I haven't had my BlackBerry all that long and have always had a bit of trouble transferring data (except pictures). This time, the connection wiped all the outlook stuff from my device, coming up with the error: 0x80040fb3.
My blackberry isn't working. When I switch it on there's a white screen with a small window in the centre with a circle, square and triangle in the middle. its got a circle around the whole window with a diagonal line through. Kinda like a no entry sign if you get me.

I have a 8820 which was my office BB but I got a new official bb so the company let me have the 8820 but will not provide any support for it. How do I remove the IT policy from my 8820 to be able to use it as my personal bb? I read in another forum that you need OS 4.3 or greater to remove the IT policy. The OS on my 8820 is v4.2.2169 (Platform 18.104.22.168). Also read that you need desktop manager and some other stuff to backup and perform some other tasks, then install OS 4.3 and then remove the policy. Since this is now my personal bb I don't have any software or CD for it except the instrument itself. I am guessing I need to install some software on my pc, backup to be able to remove IT policy.
Where can I get the software for what I have to install it on a PC. This might also be a dumb question but what is the connection with a pc and a blackberry to install/ backup etc?If there is some intro doc that explains this it would be great.
I have recorded few videos with the phone (at high quality), all OK. But in the gallery the playback of these videos sometimes lags (video stops, audio continues or stops too) and sometimes this ends with a restart of the whole phone (display backlight shuts off, screen freezes, then NOKIA shows up and the phone starts again, without asking for PIN, resulting in the standby screen). Usually if I play the same video again, it does not lag. The video is stored on an SDHC 4GB card, class C4. I have installed the latest firmware.Any suggestions?
Hey guys, I noticed that video playback in my E72-1 (fw 023.002) is very bad. (Real Player). All the clips I play on the device stutter, choke and the player lags whether I play them from the memory card or the phone memory all the same.Anyone has that same problem?Any help greatly appreciated.
I recently bought an xperia ray and was taking videos holding the phone upright (portrait mode) but when i play it back from the gallery i have to turn the phone upside down but straight up to watch it in full screen! is that normal?should i download a video player app to rewatch my recorded videos? I didnt change any of the settings before recording so i dont understand how this happened! and is video support only for landscape mode. and i checked and my latest update 4.0.2.A.0.42 but before I update I wanted to know if this is the one that will get rid of the cool retro shut down animation (i'm on 2.3.3 still) ? if yes, is it worth the update? I read the update also adds the swipe keyboard and panorama settings and other camera settings. but I also have touchpal keyboard for swipe. so is it worth updating? and I'm in australia but imported my xperia ray from the uk so will that affect my update?
I was using the Note 4 watching HD videos with players such as VLC and MX Player, those episodes I watch are MKV format and they played smoothly on the Note 4, I figured since the 950 XL has better specs that it would play them smoothly too but it doesn't!!!, I updated the phone's firmware and still HD video playback lags and stutter, how come this is happening....
I have a 4S (the phone has only 2 weeks, factory unlocked, IOS 5.1) and if I record a video with the phone's camera I get an annoying noise when I playback the video. Please take look at the video to hear that noise. [URL]. I don't know what is the cause of this.. maybe a software problem. (You need to record a video in a quiet room and then play that video)?
I've been experimenting to find the best video setting for video playback in our E71. So far, the best I've come up with is: 320x240, MP4 video at 15fps/384kbps, AAC audio at 128kbps/44100MHz. I set the audio to such for music videos.
I have an HTC One M8 and I cannot seem to figure out a way to "lock" the screen so that the touchscreen buttons are disabled during video playback. My previous phone was a Samsung and you just had to press the power button to ensure that any accidental screen touches wouldn't interfere with the video.
My Xperia Z3 has been absolutely perfect, however it recently has started having issues with video playback stuttering every few minutes. It's like just a small delay that's happening every time I watch a video. It happens regardless of the app, whether YouTube, video unlimited, Google play movies etc. It is not buffering and I've tried different networks and I'm confident that it is not a connection issue. I did a full factory reset and have around 25 go of internal storage free and still experiencing it.
I don't normally do a lot of videos from my phone due to the poor quality, but given that the 6P records in 4K I wanted to try it. I recorded my son's Christmas Musical. Once home I tried playing back via wifi to my TV. I got audio and nothing more. So I thought it was just a connection problem. I then tried on my computer.
Starting last week I noticed when I watch a video that my controls are gone when I have playback. I found out that the phone locks the controls away so I have to press the power button to unlock but my question is how do I turn off the lock all together. It's really starting to annoy me. And save the why don't you install a 3rd party comments.
