Xseries :: X3-02 Address From Contacts Not Synchronized?
Mar 2, 2011I have OVi 3.0.0.290 and X03-02 with V 05.65 software installed. OVI does not synchronize address details like street, postal code, city - they are visible in OVI but not in the phone. All other details are synchronized.

May 15, 2011i bought my X3-02 unlocked blue phone online, it came from USA but the box indicates the region NORTHERN AFRICA/UK.
My surprise when i opened the Chat service, only OVI CHAT is available! Windows messenger,. Yahoo Messenger and Gtalk ARE MISSING!
I went to a local Nokia store, and view the X3-02 black,. opened Chat services,. and it has ALL OF THEM (Windows messenger,. Yahoo Messenger and Gtalk).

I checked the ways to download it, like at Ovi Store, but I still found no trace. I haven't really cared about it until recently because I thought E5s didn't have them. Feb 13, 2010So I added a new gmail email address to my phone but by accident, when prompted told it to synch my contacts with that account. The first thing it did was import all the contacts to my gmail address book, on gmail.com, effectively erasing most of them from the phone. I took it into the t-mobile store and the guy somehow managed to recover about 1/3 of the contacts. So when I took it home, I deleted that email address and just plugged it into my computer and re-synched the contacts from my address book. However, whenever I look in my address book on the blackberry now, at the top of a contact it says "Sychronize using: emailaddress@gmail.com" (Obviously insert the email address I used). But that email address is no longer on my phone, so how is it synched with that? It also I think it is creating problems with synching up my facebook contacts as their pictures no longer show as icons on my phone. It's a minor problem, and seems to be a software issue, but is there any way to completely un-sych my contacts from this deleted email address?

Jan 6, 2010I have just upgraded to the 400.* firmware without major issues. I was pleasently surprised to see the new Chat application. Although not the best it works on my unlimited browsing service where no other IM app will so I am thrilled!
The one issue is that there is no sound or vibration alert for new messages (using Google Talk). I have checked and unchecked the more->options play sound/vibration boxes without effect. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Xseries :: Nokia X6 - Can't Set Up Email Address
Sep 30, 2010I'm trying to set up my yahoo mail email address using the email wizard.
I am going in via the messaging section, i'm asked to define the mailbox which I do by using the email wizard, select yahoo mail and add my email address, click ok and every single time it just keeps coming back as "unable to connect to server. Try again later"
I can get on internet, OVI store, call, text and use WLAN but this just keeps coming up the same. Is there any way to rectify this or is there some other way I can set up a few email addresses (I tryed my google one too and got the same response)

Feb 18, 2010I have multiple email addresses on my phone (Work, School (2), and Gmail). I have set my work email as the default under default services under advanced options. If I am in messages and I use the menu to compose a new email, the correct default email (work) is used.
However, if I am browsing my files, like a picture, and I use the menu to select send as email, it will attach it to a new email but it will be my Gmail address, not my default work address as the from address.
I have double checked and my work email is set as the default. Does anyone know how to fix this? This is not a battery pull problem either... It has been this was since I got the phone, and on my replacement as well. I reboot the phone often so its not the standard do a battery pull answer.

Jan 24, 2010I`m surprised that Gmail for Mobile app doesn`t work on my Nokia 6303, though it did work well with my old 6151 (and the operator is the same, nothing has changed except the phone model). It downloads properly, but when I try to open the Gmail, it keeps constantly asking for internet connection. But the connection is there! I press the "yes" but it keeps asking till finally tells to check the connectivity... And I have no problems with browsing the internet or opening and using my email accounts via web. I checked my settings but they seemed to be fine. But Gmail just doesn`t work, though I`ve tried several versions besides the newest one.

Try again later.". So I had this for a few days, using different connections and all that stuff, and the problem remained.With no option left, I decided to uninstall the app and thought: "Well, I'll just reinstall it!". There you go, now I need to reinstall that app to my phone. How can I do that? Where can I download the original chat App ("messenger, yahoo, gtalk, etc.", that all-in-one app that comes with E5)? I've tried reinstalling the system, like, using Nokia Suite and pressing the "reinstall system" button there is in the Updates tab, but that didn't help.

Nokia Lumia :: How To Get Contacts From GMail To 800
Nov 23, 2011I'm having issues in getting my contacts from my GMail account to my new Lumia 800. I find lots of references telling me to go to 'm.google.com/sync' on my phone but this just ends up in a loop (it redirects me to a page which says to visit [URL]
I also have the contacts in vcf format but again, can't find anything relating to importing these to the Lumia.
It's a great phone so far, but ultimately pretty useless if I can't get any contacts in there!
