Just one contact from Blackberry Messenger get lost when you close the chat window of that contact?? I mean, I just have the problem with one contact (the rest is ok) and I have to be sending invitation each time I lost that contact. I already have the last messenger version and the problem still continue.
View 1 RepliesWhen I am viewing an SMS conversation, with lets say someone named bob, and bob sends me another message, it does not beep if I am still in the bob sms window. I get no notification. To get a notification I have to back out or lock the screen each time.
Sometimes I sit my phone down waiting for a reply and when it beeps I know I have a reply. however, with the s6 I am forced to back out of mine and bob's chat window each and every time just so I can receive the notification beep again to know when he has replied. Is there a way to fix this? Or am I forced to use a 3rd party app (not preferred)
When messaging app is closed I receive an initial sound notification for received text message. When chat window is open and texts are received there is no sound with each new text (and if window stays open while you are doing something else you have no sound notification of text received within that thread).
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am totally furstrated and cant chat with a particular contact on BBM. I have tried reinstalling BBM many times. The contact shows up on my list. As soon as i send a message it says reinvite contact. When i hit reinvite nothing happens. The same happens with the other person when he tries to message me. And the best part is that we are unable to even delete each other. So we cant add again. So its a big mess.

Seems like my boyfriend managed to delete the "Chat" icon on my Nokia E5 last night. Its the icon with a little yellow speech bubble on top of a bigger white speech bubble, the one that shows on the home screen. As I've lost this icon I cant use msn messenger. How can I get it back? I am sure it was there before as I used it and managed to log on to msn messenger.

During the upgrade process, I thought it backed up her data. But it doesn't seem to be available to restore. Isn't that a normal part of the upgrade process and shouldn't it be available somewhere?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an Iphone 3G, and this weekend, when I connected to Itunes, it upgraded to the 4.0 software and *SAID* it was backing up all of my information (contacts, calendars, etc). The software upgraded and it all works fine but *ALL* of my information is GONE! nothing is on the SIM card, because I tried putting it into another phone. I back up my entire computer to my Time Machine regularly. I spent 1 hour on the phone with a "Genius" while I wasn't at home who repeatedly nagged me to back up my phone. Tonight I spent 45 mins, most of the time, the "genius" didn't know where my contact data even saves. In the end, tried copying last back up before the upgrade to 4.0 software and restore my Iphone to that backup, but it was a no-go.

Though many of my contacts are still intact, others no longer show a secondary phone number I once entered, or some contacts seem to have disappeared completely.The strange thing is, when I dial one of the "lost" numbers manually, the contact's name does show up! But I can't find it in the list of contacts.
