Hey guys, I noticed that video playback in my E72-1 (fw 023.002) is very bad. (Real Player).All the clips I play on the device stutter, choke and the player lags whether I play them from the memory card or the phone memory all the same.Anyone has that same problem?Any help greatly appreciated.
View 5 RepliesI have recorded few videos with the phone (at high quality), all OK. But in the gallery the playback of these videos sometimes lags (video stops, audio continues or stops too) and sometimes this ends with a restart of the whole phone (display backlight shuts off, screen freezes, then NOKIA shows up and the phone starts again, without asking for PIN, resulting in the standby screen). Usually if I play the same video again, it does not lag. The video is stored on an SDHC 4GB card, class C4. I have installed the latest firmware.Any suggestions?

i turn on my nokia 5800. i can play all videos on the internet and on my phone at the minute.then whenever i go to the camera i can take one picture but when i press the back button it just shows me a black screen an i cant take photos anymore, also whenever i switch to video mode it also just shows me a black screen.whenever this problem occurs i can no longer watch any videos on my phone or watch any Internet videos as i just get audio and yet again the black screen. ive just tried a soft reset and no luck.only way to fix this until i access the camera again is to turn of my phone and turn it back on but this only fixes the problem until i go on camera.anyone have a solution to this problem or had this problem before?

View 4 Replies View RelatedHaving fits with my Verizon Nokia 822. Tried to take some videos today & then watch them on the phone. Took 4 videos, 2 saved to my Sandisk 64gb class 10 card, 2 saved to the phone. Took 720 & 1080 video's all 4 videos are very choppy on playback. They skip most of what is recorded. Phone also duplicates music, photo's & video's like crazy! I have 10+ copies of pictures & songs on my phone, it stops duplicating videos at 3 copies!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with continuous playback of video, Before with Anna I couuld go into gallary and my pictures and video were all in same place, in proper order. Since Belle photos are in one folder and videos in another. If I want to share these by plugging into tv instead of clicking slide show I have to play each video and pict separate. Also is there a setting for how many sec the pic stays before switching to new one. My pictures have like a good 5 to 7 sec before switching to next photo.....seems too long. ultimately I would like to have my videos and pics all in one area so I can play them all at once

Which container/bitrate/frame rate/aspect ratio would give those results? I know the resolution of the phone is 640x360 but any clips at that resolution are unable to play. I'm experimenting with combinations at the minute but it would be a lot quicker if I could just get a definite answer.Official playback specs are 640x360/??/30fps/?? but no mention of ideal bitrate, aspect ratio or container, ie MP4/3gp etc etc.

I've been experimenting to find the best video setting for video playback in our E71. So far, the best I've come up with is: 320x240, MP4 video at 15fps/384kbps, AAC audio at 128kbps/44100MHz. I set the audio to such for music videos.

It's like just a small delay that's happening every time I watch a video. Like the volume automatically mutes itself randomly. And I would have to restart whatever media app I'm using and start over from where I left off. This only happens when I use headphones and I have tried several different ones. I usually use the in-ear samsung ones that came with the phone or my sony ones. Both are standard headphones. I don't have any wireless or bluetooth headphones. It never happens on loudspeaker.
It happens with media on my phone, sd card, whether I use WIFI, 4G , 3G or Flight Mode. It also happens when the phone is charging or using the battery.
I have done a soft reset, factory reset, and also removed every 3rd party media player app.
It doesn't happen when I play games or when I listen to music on the Music App.
Phone Model: SM G901F Apps affected: MX Player, VLC Player, Soundcloud, Youtube, Video Player.
This has been annoying me for the past several weeks, I've had a Galaxy Ace, Ace 2 and Mini 2, and never had this problem before. My brother has an S5 Mini, and we have the same 32GB sd model, and he has no problems with his phone. So it's not the memory card. I watch a lot of movies and stream a lot of tv shows, when I'm home and when I commute.
i have a lg vu which i need to replace which i like for video playback when files are in the memory card, not so much with Internet which usually looks bad.
overall, i was happy with the vu and all the hacks that allowed it to look like a htc, or iphone or pretty much anything.it is not acting up so i need to replace it and the impressions is catching my attention.
is the video quality good...compared to an iphone for example, where does it stand in video quality playback?
