1) I am in India and am using the Nokia E5-00 just now. I was using Nokia 2690 earlier. Why does the E5 NAVI key not have shortcuts like the earlier phones? In earlier phones you could configure the NAVI key for shortcuts to Radio, Camera, etc. Is that possible in E5?2) When I press the Call Key, the E5 does not show me the latest calls made. For that I am forced to go to Call Log. Is there a way I can configure that?

View 16 Replies View RelatedI've had my e71 for several months now and I didn't even know that it hada a special navigation button, I only used it to select thing, never as a mouse pad.I found out through a friend that has an e72 that the button does work for scrolling. However mine doesn't, I tried looking for how to activate it in the setup but could find anything.
View 5 Replies View RelatedEven if I select "high" sensitivity for optical navi key, it is too slow for me. I can only move 2 icons once a time. I think it is too slow compared to "blackberry"s trackpad. I have to touch too many times for moving long distances especially browsing web. It's sensitivity should be increased or there should be more sensitivity levels. The difference between 3 sensitivity levels does not differ so much.
Maybe my optical navi key is malfunctioned? Can you comment your experiences with optical navi key?

So I decided to reboot my E72 and it didn't want anymore to start. So I removed my SD, and tried again but I had the Nokia welcome screen and after a few minutes a white screen which empty my battery. I tried factory reset and reinstall software but still can not change. I have to enter lock code after every 30 mins phone unuse.
After update to Belle I have been getting more and more "Phone start-up failed. Contact the retailer." messages.I had thought these were associated with a theme I had installed, but it started happening with the default theme.My phone is borderline unusable.

But whenever i plugin with the usb and try playing the sound, it works find playing it on the phone speaker.
Even when someone is calling, the tones wont work....
my e63 keeps showing the error message 'phone memory full'.file manager says that 119mb are in use, but i can't 'see' the files that are taking up all this space.i've deleted surplus applications like Internet - but could someone possibly suggest how to free up more space? i don't think it's being taken up by emails or text messages (121kb) either.i would prefer not to format the memory, just delete whatever is taking up the 119mb.

How can I determine which application or data is using storage memory? There are no movies, music or other "big" files copied to the phone (as far as I know). The only thing I know is "maps". From my experience with E90 and E71 all available maps need about 8GB space, this should fit to a E7 with 16GB

View 2 Replies View Relatedmy nokia e71x recently started giving me a very static-y signal when making or receiving calls. my voice apparently sounds fine to whoever i'm talking to but what i hear in the earpiece is full of static, as if the signal is very weak. this is happening no matter where i am (even in places where i know the signal is strong). i'm in new york city. the speaker appears to be ok when doing other things, e.g. watching video clips on Internet. it's just phone calls that sound **bleep**.this just started in the last few days. it's possible the phone was exposed to heat, sand and (maybe) water as we were recently on vacation, but other than the bad sound everything works and looks fine.my contract is about up so i may just replace it anyway, but i'd like to know if this is fixable. i tried removing the battery and sim card, making sure all were clean and dry and putting them back.
