The internet browser doesnt work anymore. I tab or a bookmark or the internet and theres not even page that opens, I get a white or black screen and then It goes directly to the menu again.I reformated the phone it but still doesn't work.
View 12 RepliesWhen I updated my 5530 XpressMusic phone to V20.0.080 it began to shut down when I pick up the phone. It even shuts down when I dial a number and the other side picks up.The only possible way using my 5530 as phone is by enabling the loudspeaker.Are there any updates fixing that problem? Does anyone else have the same problem?
View 6 Replies View RelatedThe 5530 is a nice little phone with nearly everything. Only disappoint is that when im browsing the internet, it would randomly shut the browser.Also i have 4GB memory card and lets say its 3GB full, and the phone lags. I've updated it to the latest firmware also.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have had my nokia 5530 for over 5 and half months but then recently yesterday in the morning when i woke up my phone was ringing so when i answered it just switched off itself. It wasn't even getting switched on. So i charged it and after 1 minute it did switch on so i thought it was a battery problem but when i tried to call it switched off again. Now tomorrow I will go to Nokia Care but the problem is that my father had got the phone for me from Spain in September the time when it wasn't even launched here. So do guys think will they repair it for free or will i get charged for it?please reply.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI just bought a 5530 & mostly it works as intended.But I am having a problem trying to connect to a lot of websites, using wi-fi, not mobile phone network.I am on my home wi-fi connection, playing alongside my PC, which allows me to compare simultaneously.My usual method of finding sites for the first time is to Google the name, then click on the best link, then bookmark for later. (This is my normal PC approach.)
Mostly that works, but I find with the Nokia that many sites do not connect.
One example is "travelodge.com"
If I Google that, I see a first hit with green address "www.travelodge.com/PHONE SYMBOL."
Clicking on that link gets me nowhere, except a time-out message.
I tried entering the address "http://www.travelodge.com/" directly, but get the same result.
The next hit down on the Google page is "travelodge.co.uk" with a green address "www.travelodge.co.uk/"
Clicking on that link gets me right to that site OK, like many other sites.Other sites which similarly will not connect are "super8.com" & "ramada.com".
It sems that when the Google hit shows a PHONE SYMBOL in the address then I can't get there, whether I try via Google or directly.
Hope someone can help me on subject problem. My 5530XM suddenly cannot load web pages nor web feeds for some reason. WLAN connection is active and I'm able to browse the web using Opera but the default browser just cant open any web page.

View 21 Replies View Relatedthis browser is said to be good at Internet videos on the symbian phones. well i got my hands on it.... and was disappointed! yes, the actual Internet looks great, but it lags very much. it's like, i have to wait for about 30 seconds for the video to pause after i press the pause button. it seems the video area is almost non responsive and the video itself lags.is this normal or am i missing something?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a nokia 5530 xpress music mobile - (Christmas present) and was wondering when any new firmware is going to be released; The native browser just closes on its own (sometimes active sometimes inactive) The phone is a little slow loading up and menus (know this may be down to apps etc and memory card) The shortcut icons disappear sometimes from the homescreen (causing a reset to rectify) and when I change them the shortcut on the far right changes itself back to facebook The phone sometimes gets stuck on a white screen at startup which can only be solved by removing the memory card and starting up then reinserting There are a few more minor things but they don't really matter but I have noticed the touchscreen can be quite unresponsive needing quite firm touches or repetitive touches (yes I know some things require double touch) I was also wondering why my phone keeps disconnecting from the wifi source (I have a standard home router) - I know some routes 'refresh' themselves however I don't have problems with my computers or laptops (yes I know its different hardware) Done get me wrong its a good phone, with great features and I am not complaining however I just expected less obvious faults not ones that can cause disruption in normal day-to-day use URL...
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a 9700 bold & updated it to os 6 recently.I have never had any problems before but since updating it, when I am browsing different sites I will get a message saying 'closing this page because its too large', and then the page just shuts down.Its seriously annoying me as I had no problems ever before the update and I have had blackberry's for nearly 3 years without issues.Also I recently had a new router installed by an IT company and my wifi will not work with it at all, although it says I have full signal.I have tried everything - the usual reboot etc - the IT guy said he spoke to someone from BB and they said it was something to do with the bb blocking the router security wise.

In fisrt 2 days it was ok, but now i see a BIG lag when multitasking(when i turn some music the menus LAG as hell) and a small lag when singletasking (kinetic scrolling). The phone has 2 installed games and skype, i dont think its because overload.

Great phone, but there's a problem with Nokia Messaging (or Nokia Email, I don't know - see screen below).I've already set it up with her Gmail account, but when she tries to check her emails, instead of this nice screen, it takes shows the phone's Messaging folder, where there's no HTML for emails (and, I think, no push mail support).Besides, both the "Email" and the "Email setup" icons lead to the same place (setting up a new account). In my 5800, it shows the screen above, which has a much better interface.

I've restarted it and done all that stuff to wipe it and stuff.. but its still not working, but my old sony phone works perfect for receiving texts so it cant be the network =/, any ideas?Sorry, ive rather wrote this out really quickly because im annoyed because this is the second time this phone has screwed up on me. No matter what I try,I can only see a maximum of 7 contacts (plus the "add" icon). I have avatar images for all my contacts. All my contacts are saved to phone memory only, not to SIM card. Am I missing something in the way I'm setting up my contacts, or do I have a phone issue?
