Sometimes when scrolling Pulse News Reader, things like emails, etc. the screen seems to freeze. I have to use multiple fingers or put device to sleep and awaken to continue scrolling with a single finger.

I keep sliding my finger across the unlock bar but it doesn't work. Whereas the double-click music player works fine. Has my phone locked itself? It was fine an hour ago.

Today after having my beloved Samsung Galaxy 6 for over a month, the finger print scanner didn't recognize my finger print. I don't have a back up password (or if i do i don't remember it) so I just typed in something so i could sign in with my google account. I typed in my correct email and password but its saying my password is invalid. I know its not invalid because I just used it on my computer. So now i really stuck..what do i do? Do i just wait and go into a mobile store?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got the 3.2 upgrade for my 3G Xoom a week or so ago; I understood that when the upgrade came, it would work with SD cards just like the WiFI-only Xoom upgrade. Today I stuck a SanDisk micro SD into the slot, and I got an option in "Settings" to mount the SD, but it won't mount. Neither will computer (Vista OS) recognize an SD, nor will it create a Xoom Media section in computer file explorer when Xoom is connected by USB as the Motorola help site describes; all I get is the original Xoom folder that I had pre-3.2.

If I connect my Xoom to my PC and transfer files, as soon as I reach 4GB utilized storage on the SD card, all files gets disappeared, and moved into the LOST.DIR (renamed).If I unmount the card, put it into my PC, and copy files to it, as soon as I mount this SD in my Xoom all files that were copied to the SD after it reached 4GB in utilized storage, they just get deleted (nothing in the LOST.DIR). Even if I will mark these files as Read-Only they still get deleted.

If I set up mobile hotspot on Xoom, I can connect other devices via WiFi to Xoom, which leads me to believe hardware is ok.

i tryed playin a video i filmed before 3.1 update and now it wont play....i also tryed taking a picture and i cant see the preview on the screen....but when i press the shooter it takes the picture...but the screen is black completly.

View 9 Replies View RelatedUp till now I had been playing with a non US 3.1 Xoom. I would stick video content (mainly avi files encoded as divx) in the Movies folder. Selecting the Movie folder from Gallery would show all the content but the only program that would play them was Rockplayer which I had installed.
I know have a US Xoom with 3.2 firmware. With the same type of content in the Movies folder together with a MP4 file encoded with Handbrake to specs that the Xoom can play, Gallery only shows me that MP4 file. The other files just don't show up at all. The only way I can play them is to use ES Filemanager to browse that folder and click the filename to play it or use Rockplayer's explorer interface.
was using smooth calendar with 3.0. Switched to the default calendar widget after 3.1 arrived to allow resizing of widgets. widget syncs the calendars okay but the date at the top of the widget never changes, stays on the install date. calendar app works fine, widget is static.stock, non rooted 3.1

The Slidleshow Crop and Set Piciture as functions work ok, but the EDIT photo is not working. ge the Edit function working.
When I uprgraded my Xoom wi-fi to ICS, Amazon Prime videos became totally unviewable. I almost gave up ever being able to use the Xoom for viewing streaming videos again. Then I read, on this forum, that Adobe had upgraded Flash and that now the videos should be okay. I have since watched bout 4 or 5 videos and they were very smooth without a single hiccup or sign of dropped frames. However, I tried to watch "Explorers" and it is totally unviewable with jerky sound and blocky video. I tried restarting it several times with no change. Then I picked a different video, also on Amazon Prime, and it worked fine.

View 15 Replies View Relatedis going to have a new function where the screen doesn't react when you hold the device in one hand with a thumb resting on the screen yet allows you to continue to control screen normally with other fingers.I have 57 year old hands that get numb from holding items and this would be wonderful for us semi handicapped folks to see this comes out with all ICS releases, even the original Xoom.
