Nokia :: 5800 - Ovi Store / Unable To Start Operation Installer Is In Use Already

I have a nokia 5800 Nav. Edition. Here is step by step issues I am facing with the phone:
1. Whenever I go to OVI Store it gives me a message saying that an Update is available and I need to install it before going forward. So when I click on Update button it takes me to several screens and finally Outpus saying that "Unable to start the operation. Installer is in use already."
2. In order to solve this issue I went through some of the discussion and found out that in order to get this problem addressed i need to follow the steps to Open the file manager and remove the Memory Card followed by Removing the Card physically.
3. This is when I realized that for some reason my memory card is stuck inside, so when I press it the dock seems to be releasing it but it refuses to come out completely.
4. Despite removing the memory card and undocking it I am still not able to apply the update to Ovi Store but this time the error message is different. Here are the steps:
a. I go to file manager and remove the memory card.
b. I undock it physically.
c. I start the Ovi Store and click on Update.
d. It goes through several screens as above and finally asks for Installation (this did not happen when Mem card was in).
e. It starts the installer but then aborts it saying "Update Error".

When attempting to uninstall a couple of applications from my 5800 I get the following message "Unable to start operation. Installer already in use".I've tried turning the phone off then turning it on again, but still get the same message.

Recently i had a problem with nokia music store. Last time when go into the music store will lead to store selector then i need to click nokia music store Singapore then just will load to the list of music and log in link.But now I only can load till store selector then when I click for Singapore it will prompt me error message :
" music store: unable to perform operation".I bought this phone around half a year so don't think that my free 1yr membership is expire and I called to to nokia care center and this operator ask me to use other way to log in music store like use e.g.. GPRS ( GPRS very expensive, normally I'm using Wifi to load in music store) she not solving my prob ..anyone can help me .. ? do i really need to bring down to nokia care center which is quite far for me >.< Can i reinstall music store?

on my Nokia 5800 I always get the message 'Unable to perform Bluetooth Operation' when trying to turn on Bluetooth. I I already tried several proposed solution, without succes unfortunately.
* Remove battery
* Hard reset
* Soft reset
* hit it on the side as proposed somewhere in the forum.
I raised a request through Nokia support a week ago. They promised to contact me withing the 48 hours, but I have't heard anything from them.I have fw: 30.0.011. Altough Nokia site says there is a newer version I cannot update my phone yet (tried via Nokia update on PC and on mobile itself)

I cant seem to install anything on my 5800XpressMusic for a sudden, it keep saying "Unable to perfom the operation, another operation is in progress" when I try to install any application, I dont have any other progress in use, why does it keep saying that when I dont!?I do have the latest software installed.

After i have upgraded to V40. there has been problem with music store usage. Frequently it displays "Unable to perform operation". I have to restart it and sometimes it works fine i think it has become too moody after my update.. jokes apart, i really need some fix since i have a hell lot of free music left for download. any thoughts on it? also can i use the OVI maps for navigation without getting connected to Internet? i was just curious to know about it may be its a noob question but i wanted to clarify and was not sure to create a new post with it.

I just got my Nokia N8 today (US version). When I clicked on the Ovi icon, it opens up the browser and just shows "Welcome to Ovi Store". There are no links to download the Ovi Store installer, and I'm stuck here. Tried to go to store.ovi.mobi and ovi.com but can't find anything that will let me get the installer!

I recently my micro memory card (512mb supplied with phone t-mobile,2 yrs ago) seems to have gremlins! When I try to move pics, video clips from images, video clips to memory card it now always says operation failed! I have loads of memory left on card, no password set. I am reluctant to format card as I have lots of clips and pics, thinking of buying new card? But do u guys think its phone problem or faulty memory card?

Ever since I have updated my e7 to the new symbian O.S I haven't been able to download anything from the OVI store. I keep getting "operation timeout". I restarted my phone and disconnected/ reconnected WLAN yet I keep getting the same error.

It turns that a new version of foursquare is available - running on Qt and requiring Nokia's "smart" installer to install it. However, when the installer gets to "Installing 2 of 6" it fails and gives the message "Installation Failed" followed by "To continue this installation later, select this icon in your application menu".
I have Googled and Googled and haven't managed to find a solution that doesn't require me to install a modified version of Symbian. Nothing else, including uninstalling and reinstalling the installer has worked.

E52 Software 033.002 dated 2010-02-10 (custom version 033.022.237.03 dated 2010-03-11)Connecting via WLAN I have no problems accessing the Internet or fetching POP email or using Skype, etc., however, I do have a problem using Google or Live Search via the "Search" function available from the Standby screen.
Entering Search to do a web-search via Google (or Live Search), after connecting to WLAN, I get this error: Search: Unable to perform operation.What's up? Compared to my E51, my 1st impression is that my new E52 is a bit erratic. Thanks for any tips on how to solve the search problem/issue (which works fine on my E51).

I've not been here for long time.Okay, I've a problem with my N97 web browser. When I try to log on to my school email acc, the N97 shows the error above.....but when I refresh(reload content), then it shows the content. My n95 doesn't do that(same settings, same operator, same wifi)....so why?
I've done both hard and soft reset just in case, but none helped.I'm dumbfounded! I try to acces my school email via opera mini Which i installed on my n97, but it works fine....no error...! huh!

When I try to enable bluetooth on my 5530 XP phone (in Menu > Settings and Connectivity > Bluetooth), I get the error message "Unable to perform Bluetooth operation". Anyone else experienced this? I entered *#2820# and the phone says: "Buetooth device address c8979fd7f684". I think this means that the hardware is still ok and the aforementioned problem is probably due to some software issue, is that right?The phone is currently on firmware 20.0.080 and I am unable to update it to the current version (see another forum topic for that). The phone was purchased in central asia.Any help would be greatly appreciated. With the free Ovi Maps, I'd really like to pair my phone with a gps mouse and take full advantage of that. But without bluetooth, no chance

Is any one else having the same problem with Ovi? I can't sign in to Ovi Store via any app, Facebook or just the store. I haven't done anything new to my phone (E7) but since last night I haven't been able to access any Ovi based sites.
I am not intending to do anything to my phone to try and fix this problem until I've left it for a while for Ovi to fix the problem themselves, as I suspect that it's something that's happened their end. To back up my theory it would be good to know if others are suffering in the same way?

I just started using Internet Radio this week. Tonight I was picking a station on my favorites list and hit cancel while it was loading, since then no stations will load, they have quick timeout errors. I tried unistalling Internet Radio and reinstalling but this does not work. It seems something is hung up or frozen somewhere. If I click on genres same thing, nothing loads, but if I "Go to Station" and type in the web address it plays, but I dont have the thousand of lists of radion stations to view anymore.

I'm trying to install motocast to connect my motoactv. Gets to about 98% of installing MotoHelper and USB drivers and gives an error: "This driver installer does not recognize your operating system. The installer will now exit" Running Windows 8 Consumer preview. Tried multiple compatibility modes no luck. Is this just not compatible?

When I lunch my nokia store the screen be dark and nokiastoreclient is works in background.But store contents cannot be loaded. I tried to uninstall ovi store but I can't do it and the "removing canceled" message appears however in this case online installation is impossible.

My 5800 wont start with the memory card inside the phone. When the card is in the phone it just hangs with a white screen displaying the word NOKIA. When the card is removed the phone can be powered on and off without any issues.

I have a Nokia 5800XM and ovi store will not load on the latest firmware. I have tried reinstalling the firmware a couple of times and i have also factory reset the phone a couple of times as well.I have found that if i am logged in to ovi store it just displays the ovi slash screen and just sits there without doing anything. however i am not logged into ovi it comes up with a script initialization failure error and closes. I have also tried removing all ovi store software and reinstall the software on a fresh firmware with factory default settings. this didn't work either. My phone details are as follows
software version : 40.0.0005
custom version 40.0.0005.c03.01
type RM-356
Please help me resolve these issues.

i've had my 5800 XM about a month now and the ovi store app has never worked. I have installed the latest phone fw and even re downloaded the app from my nokia a few times now but it still will not work. When i launch the ovi store app, all that happens is the ovi store screen comes up but nothing else happens.

I've had my 5800 for a few months now and love the phone. I downloaded a lot of music onto it when I first bought it and it has been working fine. I have recently moved house and no longer have the internet at home (and cant use it at work as we cant install things like that), and I know I should be able to download the music directly from the phone. I've tried to do this and get as far as the 'My Downloads' section showing the new track I am trying to download, but that's it the phone doesn't seem to store it.
I've tried different memory cards so I know that isn't the problem. I've tried formatting one of the meory cards and retrying it but it still doesn't work. I've tried going into the Applications then into the Memory Card (also tried the Phone itself) to see if it had maybe stored the track under something like images, but it isn't anywhere. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm not planning on getting the internet at home so I really need to be able to do this via the phone itself.
