My camera works fine at day but at night focusing is extremely slow and when I shoot, it takes ~5 seconds for phone to take a photo. Also, friend (with his LG G2) and I took the same picture in the dark and his looks much better. S5 took much darker picture..
View 3 Repliestoday i tried using the slowmotion mode in the camera, and before you start recording the camera show good details but after you start recording the detail drops a lot, its like 360p or 480p....the resolution in fact is 720p but it doesn't look like it at all....is this how it supposed to be??

I have already tried there is no slow motion option there either. I have seen other people's s6's when they click mode the slow motion option is there from the start. View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought Sony Xperia Z2 a few weeks ago.. im noticing that in the night when i take pictures ,specially portraits ,they r very blur & not upto the mark.. in the daylight camera works fine...but nights pics look very bad.. no sharpness n clarity at all .
Also i have noticed that the moment camera takes picture its pretty clear but after some processing for about few seconds the image looks very soft n blur. i have tried all the modes n scenes n 20mp shots also.
The camera result is not much good in night with flash. The picture will get blur after clicking the image. So is there any setting to increase the result in night mode.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI get a random beep and/or random screen ons in the middle of the night. What would cause it, because there is no consistency. The beep sound isn't any of my notification sounds either. It hasn't happened every night (or at least I haven't woken up to it).
Could my charger be affecting it? (My old phone never did it on this charger, but who knows. I'm also waiting for my QI charger to show up and replace my normal charger)....
I do charge my phone at night. Is there a setting that beeps when the battery is charged? Is there something that would tell the screen to turn on for any reason? I'm pretty sure it isn't any apps, since I've only had the phone for a week and haven't loaded very many.
Usually a couple of times during the night I wake up to find my phone screen on. It's bugging me because this does not happen during the day. Otherwise I think I could turn off what is causing it to light up at night.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using unlocked Samsung Galaxy S5 G900F model for 1 year. It working fine. But for 3-4 months I cannot keep my phone on overnight. It drains battery to 30%-40%. I have tried all possible solution like:
kept brightness to minimum
WiFi, mobile data, Bluetooth, GPS kept off
stopped unwanted services like FB, S finder, etc from App manager.
I mean all possible options.
It shows that Phone radio and network are draining my batter (as shown in attached images) Also how can screen brightness drain battery when kept idle screen locked mode overnight? (as shown in attached images). I have attached screenshots when I found 69% battery remaining in the morning (kept at 100% at night)
Note 1: During day battery performs normally even with WiFi and data
Note 2: Even when kept in ultra power saving mode overnight it drains around 20% battery
How to stop it? The schedule function is off, so it can't be that. I've enabled the exception for alarms within it since this keeps happening, but could be dangerous for some people if it does enable on its own like this.

But when comes to do night photos or to take indoor photos where you need flash....the camera is almost useless.I don't now who would like to watch to the phone camera while the flash got fired. It takes ages to take a photo and you almost get blind while watching to this **** flash and waiting the phone to take a photo.This is insane. I have this phone almost a year and because of this problem I dont take photos when is the need for flash.Does anyone knows some other better application that works better than this stock camera. the camera app crashes on my 6p while doing slow motion video. I've seen a few mentions of this here and there on the web, with suggestions to factory reset / wipe cache, etc. I have tried this but no luck. I don't really see a definitive answer anywhere, but see quite a few complaints about it.
What happens is the camera app crashes when trying to take slow motion video, while zoomed in, either at 120 fps or 240 fps. I haven't seen anybody else mention this specifically while zoomed in, but that's what's happening to me. If I'm in the camera app and switch to slow mo video, then zoom in, move the phone around a bit, the app freezes and crashes with a "cannot connect to camera" error 100% of the time. I don't even have to start recording, the screen just starts to get jumpy, then eventually freezes completely. It's not a random thing, I can replicate the problem over and over.
Just got my phone and it is completely stock. When using the video camera and switching between slow-motion modes (normal, 120 FPS & 240 FPS) the camera app crashes and I get the error message "Can't connect to the camera".
Then the camera wont work, no matter the app I use, that uses the camera. After a reboot it works again though.
Sometimes it crashes the first time I've changed the mode to 240, sometimes after cycling through the modes a bit, but it always happen and it wont many cycles (1-3). I've recorded functional 240 FPS videos, so that part works.
I've tried starting the phone in safe mode and deleting cache partition, with the same result.
There are others with the same problem, but it doesn't seem to be a common error. Is it a software problem or hardware, and is RMA the only option?
Last night I used Skype for the first time on my turbo. Today I see that the front facing camera is slow/shaky for a lack of a better word. I have to be super still to take a pic.

They are great when i first get them, then within the first 2 months, they pretty much turn into crap. The UI isnt smooth, things take a while to open, apps dont transition to another smoothly, opening texts,, going back and forth between texts and apps arent the best and i constantly get problems to the point i need to do a warranty exchange with tmobile.
Even with a rooted phone i experience the same. Whenever i test out my friends iphone, everything seems to be super quick and fluid, just not customizable and limited to what you can do..What can i do to improve my phone or this is just how these galaxies are?
My s6 is slow on Wi-Fi. It want at first but after about two weeks it is a slug. No matter what Wi-Fi I use. Multiple factory resets, clearing the cache partition etc.. Speed test are good, 15-25ms ping, 35-60mbps but it takes about Minute to locate a network to test from..

Camera doesnt launch as quick as it used to with double tap, switching between apps is not as fast, scrolling thru websites isnt as smooth, it stutters now. I've restarted the phone and that works for a few hours then back to slow.

i tried using other camera app but it's no use. the phone has no warranty in my country so i could not have a replacement.
been to the samsung service center also but still no luck.
When I leave the camera app, my phone is apparently accessing my camera and taking a picture. The photo isn't saved in the gallery, but then I go into the task manager, I see a photo of wherever I was when I left the camera app. Is there a way to disable this?

I'm experiencing very slow file uploads to any PC on my LAN.
Downloads (from PC to phone) = 10-15 MBps
Uploads (from Phone to PC) = 1 MBps
My WIFI network is 5G, target PCs are on a Gigabit wired connection.
I've tried several target PCs
Static IP for the phone
Rebooted the router
Rebooted device
Changed network to 2.4GHz
Why I'm seeing very slow upload of files ? I'm not even sure if this is normal ....
