My surprise when i opened the Chat service, only OVI CHAT is available! Windows messenger,. Yahoo Messenger and Gtalk ARE MISSING!
I went to a local Nokia store, and view the X3-02 black,. opened Chat services,. and it has ALL OF THEM (Windows messenger,. Yahoo Messenger and Gtalk).
Nokia X3-02 OVI chat application not allowme to add gmail address contacts., But i no issues when adding yahoo and ovi Id's.
View 4 Replies View Related1. I recently updated my Nokia PC Suite with my phone connected to computer as I wanted to save time. But following the update I noticed the Playlist had disappeared. The problem is that I have thousands of songs and it took me a long time to sort these songs. I don't want to go through it again. I can see the playlists names only (no songs) in computer as they were when I connect my phone to PC Suite but not on the phone.
2. I went to great lenghts to unlock my phone just to get updated software. I am currently on v30 and wanted to update it to v40. But after unlocking my phone I found my phone still does not show updated software.
When I click on the folder on my home screen labeled "SMS And MMS", usually I see a listing, by date, of the text-message chat threads I maintain with various individuals (each chat thread shows up under the date on which the last sent or received text message occurred).This morning one entire chat thread listing disappeared from this main listing screen, despite the fact that all of the messages are still on the device (as demonstrated by selecting "Search" from the Blackberry menu while on the SMS/MMS main screen and then typing in the name of this particular correspondent). The tech people at Verizon couldn't figure out how to restore this particular thread to the main listing screen, so that I can use it as usual as a quick way to text with this person.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSince the latest lolly update, the "chat service" has disappeared as an option from the stock messaging app. The one where your texts were coloured yellow if they were being sent over the internet rather than an SMS. This is very frustrating, as I was just extolling the virtues of this feature to my wife who has the Z3C, I have the Z3. She raves about What'sApp you see. Now "Chat" is gone! It's not even in the settings menu as "enable chat service" anymore... Have deleted data from app etc to no avail. It has gone from both our 'phones BTW.

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust to let people know that there has been an update on Nokia Communities Beta, and it's fully functional now, all the things that were 'coming soon' have arrived, twitter has the same functionality as Facebook, all the buttons work and share location will work when posting on either site (which means people with N97 can uninstall the feature from the new maps and get about 3meg back) I'd heartily reccommend it to those who have a compatable phone and you can get it here signing in with your nokia account log in http://betalabs.nokia.com/apps/nokia-messaging-chat. It's much better than standard facebook app

View 7 Replies View RelatedTwo moths ago, there was an update to nokia chat. I've installed it, but afer that nokia chat ceased to function. When I entered it, it just said "Service temporarily unavailable.lease try later". Same thing happened with Social. I hoped that this would get solved with symbian anna, but it didn't. Now, when i enter the app, only the loading screen appears, the one with welcome to ovi, an then nothing. It just exits the app. Note that I uninstalled and reinstalled these apps many, many times, but still, they do not work.
