I recorded 2 25 second videos on my Tour but instead on hitting stop after I was done recording I hit the escape key. Both videos show up in my video list with the correct duration but neither play. I get a video format unsupported error.I think this method worked fine before so I don't know what gives.Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get em workin?My os is 4.7.157 for sprint

View 12 Replies View RelatedI record video using the camcorder app. I playback video and the audio has a high pitched whine / whistle or sound layered over the background audio. Sometimes the whine gets louder and sometimes lower but its aways there. Its very annoying sounding and seems like either feedback or interference or something. Anyone else experiencing this?I've tried various resolutions and zooming in and out, and lowering the volume all the way prior to entering the app (because you can't get any feedback on volume adjustment once in the app) and nothing i've tried seems to get rid of the sound. I have also tried the 3 "audio scenes" "Everyday" setting seems to be the worst, outdoors the best.

I checked the options and there isn't a "mute" setting - I've changed the audio profile and that doesn't help.I can't figure out why it's recording the video with no sound. The voice recorder works fine so its not the microphone.

First, When I reboot, any app I've placed on a home screen that has been moved to the SD card/media area comes up as the default settings icon (blue gear icon) but appear correctly in the app drawer. Second, When I record video it is pixilated and choppy on play back with parts of the video actually missing. I understand we're all waiting for Gingerbread and bugs may exist but, to me, the video issue is a real problem because it basically means I can't count on video working and therefore have to use another device (go XOOM) for video recording.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to use my BB as music player when on the bike.At the same time, I'm running my GPS and utilize the phone function for incoming calls.Music starts up fine, however, as soon as the playback gets interrupted by any kind of command - GPS turn instructions or incoming phone calls, the playback won't automatically resume. Is there any work around for this?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am having a huge issues with my e-mail/internet and text messaging capabilities with my tour plus the phone constantly shuts off. I am on my 3rd tour (2nd replacement phone). This issue started about 4-6 weeks ago w/my first tour, it was replaced then the second one started randomly shutting off, then I am now on tour #3 and am having major issues:I'm not able to get a signal to receive phone calls, text messages or e-mails and today while I was at work (same spot for the last 6 months -- haven't moved and never had an internet/signal problem before) when I got out of work I had 18 e-mails, 16 text messages, 2 missed calls and my battery was practically drained and dying (which by the way under mobile connections and mobile network if I put it on 1VEX it can never find a signal or is always searching for a signal whereas if I put it as Global it can find a signal).I got this phone because I'm an avid overseas traveler and I need a phone w/me when I leave however this is causing a lot of frustration and annoyance.I've done everything to all devices:hard pull, complete hard drive wipe, updated service books, turned mobile networks on and off, made sure I had the most up-to-date software available NOTHING works.any suggestions?
View 11 Replies View RelatedI just purchased a DROID RAZR. I have installed the desktop client on two different machines. I can view pictures and listen to music but when I try to play any video format I receive the following error:

MotoCast was not able to playback this file; it might not be in a supported format.
I tried to download several files to test them on the phone's storage, but I am also unable to download any video using MotoCast. I can download pictures and documents. I have tried doing these operations through the Gallery app, as well as just browsing using the directory structure.
Last topic for the night I promise Was the OS 5.0 upgrade supposed to remove the sample video? I don't see it anymore. Only reason I ask is because I used to use the video a lot for demonstration purposes. Tried a battery pull reset and its still gone. There a way to get it back? Might someone be willing to upload it somewhere?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm about to lose it completely with this error. I've tried so many "fixes" but none of them work. Here's my problem:
My phone loads up and:
I get an old background I've never used
I cannot make a call
I cannot open my email
I cannot open my text
I cannot open my voicemail
I cannot open my browser
All attempts to do so freeze my phone and result in the unhappy "App Error 523" with the only option to reset.
It gets better...
Battery Pulls do nothing.
All attempts to connect to my PC result in the unhappy error.
All attempts to do a diagnosis result in the unhappy error.
I really have no idea what to do and all technical support from blackberry leads to dead ends and no result.
Pioneer Tour 9630 I cannot get into the phone for any OS Version, I assume it is relatively current as the phone is less than two months old.
A battery pull did not fix the issue
The apps I loaded were google earth, a GPS Navigation system, ESPN, and weather.
All my phone will do is show a white screen with Error 503 Reset. I have tried taking the battery out and that did not work. All it get is a white screen with a little timer in the middle for 3 or 4 minutes.
It will not connect or do anything with the desktop manager. I have tried the launcher to get it connected, but to no avail.
When trying to sync Outlook calendar with blackberry an error message appears: 0x80040fb3.

Between the process of it going down, i was no longer revieving emails on my phone, so I deleted the account in hopes to simply re-add it and be back in business.Now that I deleted it, im not able to re-add it. Go figure. Im putting my account and password in correctly, and usually it would just load onto my phone. Say I were to restore a prior backup when the email was working, will it be all set?What the heck am i missing this time?

I removed the AP News program and on the next reboot, it comes up with the error screen that says Reload Software 552. I didn't back up anything because I didn't even foresee this coming. I'm reading that I have to completely reinstall the OS again, and I've also read that I can go into my Blackberry on my computer and remove the newly installed(and in this case, uninstalled) application. I'm not currently home so I can't try this but I'm wondering if anyone has other solutions. This is super weird because I had a dream I jumped into a pool with my phone last night and it broke.

View 7 Replies View RelatedSince upating the software on my BB Tour 9630, I am often unable to click on links and web buttons in the browser (or during games like the pre-installed Texas Hold Em poker). Often I'll have to click a link/button 2 or 3 times (or I'll need to click "menu" then "open link" while the cursor is on the link). This is NOT problem with the roller ball it's the software and I never experienced this prior to the update. I've read suggestions on other boards to remove the battery for 30 seconds and then re-install it, but that hasn't help.
View 18 Replies View RelatedWell, I've been running 5.0 OS's for months, and I'm not sure exactly when this problem happened, but my video camera stopped recording sound. Speaker phone and the voice notes recorder work fine.
I wiped the phone, formatted the SD card, and went back to the 4.7.1.65 os.I've still got no sound. Is there actually a different mic for the video camera than the speaker phone and the voice notes recorder?I've pulled the files onto my computer to verify that there is absolutely no sound.
I was searching google on the default browser on my new Tour, and can't seem to copy simple text. Is there a way to copy text in the browser? Please, let me know.
