Nokia :: E72 No Longer Starting After Updated Software On Phone And Downloaded OVI Chat

Yesterday I updated the software on my phone and downloaded the OVI Chat with the Here and Now software etc. The download and installation of the software went smoothly. I even turned off and turned back on the phone to ensure that all went well AFTER the installation was complete.
Today, however, my phone isn't working. This afternoon the phone displayed a white screen for 2 seconds -- I wasn't doing anything on the phone. When the screen came back I noticed that the phone wasn't locking anymore so I restarted the phone. It's not coming back on.
So far, I've tried the following:
1. removed the battery from the phone and put it back in
2. removed the memory card and tried to restart the phone
3. tried connecting the phone to the computer to see if the computer could read it
4. tried the hard reset (3 + * + call button + power button)

When you press a letter on the keyboard, I no longer get a list of contacts starting with that letter.
Does anyone know why and how I can re establish it? Its such a quicker way of access contacts than pressing contact key.

I just downloaded ios5.1 and now all my contacts are gone and my favorites are all numbers with no names to the numbers???

I have tried looking before posting this but I can't find anything to help me. I upgraded to 5.0.0.545 and my mute key no longer puts my phone into standby mode. How can I lock the keyboard when I put my phone into my purse now? Is this OS filled with bugs or is it actually better?

I downloaded the Facebook chat app in Nokia store. It worked once but then it stopped working, it authenticates my account but then there reads wait please and in a while it reports that login failed with current settings

My wife downloaded IOS 5 update for her iPhone 3gs and it now seems to be stuck in the connecting mode. The screen displays the apple logo and the USB symbol. Everytime she attempts to power down the phone the screen goes blank for a few seconds then returns to the apple logo w/ USB.

I'm from Vietnam, I own an E71 (FW 400.013.23), when I bought this phone, Chat application is pre-installed and it's okay for me. However, after I format my phone Chat application disappeared (it's not a part of the firmware I guess).I go to OVI Store to redownload it (Nokia Messaging for IM) at: URL...
But it says this is not compatible with E71! What's wrong?Please show me a solution to reinstall Chat application on my phone.

Ever since I downloaded the new OS I can no longer type, text, email properly. I use the full keyboard in both portrait and landscape view. The problem is that every time I type, the words constantly change themselves. They do not follow my command so they change. Before, If I was to type "dfsnfjns" it would stay as that. Now if I type that it will automatically change to a word that I did not want there such as "deafens", etc. In the keyboard settings, the auto correct feature is disabled. Can someone please help me fix my problem?

I have been out of the loop for a while here, but i am starting to feel the upgrade itch. I have been using the N95-3 since its launch in the US and overall like it, but its starting to feel a bit under powered and dated.
Basically what i am looking for is an updated s60 phone that has a keypad with T9. I hate QWERTY keybords on phones, and i really rather have a keypad over a touchscreen. The x3 looks nice however being s40 i am not interested. Basically a thinner updated n95 would be exactly what i would like to see, am i barking up the wrong tree with this?

Okay i've had my Nokia n97 for more than 6months now and its been working great except lately my facebook app wasn't working and i had to update it,so last night i backed up my files on my mobile and i connected it to the pc and updated it with the program that the mobile brings with a cd it was okay then i went back to restore my files and it said it had to restart so it turned off and i went to turn it on again and it stayed a blank screen with the nokia sign in the middle in blue (when you turn it on it that usually shows) but it stayed stuck there it doesn't go to pin code nor anything, and to turn it off i have to take the battery off,

This is a company iPhone. It stated passcode is expired; I changed it. Now new passcode comes up invalid and locks phone for longer and longer periods.

So I recently got 6730c. I updated the phone and the map service using Ovi and the maps disappeared. I tried to revert the phone to a backup I did but the maps didn't appear. I again updated Ovi, my phone and the map software and tried to download the maps but it didn't work.

I am posting here because all of a sudden, 3 days after purchasing the phone (Nokia 5530 XpressMusic), it will no longer charge. I plug the charging cable into the phone but nothing happens ! (I charged the phone yesterday and everything was working fine).

As the title says - updated the phone and now have no option for full screen qwerty input! Everything else working fine - just lost one of the input options, handwriting, mini-qwerty or keypad are all that are left. Annoying as qwertry input was one of the best things about it - handwriting sucks, mini-qwerty is too small and if I wanted an alpha-numeric keypad I would have got a smaller, 'traditional' phone.

after I updated to belle FP1 from the phone itself (sw update) the contacts do not work, the list is dislpayed but if I choose a contact a black screen appears and contacts program crashes.I did the following:Hard reset the phone by turning off then pressing the home+volumedown+camera+ON buttons, but did not help. (this step made me lose all ovi apps such as maps, store,...etc)Connected the phone to OVI suite and made a software re-install but also wasn't helpful still the contacts do not work and lost the most important apps.

I've had my GS6 for about 6 weeks now and for the most part its been good but i've noticed in the past week or so its starting to slow down. Camera doesnt launch as quick as it used to with double tap, switching between apps is not as fast, scrolling thru websites isnt as smooth, it stutters now. I've restarted the phone and that works for a few hours then back to slow.

I just had this new BB 8530 for a few hours from the Verizon store. I love it and it seems have a lot better than my old BB 8330. Got home, I plug the BB 8530 to the computer, using BB Desktop Manager to transfer my contacts and calendar, then it just kept on booting for hours and hours.

I try to shut down the phone to charge it but it keeps re-starting itself. I plug it in, power the phone down and it restarts. Same when I plug it in when it is already off. Is this normal?

In the last few weeks, my M7 will start music playback (whether from Play Music or my podcast app) at weird times. Not out of the blue, but sometimes when a call comes in (which is obviously annoying since it then becomes a scramble to turn it off and explain to the caller what is happening). Or, it will happen when I give my phone a voice command, after the command is over it will start, as if it is resuming after having paused for the command (even thought it hadn't been on before).

After upgrading my 5800XM to v40 and upgrading to the latest PC suite and software updater versions on my PC, my phone no longer connects with the computer with the error message "cannot authenticate phone" with bluetooth. If I try USB connection, the OS crashes while trying to install phone software (windows 7 pro, Dell Inspiron 6400). I have uninstalled and re-installed all nokia software on the PC and still got the same results. Even without PC suite, the phone does not connect through the PC bluetooth anymore.
