I am trying to download and install a java app for a Nokia 3120 classic, but when installing I get an error message telling me that the file is too big at 5.7mb.I can't find the maximum size of .jar files for this phone anywhere.Can anyone let me know what this is and whether there is any way to get the app to work.

I have made a wallpaper that is 5400x1920 and is 1.16mb. I made it that wide so that when scrolling I get a different image for each of the 5 screens that I use. Whats happening is the image shows and scrolls across like it is supposed to but it "flashes" between the image and a black screen.
Recently I've bought curve 9300 - so far it looks to be the best phoned I had so far.But yesterday I finally decided to install desktop software and check some other functions of the phone. And that's when I found a problem. I haven't installed ny media card, but there's some free space showing on the built memory.I've wanted to upload a couple of multimedia files ( .mp3 - using "file" button, I'm not using Itunes, Windows media etc).I got an info that maximum allowed file size has been exceeded (I'm not sure it's excat phrase as I had to translate it from Polish). What's wrong? I'm pretty darn sure that file I wanted to upload is smaller than free space (mp3 of around 5MB).

View 4 Replies View RelatedOk, I'm new but not entirely stupid (so I've been told). My 3120 Classic tells me, courtesy of the OVI store, that apps do apply to the phone. Yet, when attempting download after sending the link to the mobile phone, I get the same error message - - ovi does not work with the current model. I updated the Nokia software for my phone/model, still nothing.I'm really interested in Adobe Acrobat as an app if that is indeed possible. I did do a search for "3120" and "Adobe" before launching this post.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI was recently personalizing my Nokia 3120 classic and was trying to see what I preferred regarding the display (essentially the home screen). When I pressed the 'up' navigation button and then 'options' to changes what was displayed, I set all parts of the display to empty (when I first bought it, it was populated with a line of application/function icons - left to right in the top-most row, the date and time in the second row and 'notes' in the third row).
Now I can't get anything back, and none of the Menu functions allow me to make any changes to this part of the display. Restoring factory settings does not restore this either. There is no intuitive way for this to work on the 'home' screen as the options function doesn't exist any more (emptying the rows has removed the function altogether).
My 3120 Classic freezes every time i try to change the ringtone, i cant go into the menu tones. If i try it then it will freeze the only way to get of the freeze is to press the end call button. I have tried to reset it and that did not work.

I hit the email setup button, chose the right access point provided by the mobile company and after I enter the email and password the message "maximum number connections in use. Close an active connection first" appears. Here I only have two options OK or CANCEL. Hitting CANCEL it just gets out of what I was doing. Hitting OK it only gives me the acces point which I am using without any other option so I have to close it. Could anyone help me with this problem please?

I just deleted my contacts on my phone and got Mail for Exchange to work...it brought only 512 contacts across from my server. I hope that the others are not now marked as deleted on my phone and will be removed from the server on the next sync.

Looking at how much it takes to crash it when attaching pics, it seems to be about 500k bytes, which is TINY. My E51 could email 10MB, in or out.

I want to save a number of the messages I have on my phone and so do not want to empty the folders completely but now have a very slow phone as message count is c. 6000!I was using the old Nokia PC Suite (7.2 I think) but this froze when trying to access the large number of messages so upgraded to tthe OVI Suite.Any ideas other than delete text by text on the phone?I have acheived a full download to OVI and have deleted the conversations I no longer want in OVI but they are still on my phone!!!

View 8 Replies View RelatedOn my laptop screen (1280x800) OVI suite always starts up the same size which is too big for the screen even though I resized it the last time before exiting.Width wise it is OK filling almost the whole screen but the hight is too big with most of the icon of my connected 5230 phone at the botton being under the task bar. And since the sync button is lower than that I have to manually resize every time.Why does it not remember the resizes window and always start up the size and place I want like most other software.
