View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I put my memorycard in a MicroSDadaptor and put that in my PC (XP or Win7) I can't see anything. No maps no files. Not with my 4GB card that came with the phone (E-72) or with the 16GB card that I bought later. When I put a memorycard from a Windows phone (HTC) in the adaptor all maps and files on the card are visible. Is this because an other format? Got my E-72 for 6 weeks now and no major problems. No hanging phone, no space bar problems and email works fine.

I hit the email setup button, chose the right access point provided by the mobile company and after I enter the email and password the message "maximum number connections in use. Close an active connection first" appears. Here I only have two options OK or CANCEL. Hitting CANCEL it just gets out of what I was doing. Hitting OK it only gives me the acces point which I am using without any other option so I have to close it. Could anyone help me with this problem please?

I just deleted my contacts on my phone and got Mail for Exchange to work...it brought only 512 contacts across from my server. I hope that the others are not now marked as deleted on my phone and will be removed from the server on the next sync.

Looking at how much it takes to crash it when attaching pics, it seems to be about 500k bytes, which is TINY. My E51 could email 10MB, in or out.
I haven't yet tested it with say a 10MB PDF, but is this documented anywhere?

I have a Curve 8520 and the volume is stuck on maximum. I have tried many of the obvious things:
Media-Options but audio boost is off and I don't see any other option that would help. The volume keys on the side of the phone do not work anymore for some reason. I even cut the material with a scalpel to see if pressing the actual sensor would allow me to reduce volume. Needless to say it didn't.
I have tried using the keyboard on the phone and the volume control key (also a $ sign) but it didn't help either.
I've had the G4 for a couple of months now. Today was the first time I used it outdoors. The weather was completely cloudy with some fog. When I was taking pictures of my car, I could't really see anything. I unchecked auto and turned brightness to maximum. It was slightly better, but still not good. All I could see was the outline of the car. I then pulled out my Samsung Note 5 and it had no problems showing me a bright image of my car while taking pictures.Is there some way to increase the brightness on the G4 beyond the maximum?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a BB 9700 Bold. I was testing the data transfer speed of it using an app called "NetWorkSpeed" from the app store. No matter how fast my network connection was, it seemed like the Bold was capped at an average maximum speed of around 250 kbps, both uploads or downloads. This is using either a 3G connection, or my home Wi-Fi. My home Wi-Fi should be able to do 6000 kbps downloads, and 800 kbps uploads; but the Bold never got anywhere near those. Now this is a speed test only done to the device, not to a tethered computer or anything like that. A tethered computer seems to be able to transfer faster through the Bold than the Bold can transfer to itself. Is this a real limitation with the Bold, or is something else going on here?
BTW, I tethered my PC to my Bold, using the Bold as its modem, and I was able to get 1.9 Mbps/330 kbps with it. Not as fast as my home Wi-Fi, but respectable. But much, much faster than the Blackberry can transfer to itself.

I have made a wallpaper that is 5400x1920 and is 1.16mb. I made it that wide so that when scrolling I get a different image for each of the 5 screens that I use. Whats happening is the image shows and scrolls across like it is supposed to but it "flashes" between the image and a black screen.
Recently I've noticed I'll be in the middle of the call with the in call volume on max (which is very much needed on this phone...I don't have hearing problems ). Then every now and then the volume drops to 1/3 of maximum and I have to hold the volume up to bring it back to max.
(I've only seen references to ringing volume changing erratically, not in call volume) . My phone is rooted, but with stock ROM.
