anyone who's used the 97 would agree with me on this- the 97 could have been better if it had a little more processing power. out of curiosity, what's Nokia's reason to under-clock the processor? to save on battery and produce less heat? is it technically feasible for nokia to come up with a firmware update that makes the 97's processor run at its native clock speed? can it be overclocked? Whats the native clock speed of the 97's processor? And could it be possible to add /swap (virtual memory) support on the 97 like maemo? It would be great if we could make use of a part of that 32GB as RAM.
I have nokia c5 mobile & it was written on nokia that this phone have processor of 600 MHz , but when i instaled more than one software ( symbian s60 ) as " cpu monitor - xplore " it found that the cpu speed is 192 MHz not 600 MHz i just wanted to know if this is a software error or else.does any one know a trusted software or a trusted way to know the cpu speed ?
Since upgrading from 4.3 to 4.5, my music won't play. And now the ringers won't ring. I have to switch to vibrate to know I'm getting a call. I get the following error:
ERROR PLAYING Device Media Processor is Busy.I will restore back to 4.3 if I have to, but wonder if someone else has a solution...
Ever since I upgraded to OS 7.1 on my Verizon Bold 9930, I often get the message "Device Media Processor Busy" when I use the media player, Pandora or watch a You Tube video. I've looked on several forums and found that this is a common problem. The only fix is to remove the battery to reset the phone. But after several uses of various Media Apps the problem comes back. Is there something I can doing to eliminate this issue, or is there going to be a new OS upgrade that fixes this problem. I'm currently running 7.1.0 Bundle 457.
I was told the Droid X 2 is due out around may 22/23 buy a Verizon sales person. It will run Gingerbread with a Dual processor. Has anyone else heard about this???
After the ICS update the processor is back to its own clock speed i.e 1.2ghz rather than then usual under clocked speed i.e 1ghz. But this had occured with all the other moto atrix 2 users.
My phone app is draining battery of my phone!tried a factory reset but still the same. It keeps the phone awake every time. Processor does not go to deep sleep.
What are the best java mobile softwares available out there for word processing (something equivalent to word, to read *.doc files) and to read PDF files? (I was unable to open any PDF using Zesium MobilePDF )
Ok, so I had a bold 9000 for a year, but I was sick of the battery life and battery pulls. Couple weeks ago, I sold it and got me an android. But the problem is 90% of my friends and family own a blackberry, so basically I still need BBM.Now, I'm thinking of buying a new javelin, cause I always loved the form factor so much. I had no idea how'd I ended up with the bold.I know that it won't get the OS 6, but that won't be a problem since I already got an android. So do you guys recommend it?My only concern is the battery life. My brother got an onyx and it has great battery life. How's the battery life compared to the bold 9700?Oh and I also heard the CPU is pretty slow that you can't chat/browse the internet while listening to music? Is that true?
My 9900 music player runs for'bout half an hour and then, it hangs...I close it, and then reopen it. Then I try to play the song again and it displays "device media processor is busy" ... Is there a way to get it back to work besides doing a battery pull? Or a way to terminate the process?
I tried to update my Nokia X3 with Nokia Software Updater. And after installing from 4.01 to V8.40, I lost "Windows Live Messenger" and "Ovi Contacts" . Can some one please tell me as how I can get these applications back. I love these applications and I was using them a lot.
I can't turn on the phone because the phone stacks in a blank Nokia logo and then turns off. When I try to connect in the PC nothing happens and when I try to put the battery into the device. it turns on by itself and restarting sevaral times. I dont know what kind of problem I am facing.

I have a Nokia 500 with Belle installed (vers: 111.021.0028) and Nokia Suite vers 3.6.36.On the 17.12.2012 I've installed the latest version of Romania maps: 00.02.47.103 and since then I get the same error message 'car navigation cannot start at this location'. I can access the maps, I get the correct position but the problem occurs when I try to navigate to any address. It doesn't seem to have an actual issue with the location because I've tried several locations in Bucharest and got the same error.
Okay i've had my Nokia n97 for more than 6months now and its been working great except lately my facebook app wasn't working and i had to update it,so last night i backed up my files on my mobile and i connected it to the pc and updated it with the program that the mobile brings with a cd it was okay then i went back to restore my files and it said it had to restart so it turned off and i went to turn it on again and it stayed a blank screen with the nokia sign in the middle in blue (when you turn it on it that usually shows) but it stayed stuck there it doesn't go to pin code nor anything, and to turn it off i have to take the battery off,
Someone got a brandnew N97 from O2 in Germany. The interesting thing is the packages says "Made in China". My own N97 was made in Finland, as expected. Does Nokia really assemble some N97 in China? Or could this be a faked phone!? But I do not expect O2 to sell faked phones. What does Nokia say about this? Here you can see a picture of the package: http://www.abload.de/image.php?img=01032010133c7bldey8.jpg
