Since upgrading from 4.3 to 4.5, my music won't play. And now the ringers won't ring. I have to switch to vibrate to know I'm getting a call. I get the following error:
ERROR PLAYING Device Media Processor is Busy.I will restore back to 4.3 if I have to, but wonder if someone else has a solution...
Ever since I upgraded to OS 7.1 on my Verizon Bold 9930, I often get the message "Device Media Processor Busy" when I use the media player, Pandora or watch a You Tube video. I've looked on several forums and found that this is a common problem. The only fix is to remove the battery to reset the phone. But after several uses of various Media Apps the problem comes back. Is there something I can doing to eliminate this issue, or is there going to be a new OS upgrade that fixes this problem. I'm currently running 7.1.0 Bundle 457.
My 9900 music player runs for'bout half an hour and then, it hangs...I close it, and then reopen it. Then I try to play the song again and it displays "device media processor is busy" ... Is there a way to get it back to work besides doing a battery pull? Or a way to terminate the process?
I recently installed OS 5.0.0.442 which was posted on the very first thread of the forum. I haven't had any issues with it until recently.
When I try a soft reset, I get the red indicator light as usual, but instead of resetting, I get a message on my screen that says something along the lines of "Media card installed. All media will be copied onto the device." After this dialog box goes away, the device does NOT reset. Any ideas on why the soft reset no longer works?
Ok, media card was working fine, had alot of work pictures stored on it and was becoming a hassle to hunt through all of them to find what I wanted. So, I inserted media card in computer and transfered what I wanted to a folder on the computer. Then I formatted the card using the computer. When I put the card back into the phone, the phone knows its there, but I must have wiped the card completely as none of the folders for video, pics, etc. are on it anymore. If I take a picture and go to find it, the media card does not even show up, just device memory.
Does anybody have a remedy for this? I already tried formatting the card in the phone but that didn't work. The phone is telling me in the memory options that 1.8GB is free, so I know it works, it just lost the folders or whatever........
i have pictures on the media card. When i pulled up Media folder, no pictures listed in the Picture library, so i can't use them for wallpapers or adding pictures to phone contacts.
How do I get pictures off of my device media that aren't on the memory card? I got a new smartphone and I want to retrieve the pictures; they can't be replaced.
I have a problem about my device, it can't be recognize by my PC. I was using media transfer for transferring musics from my computer to my mobile. It works fine until there was a sudden error while I was transferring the musics. After that, my PC wont recognize my device anymore. So i search for the solution in the net and I found the way.
Here it is: "In some devices, if having copied a large number of files (> 4000 files) in Media Transfer USB mode to the device, the PC connection may not succeed any more. If this happens, try deleting files with File Mgr. Application to decrease the number of files below 4000."
my blackberry 9900 says there is no media card inserted in device but it is inserted. i have formatted it on pc pulled the battery and anything else i could try that has been recommended the card is recognized on pc it is my card from my old blackberry which it worked fine?
I have bb 9700 with os 6.0 bundle 2115 (v6.0.0.480, platform 6.6.0.151 ) Usually I have low device memory when make any download and install any applications , and I need to make any app download and install and Store files on a media card instead of the device
When I plug my Torch 9800 into an external source i.e. my Hi fi the media corrupts and requires formatting. The device then fails to format.
I have continually tried and eventual the format have been successful but I then have to reload my music but again when i plug it into my Hi Fi it corrupts.
When I start the Desktop Manager and connect my phone everything works fine. I then try to launch Media Manager and the Device connected (PIN) : Blackberry 9550 (310C647) goes grey and the software says " There is no device connected. Please connect your device in order to view its contents."
My company recently introduced a security policy that disallows the use of any from of external drives and I wasn't aware of this and i connected my phone to my laptop and couldn't access it and afterwards i noticed that i didn't have access to my files on either the device memory or memory card.I have tried saving stuff into them via bluetooth or from other systems but it won't show when i view it via my phone, however i can see the files on the system i can view the files. When i try to view the contents of the media card through the file manager i see that all the folders on the media card are showing as .exe files.I have tried to reformat the media card all to no avail.
I am a BB 9360 user. I haven't upgraded my software since I bought my phone a few months ago.My problem is I cannot view files in my media card in my phone. The media crad is being recognized by the phone but I cannot see the photos/videos/music etc. I thought my media card was corrupted or something but when I connected my phone in my laptop through usb I was able to access my files.

I want to move pictures from the device memory to the newly installed media card. I have consulted forums on this and the procedure seems to be clear - BUT! I follow procedure and when I see the media card as an option to move to, it appears above a line and cannot be selected.
I've seen this many times on these threads but I have not seen any answers. Whenever I try to use media sync (3.0 i believe it is) it all works fine until i press the sync button, windows 7 will then ask me if i want to scan and fix the media card i have installed and then media sync will come up with the error message 'some files were not transferred. there was insufficient space or the blackberry device was disconnected.' When i scan it nothing is wrong and then when i try to sync it again, the exact same thing happens, in the same order.
I have some chat history stored on my BlackBerry internal memory and have recently purchased a media card. Is it possible to copy over the chat history from the device to the media card?

A configuration snafu sent pictures to a folder in Device Memory. (Device Memory/Home/User/Pictures) All my previous pictures went to memory card. (Media Card/Blackberry/pictures) I am not able to move the pictures from the Device Memory folder to either the memory Card or to my PC. Normal "Move" and PC downbload procudes don't work (I can't get to the Device Memory folders via my PC, and the Blackberry won't let me move from the Device memory to the Media Card.) These pictures will be lost if I can't move them. I don't want to email them. How do I move the pictures in Device Memory/Home/User/Pictures to either the Media Card or to my PC.
I have tried to get this to launc so many times I'm bored. Connrct phone and after some time of "installing driver" it fails to install "MML" drivers, this happens on both my win7 and xp pro machines. Tried with anti virus off on both computers same result. also is it worth the hassle, does it do more than the portal?
in this telephone is processor Freescale MXC300-30 (369 MHz) is it right? because my phone is pretty much slow for that processor, which i have in another device which is fast.
anyone who's used the 97 would agree with me on this- the 97 could have been better if it had a little more processing power. out of curiosity, what's Nokia's reason to under-clock the processor? to save on battery and produce less heat? is it technically feasible for nokia to come up with a firmware update that makes the 97's processor run at its native clock speed? can it be overclocked? Whats the native clock speed of the 97's processor? And could it be possible to add /swap (virtual memory) support on the 97 like maemo? It would be great if we could make use of a part of that 32GB as RAM.
