just got my nokia e5 for less than a week now, and i've noticed a couple of times that while i'm in the middle of an internet session my phone just freezes and then reboots by itself.
View 1 RepliesI'm currently using E72-1 , V 031.023 Alot of times, when i get an incoming calls, my phone freezes once i click the accept button, it freezes for like 20 seconds, then either accepts the call, or hangs up. Also, when i dial a number using the keypad, there is a delay, like, it takes 1-3 seconds between each number i press to display on the screen. I tried soft resetting, hard resetting, both fixes the issue for the 1st few hours, then both issues happen agai

View 1 Replies View RelatedCame back home and rebooted it while it was connected to the charger. Now it won't start. It starts to boot, plays the Nokia hand shake video clip then freezes. I've tried rebooting it while the charger is connected, removed the battery, put it back...everything! Seriously. This is a new phone.Language edited by a moderator.Please show some respect not only to Nokia but also to the user(s) who came here seeking a workable solution for the problems with their Nokia devices.
View 3 Replies View RelatedVery often when i receive an SMS , my E72 freezes. The only way to recover from this is to turn phone off and on again.It looks like it happens when the sender is not in my phone-book .. and there is only a 'number' mentioned in 'From'.
(although i still can't update .. because the update for Vodafone branded phones is not available yet ... another BIG let down if u ask me .. Nokia should control this better).I don't know where I can report this problem. Nokia Care employees only know whats in their calling-script.
I have an E71, and about once a day I get this message saying "insert SIM card." This hasnt happened ever not until just maybe a week or 2 ago. It happens almost daily and I have to restart the phone.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have a curve 9300 3G and it has a rebooting problem. it freezes momentarily then reboots when it gets a phone call and only sometimes reboots when you get a BBM or text. Also when you move the track pad too fast I've gone to a small phone specialist and he did whatever to it but it still isn't working, battery isn't loose and it doesn't need a software update.

Currently I have G920FXXU2BOFJ Baseband and it constantly crashes, even without doing anything. The crashes/reboots are completely random and very annoying. I have tried to update the firmware to a latest version from France (which had some updates for Android 5.1.1, file name G920FXXU2BOG8_G920FOXA2BOG8_XEF) but the problem persists.
Trying to revert the firmware to the original I made a mess so I'm currently using Smart Switch as I write to recover the phone from the dead. I thought it was a hardware problem, but I can leave the phone in Download Mode for as long as I want without issues (not very useful as a smartphone that way though ) However, even in the Wipe Data/Cache mode it still freezes.
I've had xyboard 10.1 since Christmas and I absolutely love it but I am starting to get a lot of random reboots, at first it was just when I was doing a lot of tasks all at once but now even mundane tasks like just running the browser will cause it to freeze for a minute then just randomly reboot?

So I decided to reboot my E72 and it didn't want anymore to start. So I removed my SD, and tried again but I had the Nokia welcome screen and after a few minutes a white screen which empty my battery. In earlier phones you could configure the NAVI key for shortcuts to Radio, Camera, etc. Is that possible in E5?2) When I press the Call Key, the E5 does not show me the latest calls made. I tried factory reset and reinstall software but still can not change. I have to enter lock code after every 30 mins phone unuse.

But whenever i plugin with the usb and try playing the sound, it works find playing it on the phone speaker.
Even when someone is calling, the tones wont work....
my e63 keeps showing the error message 'phone memory full'.file manager says that 119mb are in use, but i can't 'see' the files that are taking up all this space.i've deleted surplus applications like Internet - but could someone possibly suggest how to free up more space? i don't think it's being taken up by emails or text messages (121kb) either.i would prefer not to format the memory, just delete whatever is taking up the 119mb.

The problem is that the phone lock code expires for every 24 hours.It is really annoying to enter old phone lock code, new phone lock code and finally confirm the new lock code every 24 hours. I think it maybe has something to do with the security issues in Microsoft exhange.
