I have a nokia 5530 xpressmusic phone, and im not receiving any texts. I only receive texts if im sending one or i restart my phone. Any ideas how to fix this? I've restarted it and done all that stuff to wipe it and stuff.. but its still not working, but my old sony phone works perfect for receiving texts so it cant be the network =/, any ideas?Sorry, ive rather wrote this out really quickly because im annoyed because this is the second time this phone has screwed up on me. And i really cant be bothered with the hole getting a new one and stuff!
As title, my son's 5530 has stopped recieving or sending texts. Outgoing texts sit in the outbox.I've rest the phone, upgraded to latest software, checked the message centre number, the sim card sends and recieves ok in another phone
I have strange problem with nokia 5530.Its just switches off when making/recieving a call.I read nokia discussion of Europe and USA. there are number users who have same problems i have it now.I've gone to nokia care and hope they can give me a perfect solutions.As i have read all the posts about this problem , I am bit worried whether my mobile will be repaired or not.
My friend tried to call me a couple of time today, but every time I hit the answer button the phone turned itself. I wasn't able to call her either,On the screen where the connectivity shows, it shows me the sign for connectivity and an E.I couldn't find anything in the manual or online.
I just recharged my phone after the battery being completely dead. Now when someone calls or texts my I don't receive either (I tested with my moms phone). When I call it just says their is no service at this number. I know I have service because I can send texts to other people and call other people. My phone is a Nokia C3 also.
I have recently purchased a Nokia X3, but the problem is that Whenever i recieve a text i only 'get it' 1 hour later.So the phone will ring/vibrate (for the first time) for the text message but when i look at the message the time will be from 1 hour before. So the phone says the message is from 17:48 but i couldn't see the message and the phone doesn't ring/vibrate until 18:48.
my phone has stopped receiving text messages until hours later. If im in the messaging app, i tap on a new text ill reply and it wont show that i replied. I then wont receive messages until hours later when I guess it finally has sent? Also, in my messaging its showing messages from years ago. I dont want my texts to save or to be backed up or restored.
It started randomly. i can still browse the internet but i cant call anyone and i cant sed or recieve text messages.ive tried a factory reset but i still gave the same problem.
Is text messaging. If I try to send an outgoing text at the same time that one is incoming it will not send the outgoing message. It will struggle for about 30 seconds to 1 minute (or even more) and eventually time out with a 'text was not sent' error message. For someone like me who sends thousands of texts a month it's the most annoying thing ever! Other phones do not have this problem.
Also the time stamp for texts does not work if the phone is powered off. For example: I turn my phone off at midnight and someone sends me a text at 1:00 AM. I turn my phone back on at 8AM. The text arrives but does not have the correct time stamp as being sent at 1:00 AM. It will be shown as 8AM. So I have no idea what time the message was actually sent. Once again other phones I have used did not have this problem.
I started to noticed all the people I was texting didn't write back I'm like. I came to realize I'm not receiving my texts but I'm able to send them and the other person received them.
I have an x10 which is a little over a year old. I updated it to 2.1 a few months ago.Lately, I can't recieve texts. I can send them, and people recieve them, but when people text me, I don't get their texts.I have put my sim card into another phone, and have been able to recieve texts perfectly.HOWEVER. I have resolved this issue once, I was reccomended to do a factory reset on my phone. I did it, and I was receiving texts again.But, after a while, I stopped receiving texts.I don't want to have to do a factory reset again and again, since reinstalling all the apps is a pain.
When I send a text it takes ages to be received at the other end -at least a couple of hours but I can't receive any texts!! My kids text me to pick them up from school etc and I really need my texts to work.
The first 6 months with the G3 were fine but lately I'm not receiving like 5% of my texts. The ones im not getting are from various users. I'll get the first 5 texts from them, then I'll miss one. No problem sending. I swapped the SIM and did a few FDR and still haven't cleared the issue.
Since updating my iPhone my battery doesent last a day and I'm not receiving a lot of texts sent by people on iMessenger. Never had this before and not using my phone anymore than normal.
I'm still not receiving texts after various handset resets and checking all my settings, i've recently been on holiday and while there turned off roaming data and when i got back i switched it back on. Still no joy.
When someone txts u and u try to read or answer the SMSbox freezes. Also note this also affects the telephony function. It delays getting up latest calling list and does not allow u to place calls.
My iPhone 4s has stopped receiving texts. It will send them fine, voice calls can be sent and recieved fine. I have tried turning the phone off and restoring via iTunes.
My daughter took her sim card out of her iphone 3gs, but the phone is still receiving text messages. The phone works, but is pretty beat up, and she is now using an older phone she has till she can upgrade.
Befor the problem started i could text and call my friend without a problem, but now when i text him he doesnt get thim (i know its not a delay cause thy never come through) or my phone calls. so i called my carrier and they said the texts and calls have been comeing through there servers and are sent.
iv tryed restoring my phone and all the other things other sites have siad to do, when i start a chat with him it comes up as imessage like normal and i type the message and when i hit send and it siads it sends but the little delivery thing that appers at the bottom never comes up but it. but i cant text everyone els that imessage or just text they all get them so it seems its just him
Its been a whole day not sure whats goin on i didnt acually realize it was happening untill a friend came over.I was sending texts out to family and friends but never getting any back which i though was weird but didn't think much of it maybe everone i sent one to was busy...unlikely.So my buddy came by and said he has been texting me back all day several times and i never awnsered just kept sayin whats up or you gettin my text lol.
I thought trying to update might solve the problem so i went to update my profile and prl and as soon as i hit update profile they all started coming in at once had tons of them. but now they dont come when people send them they all come together 15 or 20 minutes after they have wrote me back whats the deal.
Over the summer my friend visited family out of state and gave them access to her icloud services. I don't know the specifics on what kind of access, but I know her nephew used his ipod to have internet/messaging/emailing capabilities. One day after she returned home, I was out and my phone rang with a facetime request from her. Her contact information popped up on my phone. I answered and it was her nephew. I hung up and then received a text from "her" that said "Who is this."Â Â We figured out who we were and I told her that I was getting messages from him but it was coming up as her in my phone.
We also realized that she thought I had been ignoring her texts, as she was no longer receiving any texts from me. She talked to her family and they said they removed anyone there from her services, however she is still not getting my texts. We both use iPhones. She is getting texts from other people and I get her texts, but she does not receive mine. I have deleted her and re-added her, but still no luck. And when I re-added her, my phone recognized her and all of our old texts popped back in.
I have an iphone 5s and my friend has an iphone 4. Our imessages sometimes work perfectly fine but lately they haven't been getting to me until ten minutes later or even an hour later. With my other friend he has an android and I'll say something then he'll say something but it's like my messages aren't sending so then we have this jumbled up conversation thats confusing. Today ,my friend with the iphone,I didn't get one of his messages until 3 pm when he sent it last night at 11 pm. Is there anything to fix this?
I keep receving texts days later after people are sending them to me. I received a text a week late once. Now it is taking a few days. This has never happened before. What is going on?
earlier today my sister was meant to be picking me up from somewhere and I texted her saying I was early - it sent as an SMS and she was at home when she received it, she replied to me using her iphone. I disn't recieve the text on my phone til I was home and had wifi ( I don't have cellular data), I'm guessing this is because I have an iPad at home and so her text sent as an imessage to my iPad and so I didon't get it on my phone.
I recently switched my line to another family members blackberry bold as my navigator/cursor no longer worked. I have not received calls, nor texts, nor emails for last 30 hours from others and calls go straight to voice mail. I have removed battery and rebooted with no resolution.
I recently replaced my 8900, and I'm not exactly sure what I did wrong. Before I moved all my email accounts over to the new phone, I apparently set up my Gmail account on the phone wrong. At any rate, I keep getting my Gmail messages via SMS message. It's driving me crazy! It shows the sender as "700."
My phone has stopped showing I am receiving texts. It will get them but once I open the convorsattion it only shows the messages I have sent, not the received.
