BB Bold :: 9780 - Sends Half Finished Texts & Opens Icon?
Jan 4, 2012So my Bold 9780 has been acting very weird lately. And for some reason I think it has somethign to do with BB Protect. It wanted to do an update while I was in a wifi zone and then thigns started going wrong from that day.So what happens is i'll be scanning thru the icons and they'll just open without me clicking on them. Also, when texting or using bbm, my msg will send without me clicking send. So I will be half done a msg and it'll send. Finally, I've tried to battery out, restore, and all those classic quick fix optoins and they haven't worked.

Lumia 1020 :: Camera Never Opens - Just Boots Out
Jun 4, 2015This just started happening today. I have had my phone (Lumia 1020) for less that a year. At the beginning of the week I had the blue screen of death (boot configuration error) - and had to re-install the software- which I did successfully a few days ago. All was good... The camera worked for a few days and then boom- as of today it just boots me back to the start screen when I go to take a pic.

Sep 9, 2011Since my N8-00 has been upgraded to Symbian Anna, a single SMS message is billed multiple times.Now and then a simple SMS (within the constraints of a single SMS, without any special letters) shows up on my bill as if it was send 2 (sometimes even 3) times. Each time there is a delay of exactly 3 seconds between them.It seems as if the communication between the phone and the SIM card or the cell tower causes the phone to attempt sending the SMS multiple times, while actually each time it tries, the attempt is marked as sent and consecutively shows up on the bill.Because this problem has only been occuring since the upgrade to Symbian Anna, I suspect a software bug to be the problem.The receiver phone gets only 1 SMS as he/she is supposed to.

Jun 16, 2012The clock of my Lumia 800 runs too fast, in a week or two, it will be 3-4 minutes ahead of time, and in a month it's already 5 minutes, this is just unacceptable. The difference gain slows down with time so to keep it within a minute I need to set the time very often (weekly).
I've tried using manual time, and automatic, both of which don't help the problem, and it seems the automatic time option doesn't even work since no matter what time you set, when you switch it to automatic, it doesn't do anything. To be honest, I'm a little disappointed by the support this phone has gotten since it's release, especially with the firmware updates.

Dec 1, 2012I've purchased Lumia 920 and got problem with connection to the internet. Smartphone works perfectly via WiFi, but doesn't get connection to net via operator's 3G (my tariff is supporting mobile internet). Operator - Russian MTS. At operator's site i checked all internet setting and set up they accordingly. But it doesn't work... 920 doesn't connect at all - Internet Explorer can't connect to any URL. In smartphone settings i've allow data transfer via operator. Doesn't work.A week ago i took smartphone to service center, engineers confirmed problem. Repair took a week. They updated firmware. Today i got my 920 back, inserted sim and still have no internet.

Peculiarly it seems to send at least 10 copies of every image.I'm watching it do it right now - uploading goes up to 100%, shows just one picture uploading. Then resets to 0% and starts it all over again.Status shows 1 pending, 0 failed permanently (unless I delete the upload).

Apr 19, 2010i have connection to internet via my home wlan. e52 can connect to it and when i choose a web page it will open it. but if select a link in a page and try to open that nothing happens. same thing when i try the preconfigured links for the facebook and Internet. i can open the first page, but i cannot login to the facebook. i have to close the connection and type in directly the page where i want to go. i cannot use any links within the web pages.

Apr 24, 2012I was able to charge my lumia 900 with my car (Toyota Prius 2010) USB until the latest firmware upgrade. Only catch was to use original cable came along with phone. It didn't accept any other micro USB cables. But after the latest update even the original cable doesn't work! All the cables works well to charge the phone when connected to laptop. I am having hard time using it as i frequently travel.Ideally i should be able to charge with any micro USB cable in the car. Could you guys suggest any workarounds or fixes?Not to mention my iPhone was perfect in USB recharge though it is a slow recharge.

Anyways, I can make calls and receive calls, and have tested this out numerous times. However when I go to send or receive texts, it shows them as sent, but the other person does not get a text, and vice versa. Nov 16, 2012my Lumia 920 has problems with internet sharing. It will work for a couple of minutes. And then it will not work. It won't work again till I reset the phone. After a reset. It will only work for a couple of minutes. I called att support and they told me I probably have a bad phone and to bring it back. Does anyone else have issues with internet sharing? I tried some stuff I found on the internet to fix this. Downloaded the Spanish language keyboards. To no avail.
