On a 5230, I've tried out sending photos to flickr. Peculiarly it seems to send at least 10 copies of every image.I'm watching it do it right now - uploading goes up to 100%, shows just one picture uploading. Then resets to 0% and starts it all over again.Status shows 1 pending, 0 failed permanently (unless I delete the upload).
View 4 RepliesSince my N8-00 has been upgraded to Symbian Anna, a single SMS message is billed multiple times.Now and then a simple SMS (within the constraints of a single SMS, without any special letters) shows up on my bill as if it was send 2 (sometimes even 3) times. Each time there is a delay of exactly 3 seconds between them.It seems as if the communication between the phone and the SIM card or the cell tower causes the phone to attempt sending the SMS multiple times, while actually each time it tries, the attempt is marked as sent and consecutively shows up on the bill.Because this problem has only been occuring since the upgrade to Symbian Anna, I suspect a software bug to be the problem.The receiver phone gets only 1 SMS as he/she is supposed to.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI use notes quite frequently to write down ideas. Everytime I start the app and add to a note, another copy of the note is saved. It's getting so I have 10 and 12 copies of some notes.
I do not have sync notes on iTunes checked and I don't think it's happening becasue of my iCloud backup becasue I have notes switched OFF.
I've noticed that everytime you install Zumocast and setup your server, it gets added to the left Pane of your Zumocast Server.I now have 4 copies of my server as I have re-installed Zumocast serval times. Is there a way to clear out the old in-active servers?

I just received 10..10 copies of the same SMS. This is not a one off occurrence either. Almost daily I receive multiple copies of the same message. I know I'm on a Droid 2 and am due for a much needed upgrade but am trying to hold out for a Droid 5 (if there is even to be one). In other words I'll probably wait until the beginning of 2013 before I pull the trigger on a new phone. Is it safe to say there are no more software updates coming? I know it won't be ICS or anything but any bug fixes? The last time I reset my phone was approximately 60 hours ago, it just froze so had to hard reset.

For instance, I will get as many as five or six copies of the exact same message within a few minutes of each other. The people who are texting me are only sending the message once, so I assumed the problem was on my end. I reset the phone about three times per week, but the problem does not improve or get worse. I have even pulled the battery after it happens, but it continues after it reboots.

When sending sms on my Sprint 4s it sometimes sends multiple messages when I use less than 160 characters, by splitting them up. Sometimes the second text is just one word. This happens when I send messages to people on both Sprint and other carriers. When sending the message my 4s makes the sound of sending more than one message as if I had typed over the 160 character limit. How can I stop this??

But my Nokia 5230 constantly connects online of its own accord, I go to settings, then connection manager and switch it off but sure enough it connects again without me having done anything.Any idea how I stop this as it is costing me money that I can ill afford.

I created a flickr account and the phone successfully connected to it but now I simply cannot stop uploading. It uploads the same pic again again and again! I tried to disconnect the phone from the net but it reconnects instantly. I tried to reboot the phone but it starts uploading after switching on. Now I went to offline mode but the phone asking me to create WLAN connection.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy 822 is duplicating music, videos & pictures. I have 10-12 copies of some songs & pictures. It stops duplicating videos at 3 copies. It does not do it with all music, photo's or videos, so I do not think it is a card issue. I have a new Sandisk 64gb class 10 card that I formatted with this phone. Photo's music & videos were loaded to card through the phone by hooking up cable to windows 7 computer drag & drop/cut & paste. I can delete extra pictures, but I cannot delete extra videos or music. If you delete one of the copies, none of them will play. When you delete photos, there will be new copies by the next day. Have had this phone since the release at Verizon... Like the phone, but the video playback is very choppy & these duplicating issues are insane.
