BB Torch :: It Has Stopped Showing I Am Receiving Texts
May 31, 2012My phone has stopped showing I am receiving texts. It will get them but once I open the convorsattion it only shows the messages I have sent, not the received.

Mar 28, 2012My iPhone 4s has stopped receiving texts. It will send them fine, voice calls can be sent and recieved fine. I have tried turning the phone off and restoring via iTunes.

Jun 2, 2014Suddenly, I am not receiving group texts on my iPhone5. It appears than I can send them, but I don't receive them. I haven't had this problem in the past. The group text that I am not receiving is between 2 people that I have sent and received group texts from before. T-Mobile suggested turning the settings on and off again, they wanted me to delete all my old text threads, which I don't want to do. I'd rather save that as a last resort.

Apr 8, 2012Well, this is my 3rd torch in about 10 months and i turned it on this morining to find that no one was replying to my texts... so i waited a few hours because i presumed that maybe some people were busy, etc... but it wasnt untill my freind sent me an fb message saying she replied to my texts sent earlier today, that i realised that something was wrong... i sent her another text saying to post on my wall what it was what i had sent her, to see if it was mine or her phone, turns out its my phone.... so to double check i sent a message from my other phone to the torch to see if it was just her bold misbehaving, but turns out that my phone didnt get that text either... checked my firewall to see if i had accidentaly set it to texts, i feel like throwing the phone on the floor because its so **bleep**.... after this im never buying a blackberry..

Jul 3, 2012Is text messaging. If I try to send an outgoing text at the same time that one is incoming it will not send the outgoing message. It will struggle for about 30 seconds to 1 minute (or even more) and eventually time out with a 'text was not sent' error message. For someone like me who sends thousands of texts a month it's the most annoying thing ever! Other phones do not have this problem.
Also the time stamp for texts does not work if the phone is powered off. For example: I turn my phone off at midnight and someone sends me a text at 1:00 AM. I turn my phone back on at 8AM. The text arrives but does not have the correct time stamp as being sent at 1:00 AM. It will be shown as 8AM. So I have no idea what time the message was actually sent. Once again other phones I have used did not have this problem.

I have tried to resend the service books but it wont allow me saying "your device had a problem connecting to the server". When i try send a text it says "requested facility not implented". I can send them, and people recieve them, but when people text me, I don't get their texts.I have put my sim card into another phone, and have been able to recieve texts perfectly.HOWEVER. I have resolved this issue once, I was reccomended to do a factory reset on my phone. I did it, and I was receiving texts again.But, after a while, I stopped receiving texts.I don't want to have to do a factory reset again and again, since reinstalling all the apps is a pain.

When I call it just says their is no service at this number. I know I have service because I can send texts to other people and call other people. My phone is a Nokia C3 also.

Oct 20, 2011Its been a whole day not sure whats goin on i didnt acually realize it was happening untill a friend came over.I was sending texts out to family and friends but never getting any back which i though was weird but didn't think much of it maybe everone i sent one to was busy...unlikely.So my buddy came by and said he has been texting me back all day several times and i never awnsered just kept sayin whats up or you gettin my text lol.
I thought trying to update might solve the problem so i went to update my profile and prl and as soon as i hit update profile they all started coming in at once had tons of them. but now they dont come when people send them they all come together 15 or 20 minutes after they have wrote me back whats the deal.
