I Recently Bought New Nokia 5233 And I See The Headphones Are Working But In One Speaker,Sound Cames,2nd one is dead{no sound}
Also I Put Some .mp4 Files,But The Player Gives Error,Which Video Formats Played in Nokia 5233?
I am facing a problem when I capture a picture/video with my new Nokia 5233 phone I bought yesterday.
1. When I try to capture a video, nothing is visible on the phone screen. I click on Record button and the shooting starts and then I click on it again and it stops. But I when it tries save the video it gives an error "Unexpected error occurred. Please restart your phone".
2. I reboot the phone. But I face the same problem. I face the same problem while capturing pictures.
I have tried following as a measure to solve the problem but no success till now:
1. Reboot the phone: tried it more than 20 times. Does not work
2. Soft Restart: Removed the battery for 1 minute and powered the phone back. Does not work
3. Restore Factory Settings: Restored the phone to factory settings. Does not work.
4. I checked my firmware version. Its 12.1.089, RM-625. I think no firmware upgrade is available at present
Please advise what steps should I follow to cure the problem.Please also let me know in case you are facing a similar problem with your device.
I recorded 2 25 second videos on my Tour but instead on hitting stop after I was done recording I hit the escape key. Both videos show up in my video list with the correct duration but neither play. I get a video format unsupported error.I think this method worked fine before so I don't know what gives.Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get em workin?My os is 4.7.157 for sprint

View 9 Replies View Relatedwhen ever i try to play 720p hd videos on my xperia active running ics 4.04 i get the error message "sorry,this video cannot be played"..and after this i wont be able to play any videos till i turn my phone on again..and then for few minutes it plays smoothly and again it stops with that message..but in gb i never faced any such issues with the same videos i think it may be due to phones gallery app..so i opened those videos in MX player but there the video plays in S/W decoder mode and i cant change it to H/W decoder mode because H/W decoder mode isnt available u can see that in the below screen shots.but after restarting everything will be ok ..i formated my memory card but still the same ..only modification i made was that i rooted my phone.screen shot when i opened 720p video in MX player(before restarting)screen shot when i opened the same video in MX player(after restarting)Error message while opening in default gallery app?

MotoCast was not able to playback this file; it might not be in a supported format.
I tried to download several files to test them on the phone's storage, but I am also unable to download any video using MotoCast. I can download pictures and documents. I have tried doing these operations through the Gallery app, as well as just browsing using the directory structure.

But in the gallery the playback of these videos sometimes lags (video stops, audio continues or stops too) and sometimes this ends with a restart of the whole phone (display backlight shuts off, screen freezes, then NOKIA shows up and the phone starts again, without asking for PIN, resulting in the standby screen). Usually if I play the same video again, it does not lag. The video is stored on an SDHC 4GB card, class C4. I have installed the latest firmware.Any suggestions?

View 2 Replies View Relatedi turn on my nokia 5800. i can play all videos on the internet and on my phone at the minute.then whenever i go to the camera i can take one picture but when i press the back button it just shows me a black screen an i cant take photos anymore, also whenever i switch to video mode it also just shows me a black screen.whenever this problem occurs i can no longer watch any videos on my phone or watch any Internet videos as i just get audio and yet again the black screen. ive just tried a soft reset and no luck.only way to fix this until i access the camera again is to turn of my phone and turn it back on but this only fixes the problem until i go on camera.anyone have a solution to this problem or had this problem before?

Took 4 videos, 2 saved to my Sandisk 64gb class 10 card, 2 saved to the phone. Took 720 & 1080 video's all 4 videos are very choppy on playback. They skip most of what is recorded. Phone also duplicates music, photo's & video's like crazy! I have 10+ copies of pictures & songs on my phone, it stops duplicating videos at 3 copies!

Since Belle photos are in one folder and videos in another. If I want to share these by plugging into tv instead of clicking slide show I have to play each video and pict separate. Also is there a setting for how many sec the pic stays before switching to new one. My pictures have like a good 5 to 7 sec before switching to next photo.....seems too long. ultimately I would like to have my videos and pics all in one area so I can play them all at once

Which container/bitrate/frame rate/aspect ratio would give those results? I know the resolution of the phone is 640x360 but any clips at that resolution are unable to play. I'm experimenting with combinations at the minute but it would be a lot quicker if I could just get a definite answer.Official playback specs are 640x360/??/30fps/?? but no mention of ideal bitrate, aspect ratio or container, ie MP4/3gp etc etc.
View 19 Replies View RelatedAfter loading up some MP3s and a widget (a flashlight app) via bluetooth, I turned off my Nokia 5233. Next morning turned it on but it wouldn't go farther than the Nokia logo on white. Removed battery, left a few minutes, same thing. Removed battery, removed 2Gb memory card while phone was off, reinserted battery, turned it on, phone came back to life. Reinserted mem card; it was recognized, all apps (installed on the card) and music/photos were there, everything worked.However, if I turn off the phone and later on again, it's the same, can't boot further than logo screen unless I boot with the mem card out and insert it later. I guess mem card is corrrupted, and yes, checked that there were now 2 icons for that flashlight app. Removed the app via the app manager, there's still one icon left. Trying to remove it via the Organize->Remove command gives a 'File Corrupted' mesage and it can't de deleted; it doesn't run either. Is there a way to remove this 'corrupted' file?So guess there's no option but re-formating mem card, is it? I've backed up all photos but really dread having to re-install all the apps I had on it. Is there a way to check for mem card integrity or fix it without having to clean it off?

As far as I know, these 2 positioning methods do not require any kind of GPS chip in the phone as these positioning methods decides your location by GPRS connection.But, in the manual, it is given that on the left side of the handest (NOKIA 5233), it has GPS chip?
So, what does that mean? Nokia 5233 does have a real GPS?
