What options should there be under display settings on the 5130Xpress? I have wallpaper/ standby font colour/ navigation key icons/ notification details/ transition effects/ font size/ operator logo/ cell info display.
Should there be options for screen saver/ backlight display/ power options etc? If not, how do I control things like screen saver/ backlight display because I can not find options anywhere?
I have purchated a Nokia 5130 but i have this problem.When the phone is standby (without use for a little time) the screen appears black and dont show the clock, message alerts, etc. When i press the main key (at center) before the phone show me the unblock option i see for a second the block icon, clock and message alert, what i need to do to see this info at all time.

On the Advanced Mailbox settings, there is no Incoming mailbox or Outgoing mailbox settings option. I've searched high and low but can't find anything that will let me have access to the Outgoing mailbox.
View 4 Replies View RelatedOk so here is the deal, I'm using up-to-date(v. 20.0.080) nokia 5530 and today while I was using TuneWiki my WLAN got disconnected. So I tried to reconnect and found my wifi option completely gone. Now I can't even try to connect to WLAN, as if wifi option was disabled or erased. I already tried restarting the phone, resetting phone to original settings, removing battery for a while. I don't know what to do, so if someone dealt with similar problem please help or at least advice me what should I do next.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI just bought a 5130 and I think to haveproperly sett it for the WAP connection, since my provider offers free connections to me.The problem - for a newby like me - that I'm not able to surf by WAP. Infact in my options menu I can't see a "WAP connection menu" to start from.The one way to surf the Net I found is by the "Internet menu". From that menu I can surf fine, but it's not free (as I learnt after my credit went down): I think that it makes me surf by "web connection", that is not *free* for me!
More informations:
I first created manually a "point of access" (as someone adviced to me) with the WAP-data of my provider; but I couldn't find the fields to fill with the home page, the DNS etc.;there I found the way to receive a SMS from mi provider that should have set automatically my phone; but after received it, nothing has changed.
My music player and FM radio are not working; when I try to open any media file the screen goes blank and a pop-up says "not enough memory", however, when I use the music keys, media works though without displaying either the music player or fm radio.I'm not using any of the phone memory, and have more than 400 MB free memory on the memory card.What should I do?

View 12 Replies View RelatedI'd like to keep a record in my PC of all the data in the call log (missed calls, received calls and dialled numbers). As far as I know PC Suite doesn't back up these data. So far I have been doing the task manually, but it is a very tedious and time consuming task. Is there a way to transfer the data in the call log directly to the PC?
Also, I have observed that the list of calls stored in the phone is limited to 20 numbers per list (20 for missed, 20 for received and 20 for dialled) and 5 calls per number. These limits are very low for me. One of my friends calls me 3-4 times a day on average, so I would almost need to make a daily backup if I was to keep all the data. Is there a way to increase these limits?
My Nokia model is 5130, but I think that it doesn't make a difference regarding this query.
I'm this close to returning this phone. I keep on connecting the phone to the PC and get this: "Nokia 5130 XpressMusic USB Phone Parent". This service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. This is what I did (in this sequence).
1) installed ovi
2) installed PC Suite
3) uninstalled ovi
4) uninstalled Connectivity Driver
5) installed another version of Connectivity Driver (downloaded separately, and was an older version)
6) uninstalled every trace of ALL Nokia drivers and software
My phone is detected and works fine in multimedia and printing and USB storage device modes. It's just the PC suite mode that's giving me a headache. And also, I restarted my PC after every step that is mentioned above. The driver is 5130c-2.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a Nokia 5130 from a TMobile store, and since I have started using it, I noticed that whenever I activate keyguard and wait for a little bit, the phone screen turns blank and would not show anything at all (I am used to S40 and S60 phones showing a bar with the time and date, the number of unread messages and missed calls showing everytime they are on standby). However, I also noticed that whenever I unlock the keypad and the backlight shows back up, the bar is actually there before it fades away and returns back to the home screen. Could it be that the screen is actually turning itself off whenever it's on keyguard standby?

View 14 Replies View RelatedI recently had my iPhone (4, 16GB, GSM from AT&T) unlocked (by AT&T, and saw confirmation in iTunes). I am now using a prepaid carrier, and needed to change my APN settings for there system, however the APN settings are not available in the phone (Settings >> General >> Network), the only option I have is Cellular Data (on/off). I wound up using unlockit to load an APN profile for my carrier, home come if the phone is unlocked we cannot change the APN settings (something we need to do in order to use data on ohter carriers)? AT&T unlocked the iPhone for me but all the settings still point to AT&T unless I use alternative means.
I did not know if I was mising something or if this feature is not enabling properly on unlocked devices, or what was happening, I was hoping maybe some other people have figured out how to make this option show, or if they have not maybe Apple or AT&T need to see that the Ulocked devices are not able to change data settigns from AT&T settings, I am not sure what is happening, but I would like to fix it (hopefully, or at least make it noted that it is a problem).
I have tried Reloading iOS from iTunes (recovery) and that pops up the Message "Congratulations, your iPhone has been unlocked" in iTunes, but I do not see the APN settings, I do not want to Jailbreak the iPone and I should not have to since I have it unlocked, I just want to be able to change the settings to allow other carrier data plans.
