I have bought Nokia 5230 on 10-Jan-2010, but I am not able to send SMS from my phone, I check the settings of message center (Airtel) and it is fine, but still I am not able to send the SMS. I throws "Unable to send message to <<contact namd>>.

I buy E52 two days ago and i have a lot questions; at the first:
I have big problem with sending emails because i can't. I have personel mail account with my hosting and i retrieve all messages from my inbox but i can't send a mail.
I tried gmail account and it's works fine..
I configured my account with pop and imap (my mail server supports both). Both configuration retrieve mails but didn't sent! Always same error "Unable to send message: Name Surname <email@account.com>"
By the way I'm from Turkey and in the Turkey smtp 25 port is closed, we're using #587 port and i configured at the email account installation.
I had bought nokia 5230 recently. I have a problem in setting ring tone and message tone.When i trying to set ringing tone or message alert tone in the Profiles(General) it showing an error message as "Not enough memory to show all ringing tones. only tones in read only memory will be displayed". But my phone memory has 50.1 MB free space and My memory card has 1.2 GB memory space.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI currently have a NE63 - 3 phone and is currently loving it however two days ago i started getting a sending failed error message everytime I attempt to send text messages and when I click on the details it would say not enough memory please close other applications.I have enough load credits to perform such activity,and i do not have any other applications running in the background,plus the phone memory is nowhere near full capacity.I have already checked the message center number and I currently have the correct settings,I have already peformed a reset but to no avail.I am able to receive text messages,able to make and receive calls,wi - fi access is okay,the only thing I cant do is send text messages.I know there are other e63 users out there who might have experienced the same thing.

This is only happening when I'm texting someone using iMessage - it'll say that they sent their message as a text message, but then a few minutes later I'll get their exact same message again, but this time as an iMessage - it's happened with multiple people - it says I'm still in iMessage "mode" but they're in text message mode and then i'll often receive the same message again - this has only started happening recently, and it doesn't happen every time but it happens often and I'm not sure why- has this happened to anyone else?

Quick question I have a nokia N95 phone but it wont let me send messages it puts them in the outbox, says a resend time then says failed and comes up with un able to send... When I press details it says "General: memory full. Close some applications and try again".... I have no applications
open and have pressed and held the menu button to check and defiantly don't. I have turned it off And on, re installed message settings, deleted stuff, even reinstalled factory settings and its still not working id much appreciate some help. It did the same thing on Tuesday but was fine when I woke up Wednesday morning. It did it again 10pm Wednesday night and is still the same and its Friday xx I have posted this message on facebook and got told to ask here. I don't know if there is already a topic on this, but I really want to sort this problem out. I have always had Ionians and they have usually been very reliable...

First the alert tone stopped.than the pop new text message stopped and than the little envelope that appears in the right hand corner stopped.Basically I'd be going to my inbox every 5 mins to see if i had any new messages. I called Nokia support and after trying everything else, we ended up reseting the whole phone.That worked...for about 3 days.Than the problem came back.So i called again,tried everything again and nothing. They sent me a new phone and its been doing fine up until yesterday.

I just got this phone unlocked and as soon it arrived I tried to add a contact on the bbm or try to sent a message pin to pin message, but I`m unable to do that. When I try to sent this type of message, it`s saying that the service is blocked. I tried to reinstall the bbm and others things, besides to get help at my carrier.

I get an error message saying invalid number and to resend using a valid 10 digit number. iMessage works fine. It's only when I try to text someone not using an iPhone.

when i recieve a text message it keeps stating the time i recieved it is 9:57 pm no matter when i recieved it. Also, the messages i send and recieve do not come one after another, instead, the texts i send immediately go to the top and the ones i recieve go to the bottom.

I have had my nokia 5230 for about a week now and everytime I would receive a message it would pop up on the home screen that I had received a message and it would tell the name and number. I used to be able to change the sending account and after a few more attempts it would go but now nothing will from any account. The message will mention either my email address of the address I'm sending to and say its being rejected by the server. Anyone know how to fix this?
