But it does not physically start up in a window though. If I go to the running apps screen in the application manager, it says that youtube is running the offlinefiletransfer service.
Is there anyway to disable this?

May 4, 2015I use a wireless charging dock in my car along with connecting my phone via bluetooth to the entertainment system. I've encountered an annoying issue when playing media.. here's the simplest way I can put my scenario:
1. Place phone on wireless charger and starting playing music
2. Phone becomes 100% charged and emits a screen wake + notification noise telling me so
3. Wireless charging stops because the phone is fully charged
4. With music playing, the battery drains to less than 100%, which engages the wireless charging
5. Repeat from step 2
This loop happens over and over endlessly. The charged notification makes an audible noise like every 3-4 minutes which is super annoying while I'm listening to music.
Is there a way for me to disable the audible noise that occurs when I place my phone on a charger or when the phone becomes fully charged? Is there a way to keep the wireless charging "active" so my charge doesn't dip while on the dock?

Mar 19, 2012When I open the camera app I switch over to video camera and tap the record button but nothing happens. The camera does not record. I do not see a video time counter and I cannot do anything else with the camera. I can't stop the recording because it doesn't think it is recording. Odd. BTW, this was happening before 5.1 update.

Dec 25, 2015So when I record a video, there is a noise every time the video auto focuses. I am hoping this is a software issue since I do not hear the same noise in other videos I recorded pre 6.0.1.
First video was recorded in 120fps. And you can hear a ticking sound. Now, I did not record any 120fps before 6.0.1 so not sure if this happened before the update. [URL] .....

Apr 17, 2014I noticed that while charging with a charger that is not supplied with the phone, there is the sound that the phone makes when you first plug into a charger, and then while charging, it beeps every so often.....I believe its because I'm charging with a 1A charger, instead of the new 2A charger, but Verizon told me they were backwards compatible.If so, is there a way to silence this alert?

Jan 5, 2011Has anyone else noticed that after you have shot a video while using the volume/zoom switch to zoom in and out that when you play back the video you can hear the clicking of the switch? If you use the slide zoom on screen, the microphone also picks up the noise from your finger moving across the screen using that method too. This is a major problem as you cannot hear what you have filmed when you play it back, when I took it back to the shop where I purchased it from to explain about it they checked all the other N8's in the shop and they too had the same fault. Come on Nokia you managed to be able to get it right on my old N95-00 without it making the clicking noises,so you must be able to sort it out on the N8, the videos at the moment are unwatchable as all you hear is click, click ,click where the zoom button has been pressed. I bought this phone mainly for the excellent camera/video but at the moment all I have is a very expensive touch screen phone

May 1, 2015I get a random beep and/or random screen ons in the middle of the night. What would cause it, because there is no consistency. The beep sound isn't any of my notification sounds either. It hasn't happened every night (or at least I haven't woken up to it).

I do charge my phone at night. Is there a setting that beeps when the battery is charged? Is there something that would tell the screen to turn on for any reason? I'm pretty sure it isn't any apps, since I've only had the phone for a week and haven't loaded very many.
