Nokia :: How To Use Navi Wheel?
Mar 9, 2010Apparently the Nokia X3 has Navi Wheel support but i cant seem to get it to work, anyone else having the same problem or know how to get it to work?

Nokia Accessories :: CK-100 Wont Turn On - Navi Wheel Is Not Coming On Anymore?
Dec 12, 2011I bought an XR6 Turbo with a CK-100 installed, has been working great for 6 months but stopped working yesterday, I've checked all the power wires and the red wire has 12v, blue has 12v, and the yellow wire has 4.8v.
The light on the Navi wheel is not coming on anymore. I've tried holding the button in etc, normally it just turns on with the key but it's not working anymore.

Mar 23, 2010I just bought the 6760 slide and when it is closed there is a glowing light that constantly goes on and off around the navi keys. I am sure this is draining the battery but have no idea how to turn it off. Any help would be much appreciated thank you!

Apr 25, 2010Right so Ovi Suite 2.1 doesn't appear to do anything with maps Maps Updater complains about another instance being active (have to kill NokiaMServer.exe process) and then can't find my phone via BT (Ovi can) Moreover, what does Maps Updater do? Does it update the maps, update the map sw? I can Never remember And what about Map Loader? Does that install new maps to the device, or update the Map sw? Wouldn't you expect that whichever sw is used to download new maps would also be able to check if there are newer versions available? And the amazing Ovi Suite (sarcasm) doesn't this do anything with Maps? Who knows... And free navigation for the N79??? Status? Will this ever be supported? The applications may as well be written in Finnish, because I sure as heck can't figure it out (BTW Helsinki is a lovely city though and the ppl are friendly, but a guy I met there with a N97 said he hated the darned thing and would be upgrading to an iPhone asap)

Aug 17, 20111) I am in India and am using the Nokia E5-00 just now. I was using Nokia 2690 earlier. Why does the E5 NAVI key not have shortcuts like the earlier phones? In earlier phones you could configure the NAVI key for shortcuts to Radio, Camera, etc. Is that possible in E5?2) When I press the Call Key, the E5 does not show me the latest calls made. For that I am forced to go to Call Log. Is there a way I can configure that?

Jun 2, 2011I've had my e71 for several months now and I didn't even know that it hada a special navigation button, I only used it to select thing, never as a mouse pad.I found out through a friend that has an e72 that the button does work for scrolling. However mine doesn't, I tried looking for how to activate it in the setup but could find anything.

Feb 27, 2010Even if I select "high" sensitivity for optical navi key, it is too slow for me. I can only move 2 icons once a time. I think it is too slow compared to "blackberry"s trackpad. I have to touch too many times for moving long distances especially browsing web. It's sensitivity should be increased or there should be more sensitivity levels. The difference between 3 sensitivity levels does not differ so much.
Maybe my optical navi key is malfunctioned? Can you comment your experiences with optical navi key?

Jun 5, 2014New iPhone 5S, I noticed a spinning wheel just to the left of the battery indicator. Any search on spinning wheel turns up threads about a spinning wheel next to the WiFi indicator, which is not the spinning wheel I'm seeing. Â
I've gone through my settings and disabled anything automatic and background thinking that the wheel was caused by an app processing data in the background but nothing seems to have worked. Of course my concern is that the phone is doing something and will effect either my data usage or the battery usage.Â

Jun 15, 2015I've just got a new z3 and am slightly frustrated with the messages. It's taking up to 15 seconds to open up a conversation, it took 8 seconds to open a conversation I started today with 18 messages in it.
Is this normal? I just get the spinning wheel with 'opening conversation'.I've coke from an iPhone and it only ever took time to open after a restart.If this isn't normal (I'm hopping it's not) hoew can i fix this?
IPhone :: Personal Hotspot Wheel Keeps Spinning
Apr 3, 2012I think I may have found the issue with everyone's battery life... It seems that when your cellular data network is active your personal hotspot will constantly be doing something... Even if like me, you don't have that covered on your plan. I know that it's not actually set up because I can't see it on my other devices, but it's killing my battery SO fast... I found some temporary solutions like, resetting your netword settings, or turnin off your phone popping out the sim card then putting it back in and turning it on... But as soon as you disable the cellular data network or put your phone in airplane mode an then turn it back on... The personal hotpot will just keep spinning..
And I have been looking around for fixes and came across one person that said, "it's like a fridge when you open the door the ligh comes on and when you close it it goes off" meaning that when I look at the network tab it will spin, but when I'm not looking at it, it's actually doing nothing... This isn't the case cause I left it on one day just to check and:
With it off at 40%
Usage: 5 hours 20 mins
Standby: 20
With it on at 40%
Usage: 2 hours
Standby: 7 hours
As you can see, there is a significant impact on battery life

Feb 18, 2010I had recently jailbroken my phone and it was working perfectly fine.
I download Installous from Cydia and installed many cracked apps (about 20). I was using one of them one day when all of a sudden, the iPhone froze.
I did a hard reboot and I turned it back on. All I saw after that was the apple logo, then the black screen before the password screen, and then the apple logo again with the spinning wheel. This pattern continued for a while. I tried several more hard reboots but the same problem continued.
I connected it to my computer and then tried turning it on and it worked for a while. I used the same app and the phone worked fine. However, when I locked my phone after that and tried to put my password in later, the phone froze. I did a hard reboot and the same pattern of logo, black, then logo w/ spinning wheel occurred.
Please help me. How do I fix this problem without doing an iTunes restore (I stupidly didn't back anything up.

Jan 20, 2010I know this is everywhere, but my case is different. I had problems with my lockscreen which never turned off. I went to another forum and asked for tips, they said to Reset All settings (not erase all content). I did that, and guess what, it is stuck in the apple logo and sometimes with the spinning wheel. Now I CANNOT go into DFU mode because I do not have a backup of anything and if I restore im screwed and all my apps, contact, etc. will go away. I have access to the iPhone system folders (iFunbox, diskaid, etc.)
