I've had my GS6 for about 6 weeks now and for the most part its been good but i've noticed in the past week or so its starting to slow down. Camera doesnt launch as quick as it used to with double tap, switching between apps is not as fast, scrolling thru websites isnt as smooth, it stutters now. I've restarted the phone and that works for a few hours then back to slow.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have a samsung wireless charging pad and i charge my g920f with it every night since i bought it a week ago. It was charging well in about 3 hours from 0%, but now it is charging very slow (25% in 8 hours) and it is heating. I installed an app to see cpu states, it is 99% on 800mhz. I tried changing cables and chargers but nothing worked. Charging with microusb works just fine. If i turn off the s6, wireless charging works as normal. I don't have root nor modified the system in past and i don't plan on rooting. I have latest 5.1.1 from romania(vodafone).

View 3 Replies View RelatedI transferred/restored all my info and apps to it used it all day till night perfectly fine. It was fast, wifi working fine, etc. Then tonight I installed Go Launcher on it and played with it for like 10 mins and then noticed wifi stopped working. I turned wifi off and when I tried to turn it back on it failed, I kept trying until wifi turned on. Mean while the phone was super super slow so I turned off power saving mode but it didnt work. Then I noticed wifi started turning off on it own. My next step was remove Go launcher but it didnt fix anything, the issues stayed. Next I reset it to factory setttings but when it came on, wifi was failing (and phone slow) even during the initial set up wizard.
The phone was completely fine during the whole day.And my biggest worry is that this is an exchanged phone. I originally got a supposedly new s5 from ebay, (from a guy with thousands of reviews/transactions and like 98% positive score) but eventually I realized the battery was fake and that the IR blasted didnt work. He agreed to exchanged it and I received it yesterday and now today the phone has already failed but in the weirdest way possible by being completely fine for the majority of the day.
My phone has gotten to where when I am typing a text message it'll get so slow and almost freeze up and just stop and I got to wait and let it come back before I finish. I am running .131 on my Alltel 8330. Also, the 507 error I believe it is, happens to me a lot & I have had to completely reinstall the whole OS so many times. My battery doesn't really last very long at all. It doesn't compare to many that I hear about & my signal just isn't that great. Sometimes it runs good & won't really be that slow or lag but these past couple days it has been lagging bad & even with scrolling. Memory is NOT an issue I can reboot up with 45 & it'll go down to around 39 throughout the day.
I've tried .127 OS that my phone came with, used .131, used a hybrid before and tried .169 but the notification problem is too annoying.
It's happening more and more frequently. Changed battery in case it was this...also Swype starting to freeze more too.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAbout 5 times now, when I double tap the home button to open the camera, the phone vibrates and the viewfinder "distorts". By distorts, the best way I can describe it, is think of the surface of a lake and a slight breeze creating tiny waves. This lasts for about 3 to 8 seconds and then all is fine. Or, if I don't want to wait, I can go home and come back to the camera. Also there seems to be a slight audio tone like a "hmmmmmm" but I can't tell if it's actual audio out of the speaker or from the material of the phone because of the vibrating. It has only happened about 5 times, this just started 3 days ago and it seems to be happening more frequently.

For a couple of weeks now I have noticed that my email has started to sync my junk mail. I will get notifications, i.e. It will say I have 10 emails, 5 important, 5 junk. When I go in to my email it will only show the 5 important ones in my inbox.
Is there anyway to turn off notifications for junk mail?
Other things you may need to know;
- I'm using MS Exchange Server (for my hotmail account).
- I haven't recently updated my OS.
I thought this was just an issue with the Samsung Galaxy S5 Car Mode. So I downloaded a third party app, Car Home Ultra, and set it up. And it does the same thing.
When the phone detects the bluetooth connection, it tries to start car mode. But it seems that if I don't pick up the phone and enter my login pattern car mode doesn't fully load.
So the voice controls don't work. Now I'm going 100km/h down the highway and the thing isn't working until I enter a pattern.
Similarly, if I go for a short trip, because it doesn't fully load, when I get out of the car, it is still in this half-loaded state so a phone call comes in and I miss it because it is still trying to talk to my long-gone bluetooth connection.
Is there a way to fix this so car mode can fully load but I still have security on the phone?
I noticed recently there was a youtube update. I'm seeing whenever I reboot or turn on my phone that the youtube app automatically starts up. It shows on my active apps widget. But it does not physically start up in a window though. If I go to the running apps screen in the application manager, it says that youtube is running the offlinefiletransfer service.
Is there anyway to disable this?
I installed XtreStoLite and everything went fine. Calls still work fine, but there is 3 beeps when starting the call and one beep when hanging on. What this could be?

Got home, I plug the BB 8530 to the computer, using BB Desktop Manager to transfer my contacts and calendar, then it just kept on booting for hours and hours.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIn the last few weeks, my M7 will start music playback (whether from Play Music or my podcast app) at weird times. Not out of the blue, but sometimes when a call comes in (which is obviously annoying since it then becomes a scramble to turn it off and explain to the caller what is happening). Or, it will happen when I give my phone a voice command, after the command is over it will start, as if it is resuming after having paused for the command (even thought it hadn't been on before).

This is the first time I've tried buying an app and its just not working. I can download free apps from the Market just fine, its just the paid apps that are giving me grief! View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday I updated the software on my phone and downloaded the OVI Chat with the Here and Now software etc. The download and installation of the software went smoothly. I even turned off and turned back on the phone to ensure that all went well AFTER the installation was complete.
Today, however, my phone isn't working. This afternoon the phone displayed a white screen for 2 seconds -- I wasn't doing anything on the phone. When the screen came back I noticed that the phone wasn't locking anymore so I restarted the phone. It's not coming back on.
So far, I've tried the following:
1. removed the battery from the phone and put it back in
2. removed the memory card and tried to restart the phone
3. tried connecting the phone to the computer to see if the computer could read it
4. tried the hard reset (3 + * + call button + power button)
My girlfriends SE K550i died yesterday. If you try to start it it flashes red a couple of times then nothing happens. I have read about this and I thought I could reflash the phone to see if that fixes it. I have tried with XS++ and when I press 2 and 5 and connect the phone the program reacts but it stops at "Protocol Version 3.1" then nothing happens. The phone doesn't react when I put it in the charger so perhaps the battery is all drained too.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo ive been with the Galaxy since the S3, and each one ends up becoming the same. They are great when i first get them, then within the first 2 months, they pretty much turn into crap. The UI isnt smooth, things take a while to open, apps dont transition to another smoothly, opening texts,, going back and forth between texts and apps arent the best and i constantly get problems to the point i need to do a warranty exchange with tmobile.
Even with a rooted phone i experience the same. Whenever i test out my friends iphone, everything seems to be super quick and fluid, just not customizable and limited to what you can do..What can i do to improve my phone or this is just how these galaxies are?
My camera works fine at day but at night focusing is extremely slow and when I shoot, it takes ~5 seconds for phone to take a photo. Also, friend (with his LG G2) and I took the same picture in the dark and his looks much better. S5 took much darker picture..
