.Is my only option to downgrade my OS?
My s6 keeps periodically prompting me to choose a default launcher. Phone worked fine yesterday and now today all of a sudden it can't remember what launcher I set as a preference. Periodically when I press the home button I am asked to choose between the normal touchwhiz launcher and the touchwhiz easy launcher. It is pretty annoying. I have no 3rd party launchersupplies installed I just don't understand.

I've recently manually updated my phone's rom and it wiped off system data in the process.
Now during the first setup screens that you get the first time you start up the phone, I accidentally skipped the dropbox logon bit which would have triggered HTC backup to restore my previous phone settings from dropbox.
After realizing that, I setup my dropbox account but instead of using my existing backup it created a new backup folder.
So now I'm trying to figure out how I can get my phone to restore from my old backup folder on dropbox instead of the new one.
I've tried various ways and if I tamper with the new backup folder HTC refuses to backup from it saying the folder has been modified.
I recently upgraded my 9700 to 126.96.36.1995. Ever since then, my ring tones have been kinda' messed up. First off, when I upgraded it changed all my ring tones which is fine because I remember them all. But now when I go to change them, it only let's me choose music as ring tones. All the standard ones that came with the phone are missing, and those are what I was using. Is anyone else experiencing this problem or know how to fix it? I don't like the ring tones it's using and would really like to change them back to what they were.
When I go into Wi-Fi Networks under Settings, the Choose a Network doesn't show any networks - just a spinning circle every few seconds, but nothing comes up. My network used to show up here with a check next to it. The bars at the top of the phone show I am connected to Wi-Fi (I am on my network ok), but in Settings it shows Wi-Fi is Not Connected. I have Reset my phone, but it didn't fix it. I am reluctant to Reset Network setting because I won't be able to choose a network if none are showing up.
On my Blackberry Bold 9650 - I am unable to get to the menu to setup my e-mail. I choose the Setup App. When I choose the Email Accounts icon nothing happens! If I try to exit this App, the phone freezes & I am unable to access it & have to shut down the phone. I always have to back out of this APP. I took it to a Verizon Wireless technician & they say they are unable to determine the problem.
I've had my HTC Desire S for 14 days now and there is one thing in particular which I haven't been able to figure out:when I am writing a text message (sms, is it called that in english speaking countries?) using the T9 dictionary/input method (and the phone keyboard of course) I am presented with a number of words which could match the pressed keys. Fx. "4663" lets me choose between "Home", "Imod", "Hood", "Good" ect. Lets say I either forgot to choose a word and just went along with the default optione "Home" or actually wrongfully choose "Home" when I really wanted "Good".How do I get to choose again? Of course you could place the cursor behind the word, delete a few chars and then get the suggestions again, but it seems down right stupid that you cannot press and hold the word or similar to get the suggestions once more.
