I've recently got an E72 and I'm trying to set-up email (via Lineone). I've done the inbox thing ok but can't send anything. On the Advanced Mailbox settings, there is no Incoming mailbox or Outgoing mailbox settings option. I've searched high and low but can't find anything that will let me have access to the Outgoing mailbox.
View 4 RepliesI just bought the iphone 4s, as did my boyfriend. Both of us have no problem texting other people via imessage and text, but when we try to imessage one another, it comes up with two different windows. I checked the "Receive at" portion of the imessage settings, and although we both have our phone number linked to our apple id, it only shows up with email address. No Caller ID option, or phone number. The "remove email address" portion is also greyed out, and where my imessage is turned on, it says "waiting for activation." I checked with my apple id, and the email address is verified.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAnyone else missing the 'Edit Signature' option under Email Settings on their 9650? I just noticed this afternoon it's not there. I'm running 5.0.0.810 on BES.Not sure how long it has been missing; if it has been gone since June since I switched from my 8330 to this 9650 or if it was when I upgraded from .732 to .810.
Just wanted to check, I'll probably try downgrading back to .732 to see if it brings it back.I've actually only got three options under Email Settings; Enable HTML, Download images and Confirm external image download.
I cannot delete mailbox under Menu -> Email -> Settings -> [Selected mailbox] -> Option -> Remove Mailbox -> "You must be connected to remove a mailbox. Try again later.".
Connected where and how the mailbox can be deleted? There are lots of discussion of same problem but no solution (=factory reset is not solution).
Unable to define server settings when setting up IMAP or POP3 mailbox. Setup Wizard no longer gives these options when selecting OTHER as your email client type.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI need to set my outgoing work email (SMTP) server port number to 587 and connection security to TLS. However, I can't see an option to set either the port number nor the security to TLS. SSL security can be turned on/off, but no mention of TLS.
I have read elsewhere that setting the server name as <server name> : <port number> can be used (that is, using a colon to separate the server name from the port number), but still this does not allow for selecting TLS security.
My incoming email, IMAP, works fine, so my connection/username/password etc. should all be fine.
The sound notification in MAILBOX, (my email account), doesn't work. All other sound notifications work. The settings are correct. All other sound notifications work properly. How do I fix the problem.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've recently bought a nokia E72 after losing my E71 and I'm really disappointed with this mobile phone. I share most of the problems shared by most of the users. Messy software, awful sound, horrible build quality with lights comig from everywhere. But lately I found another problem with my mobile. When I create a new message, in the messaging menu, I don't have the option to create a MMS message. All the options I have are ''message (sms) / audio message / avatar sms / e-mail''. No signs of MMS creation option. I tried to uninstall the ''avatar sms'' software to check if the MMS menu would appear but still nothing. I've check the MMS settings and all the settings are ok, but still nothing in the messagin menu to create a MMS.
I bought my nokia n900 around 10 days back, works absolutely fantastic, gives me atleast 14-15hrs or battery life. yesterday i installed a couple of applications like MYMENU and MYTUBE. i checked it then and there and did not find it very good. so i uninstalled it. after that i cannot find 'MORE' option which is at the right bottom of the menu screen. dont know what to do know. even if i tap on the empty space at the right bottom it comes up to my dashboard.
is there an option to add album artwork in the music library like the n96 and 95...if so where is it?

Before I upgrade S60, "refresh" option could be found at
Go to Music ( from main menu ) then go to Music Library( not Music Store ) so the screen displays Artists, Albums etc. Press Options and Refresh Library is second option.
After upgrading, "refresh" disappeared.
I have those old items too, but "Refresh library" is slotted between "Show open apps." and "Go to Music store". Strange how yours isn't showing...
I guess this issue caused by the new SW update(v 11.0.045).

I have taken thousands of Pureview photos from past two months, only to realize that it became extreamly difficult to search a photo. View 2 Replies View RelatedThere used to be an option whereby you could print photos via usb cable to a printer. This option has been removed - was there a reason for this, or is it a bug? It would be great if the developers could issue a small update that would address this problem. My phone (N8) has a fantastic camera and not being able to print photos from it is very disappointing. I know there is a workaround by transferrring photos to a computer first and then printing from there, but that is a hassle and shouldn't be necessary.

I was browsing the options under the settings and tried selecting 'feedback to nokia'. A prompt came up (can't remember the exact wording) saying there was a problem with two buttons. One button was to uninstall and the other was to take you to the store entry for this item. The text of the prompt suggested going to the store and trying to install again. If that failed it indicated to select uninstall and then reinstall the 'app' (really a setting option). If I picked the store button the only option I had was to share this app. So I went back to settings and selected the uninstall button. But now I can't find the 'feedback to nokia' when searching the store. So I was wondering how I can reinstall this item under settings.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOk so here is the deal, I'm using up-to-date(v. 20.0.080) nokia 5530 and today while I was using TuneWiki my WLAN got disconnected. So I tried to reconnect and found my wifi option completely gone. Now I can't even try to connect to WLAN, as if wifi option was disabled or erased. I already tried restarting the phone, resetting phone to original settings, removing battery for a while. I don't know what to do, so if someone dealt with similar problem please help or at least advice me what should I do next.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Blackberry Bold 9900 running software version 7.1.0.523.When I get phone calls from certain private numbers, if I make an outgoing phone call the number on my display will switch to "private number" and not be logged in the call log. The only way to fix this is when a non-private number phone call is received or to take out the sim and put it back in again.I have replaced SIM, wiped and reloaded OS, but still experiencing the same issues.

If I try to reset the outgoing email settings, everything is fine and the test appears successful. But when I try to send email I find that I receive message 'Connection error'. I am currently set to send emails without signing on, the port number is 25 and the SMTP server is [URL] I have tried signing in and changing the smtp address to others suggested on other sites, i.e [URL], but setup is never completed.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an Xperia Z3 Dual phone. I have a coorporation SIM inserted in SIM1 and a mobile net SIM for 4G connection in SIM2. That means SIM2 can't even handle phone calls, only mobile internet.
But since there isn't any options to choose default SIM for outgoing calls (ie. similar like mobile internet has already), a message pops up every time I would start a call, to choose SIM. That is really annoying considering only SIM1 can handle phone calls.
(But that would be kind the same if I'd like to use coorporation SIM for outgoing calls and use private SIM only for receiving calls...)
