I have a Xperia Z3 +. After the latest update of Android's camera my device in manual and automatic shooting mode is out of context and Zoom, I can only use other capture modes and some applications that take pictures.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded my Nokia N73 to the E72 and am very very disappointed with the picture quality of the camera.
It does not appear to be the same quality as the Carl Zeiss lens of my old N73 and many pictures seem to be out of focus. It has annoying habit of when i try to take a quick snap of continually asking me to chose a shooting mode and the therefore the moment has gone. I also use this camera function for my work and unless I can find advice on taking better quality pics then it will have to go back.Is mine a faulty unit or is there a knack of taking a picture without the camera moving which I think is causing part of the problems.

View 9 Replies View RelatedUpdated my Xperia Neo V with PCCompanion to Android 4.0.4 and when trying to use Skype I noticed that the videoconference works but only with the back camara. I see the other person on the screen but I have to turn the phone around so they can see me.
Front camara worked great before this update perfectly. Looked at a couple of other posts around internet but the only response is to go in the camara options and select front camara... but it isn't there anymore since update.
Rest of the phone seems to work ok, only issue I've found is this with the front camara. Read a post about using: [URL] Haven't tried it but will it affect the phone since it's an English version download?
I followed all the instructions on updating to Android 2.1 and I did not have any error messages in the process. When I boot my X10, I am still at Android 1.6. Worse yet, the backup/restore application does not restore everything. I have to reconfigure my main screens and the worse of it is my Touchdown client needs to be reconfigured for exchange sync and I have to reconfigure it and re-download everything again. View 19 Replies View RelatedA friend is having troubles with his Z3 : He used to take pictures with the quick camera launch button, but since a recent camera or system update, when he use this button, the camera is set to automatic mode instead of manual, with poor resolution and quality settings. If he launches the camera with the standard button from the phone menu, everything is fine and perfectly set up.
When the camera is used from the quick button and set back to the correct quality settings and manual mode, after closing it, it goes back to auto mode with bad settings. Same thing when he slides the camera icon from the locked screen. The only way to get the proper settings when launching the camera is to use the icon from the phone's menu.
He tried a lot of things, from uninstalling the camera updates to searching everywhere on the internet, there is no information or messages about this problem.
So I flashed the final build of Lollipop on my Nexus 5, worked great for the first couple of days, now I'm getting a camera error, saying failed to connect to the camera. This only happens with the front-facing camera, and it works fine after a reboot but problem comes back after a day or two.
Back when I had an S3, the same thing would happen, but with the rear camera, I thought it was a hardware issue but now I'm thinking maybe not, since it's happening right after flashing a new OS this time (can't remember if the problem on my S3 was after an OTA, or maybe after rooting and going custom ROM)
I noticed an update installation after I restarted my Xperia Z3. Unfortunately after phone booted I cannot pull down status bar. But is accessible when the screen is locked. The phone is running Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.

The sequence of events is as such. My wife bought her phone brand new in Budapest, Hungary while on her way to where we live now (New Caledonia, South Pacific). She had the phone unlocked there (at the store in Budapest) and it had worked splendidly here for six months. We never altered the phone in anyway – stock operating system, one or two minor OTA updates to get the phone to Android 4.4.2 and Sense to 5.0 or 6.0 (I think it was) but nothing like rooting or flashing another ROM. She was checking daily to see when Lollipop was available and, while I was away on duty travel unfortunately, it was suddenly there. She did the download, told the phone to go ahead and update and that was where things went completely south.
By the time she emailed me to tell me her phone no longer worked, she had tried several things such as Recovery and Factory reset, etc. If the phone is put into Recovery mode (from the Bootloader screen – the one with three android figures at the bottom) it just cycles non stop from the red triangle to white screens and back to the red triangle and the only thing you can do to then phone is press Volume up and Power button to get the “Android System Recovery” screen. I have tried to execute all five of commands on that screen – “apply from sd card”, “apply from phone storage” … “wipe cache partition” but the end result is always the same – just an endless red triangle to white screen non stop until the battery dies.
On the Android system Recovery screen, there is a consistent error message “Mount SDCARD failed 1 times” (and then … failed 2/3/4/5 times), followed by “Can not mount SD Card (No such file or directory). So, to recap, anything I try to do from the Bootloader screen leads to the Red Triangle/white screen cycling which can be interrupted ONLY by Volume Up/Power buttons (not by Volume Down/Power buttons) which gives the Android System Recovery screen and all of those options also lead to the Red Triangle/White screen loop. Also, and probably very importantly, it doesn’t seem that my computer can “see” the HTC when plugged in .. at least it doesn’t show up in the traditional way it used to when plugged in via USB cable.
How I can get the alarm to sound when the phone is is do not disturb? I found a whole thread on it for the samsung but can't find one for the lg g3, I'm using the lg g3s.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI updated before to OA2 5.0 Lollipop and i experienced the camera failed issue. The screen is just black when launching camera app then it crashes. A simple restart fixes things but it re-occurs once in a while.
I updated last 2 weeks on latest build OD3 and device seemed fine until now. I again experienced camera failure and needs to restart the device everytime.
It seems very random and i dont know what the culprit is. Its getting annoying. +

Those pictures which i shoot was looking very hazy, you can say fuzzy also. It really downgraded the camera quality. This happened both when I tap the screen, tap the video button, or press the camera button on the side.
