Although previously it was available and I was using it frequently.I searched for it in the "Ovi store" but I did not find it. So I really appreciate if anyone could help me in solving that issue since I don't want to use other chat app's.

I checked the ways to download it, like at Ovi Store, but I still found no trace. I haven't really cared about it until recently because I thought E5s didn't have them. View 19 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded to the 400.* firmware without major issues. I was pleasently surprised to see the new Chat application. Although not the best it works on my unlimited browsing service where no other IM app will so I am thrilled!
The one issue is that there is no sound or vibration alert for new messages (using Google Talk). I have checked and unchecked the more->options play sound/vibration boxes without effect. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Seems like my boyfriend managed to delete the "Chat" icon on my Nokia E5 last night. Its the icon with a little yellow speech bubble on top of a bigger white speech bubble, the one that shows on the home screen. As I've lost this icon I cant use msn messenger. How can I get it back? I am sure it was there before as I used it and managed to log on to msn messenger.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've just re-installed the firmware on my E71 having completed a full backup via PC Suite before doing so. The re-installation went OK & I've restored the backed-up stuff but most of the icons from the apps located on my memory card are now missing from the Installations folder on the phone so I cannot now access any of them. Many of the apps were paid for so I don't want to have to re-install them by downloading them again from Ovi.
Is there any way I can get the application icons back in the Installations folder? They were there when I did the backup & have always come back when I have done similar re-installations in the past. The apps are on the card & App Manager tells me they are all 'installed' but won't allow me to access them.
I lost my map application on nokia 500 and I can't get it back, first I experienced a problem with the check in service now the whole application is goneeven though I downloaded nokia maps v 3.08 from the internet and after installing it it wont open idk what else to do
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen i connect my 5630 XPress music phone via PC Suite, a ballon connfirms that Nokia 5630 connected. But whenever i try to install application or do any other work via PC suite, it gives an error saying that connection to the phone lost.
Moreover, when i plug usb to ma computer and to my phone, computer finds a hardware named " MTP", computer tries to install it but gives an error saying that a problem occured during hardware installation and it might not work properly
So I was having a problem with the original chat app that comes with the Nokia E5 phone saying that I should search for updates, but when I clicked that, I received the message of "Service temporarily unavailable. Try again later.". So I had this for a few days, using different connections and all that stuff, and the problem remained.With no option left, I decided to uninstall the app and thought: "Well, I'll just reinstall it!". There you go, now I need to reinstall that app to my phone. How can I do that? Where can I download the original chat App ("messenger, yahoo, gtalk, etc.", that all-in-one app that comes with E5)? I've tried reinstalling the system, like, using Nokia Suite and pressing the "reinstall system" button there is in the Updates tab, but that didn't help.

View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday I updated the software on my phone and downloaded the OVI Chat with the Here and Now software etc. The download and installation of the software went smoothly. I even turned off and turned back on the phone to ensure that all went well AFTER the installation was complete.
Today, however, my phone isn't working. This afternoon the phone displayed a white screen for 2 seconds -- I wasn't doing anything on the phone. When the screen came back I noticed that the phone wasn't locking anymore so I restarted the phone. It's not coming back on.
So far, I've tried the following:
1. removed the battery from the phone and put it back in
2. removed the memory card and tried to restart the phone
3. tried connecting the phone to the computer to see if the computer could read it
4. tried the hard reset (3 + * + call button + power button)
I encrypt my memory card and after then mistakenly format the phone without decrypting the memory card. I have the password key also.

2- Also installed nokia map loader version 3.0
Now all is fine. Isn't it? So they said first start nokia map application till it load completely then close it. I did. Then connect ur phone on PC SUIT MODE and also I did that. Then all I get on nokia map loader app is "Waiting for the phone" thats it and phone already connected I tried in both modes pc suit and mass storage but still the same "Waiting for the phone" and I am waiting too.
I am using N97 rom 02-Aug-09. everything was working fine untill i notice tht my phone memory is getting filled up although i never installed any application & i hv set my default memory as mass memory from the very beginning. for nokia care in india the only solution is format/soft.update. moreover they couldn't even trace where the memory is occupying so that it could be set free.
