When i open the Tutorial application in my E72 from Menu-->Help link i see the images for a particular topic but no text is displayed. I can only see the blank boxes and nothing else...i am running the latest version on my E72 device

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen ever i send a reply text message to somebody who has text me already and i go about it by going into my inbox and selecting the message, my phone freezes for ages, and then i have to press the text message that i have received that i want to reply to and wait AGES for it to load up. Then when i finally have typed a reply, the screen goes back to the inbox (as its supposed to i think) and then freezes again and i have to wait ages again for it load its self back up
Also, if i receive multi message at one, the only way i can read them is to access the a message and then open it and click the arrows at the top to navigate to the next message in line.Also, if i need to access a message further down the list, thats off the screen, i cant just scroll down, i have to click on a message and use the navigation arrows at the top to get into that text, otherwise when i scroll down the screen goes black and freezes.
I find myself pressing the red button alot to take me back to the home screen to start again.It just seems a long way round of accessing things.Its fine if i go to new message and send it through that way, it just seems very long winded!Does anyone else have a similar problem? Could it be something to do with the amount of texts in my inbox (currently at 3304, 2 sent, 2 drafts and 25 in my folders?
I have a huge problem with my N79, its only about 3 months above a year old. Its been acting up for the last 24 hours. When the phone's on, and i try using the keypad to either to type out a text or to move around the menu, the phone hangs / keypad doesnt work. I dont know whether its the phone hanging or the keypad problem because the screen goes dark, and i cant revive it, but its still on, and i have to restart the phone, but the same thing keeps happening. I tried hard reseting my phone, that didnt work either.

I have tried going in the app and then clicking "close" in the menu, the end call key and nothing seems to work. Some applications have the word "exit" on their menus and that seems to do the trick for some and but not all.

View 7 Replies View Relateddidnt see it here so i though i would post it, you can make video calls over 3g no problems and they works almost as good as wifi. well that didnt take long at all. only 24 hours since the jailbreakme.com release for the iphone 4 and facetime is now enabled to work via 3g. let me tell you i was very skeptical about the performance over 3g because i know how voip runs on 3g but was astonished about the results. only time i could really tell the difference between wifi and 3g was when i was running with the phone. it works great over 3g! at least during our tests. when we ran speed test we were showing 1500 down 500 up and it still ran fine.
we originally tried using 3g unrestrictor and that didn't work out too well. we also tried voipover3g and also didn't work with facetime. so we kept an eye on the tweets and this afternoon an app appeared in the rockapp store called, my3g. this app is 3.99 but you can try it free for 10 days. well worth the money if you ask me. hopefully this company is not like the losers from mywi. anyways, my3g works with facetime !! just remember a 5 minute call uses about 15mb thats 3mb a minute if you want to use it out of wifi. but if you have the 6gb data plan like all us canadians then you can finally put it to use. so, how do we get facetime working over 3g. pretty simple follow our guide below.
1. jailbreak your iphone if you haven't yet goto the chart and jailbreak (5 minutes)
2. start cydia, let it updated ,then search for rockapp and install it.
3. start rockapp, let it update, search for my3g and install the 10 day trail one, pretty simple, you will get a my3g icon on the screen, facetime is enabled by default so go make your calls. Internet is also activated so you get nice crisp videos instead of the garbage sent to mobile phones. source : facetime over 3g

The option of "Auto more" in General settings is turned ON. What is the fix to this issue? It never used to happen, then all of a sudden it's there.

The sms text dial pad appears in all the menu pages if the menu button (given at the bottom right corner of the phone) gets pressed a little longer. This happens during incoming call also and the dial pad wont disappear even if the back button or any other button gets pressed. Till this pad disappears, I am not able to pick an incoming call.
