I have had my bookmarks syncing successfully since I found out that I could do it. Today, all of my bookmarks on my FE disappeared, and the browser refuses to sync to my Google account. I've logged into Chrome and all of my bookmarks are intact. Also, running stock 3.1 not rooted, no tomfoolery has been had with this device.
View 5 RepliesNoticed yesterday that my bookmarks on the Xoom were not syncing any longer. When I looked in Settings/Accounts & Sync, the Chrome portion showed a white life-raft indicator & when I click on it to initiate a sync it always ends with an error - red exclamation point at the bottom of this screen. I do have quite a lot of bookmarks so I wondered if maybe that was the issue so I tried deleting all on the tablet and syncing with a different account that has no bookmarks. Same sync error occurs. Have also tried a FC and 'delete data' for the Browser app from Settings/Applications (multiple times) but it still won't sync with either account.
Just wondering if this is something just happening to me or if there's perhaps an outage at Google that's affecting others' Browser syncing. Anyone have any other suggestions for getting this working again other than doing a factory reset? That's probably the next thing I will try, once I make a list of all my 3rd party applications so I can re-install them later. Incidentally the Xoom is a US WiFi model, non-rooted, with the OTA 3.2 update in place. As far as I know this problem only started a few days ago, well after the 3.2 update.
For some reason Chrome on my N6P does not show my desktop bookmarks. Actually, it only shows just the bookmarks on this phone.
- desktop is signed on
- settings->accounts->google->chrome is set to sync
- did a force close and also rebooted
How to see bookmarks on my other signed in Chrome devices?
Is the website working for others? My recent workout page just shows me a generic description of how motoactv works and says that I've haven't uploaded any data yet...

I don't have my bookmarks synced with Chrome. I'm just trying to delete some dupes that I have in the list. It must be so simple that no one else has had this problem because I can't find anything on the web or even this forum.
Just holding down on the widget just pops up arrows to resize. I can't find anything in the settings of the browser to do it. But I did it before and have no idea what i did.
Google released their Chrome app for android. This app is in beta form and is limited to only ICS devices, sorry Verizon Xooms! Ive used it for about two hours and it is smooth and syncs flawlessly with Chrome. It has great features like gesture tab switching. Im going to play around with it some more and report back anything new or worrisome. Please share any tips or tricks for the community.

When I open on my computer the bookmarks are in the document. When I open on my Xoom the bookmarks are gone or I don't know how to access them. I have used Acrobat Reader, ezPDF, OfficeSuite, and Quickoffice but none show the saved bookmarks.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a BB Tour with Bell Canada, and recently, our company recently updated our BES server.Ever since the switch, I no longer can sync my BIS server emails.So on my BB, I have my company's BES email(lotus notes), and that syncs up fine...if I delete an email from my BB, it'll delete on my desktop, and vice versa.But for my BIS emails(hotmail), when I delete from my BB, it will not delete the email from my hotmail account...or when I delete from my hotmail account, it'll not delete on my BB.
View 4 Replies View RelatedEvery evening I turn off my iPhone 4 to let it charge. In the morning when I turn it on I always heard the notification chimes of incoming texts, voicemails, and emails. Now I just get incoming texts and voicemail. I don't receive incoming emails from Hotmail until I go into my mailbox. It asks me if I want to connect to a wifi signal. I say cancel. It searches and then it brings up my new emails.

Have got 2 broadband dongles (Vodafone and 3) and used both SIMs in the XOOM and they worked fine (after the obligatory reboot). However they no longer work and try as I might i can't get them to work.
If it helps when there is no SIM in the tablet I don't get the No SIM present on the home page screen.
I have tried everything even a factory reset but nothing. don't make me buy an iPad - i couldn't stand it!
Other symptons are that the battery life seems to be much shorter now but this could be an illusion.
PDF and DOC attachments are no longer opening on my xoom (wi-fi only). It used to ask what program I wanted to use to open the attachment. Now the screen goes slightly gray and the attachment does not open in any program.

Have checked all the settings, it is still set to sync.. I have went in and stopped the calendar app and restarted, still not syncing.. I have tried everything short of a soft Xoom reboot..Have shut down and rebooted both, still won't sync.. The loss of this function is not acceptable..

Facebook recently made some changes to its application and it won't show up any longer on the Honeycomb market. If you have it on there already it should work.
But I suggest you given FriendMe a try. It's a very nice Facebook app that takes advantage of some Honeycomb capabilites. I use it over the regular Facebook app (mine still works) despite a few bugs.
Verizon Xoom 3.2 Watching a movie that I transferred to the Xoom from my computer like I've been doing for months now (even after the 3.2 update). Paused it to take care of some things. Come back in about 20 minutes and the Xoom is locked up. Had to do a volume up/power button to restart it.After restarting, movies won't play. Neither will video taken with the Xoom. When I go into Gallery and touch a video, the screen sort of dims but nothing else happens. Normally when I select a movie, I get a choice of stock player or RockPlayer.If I open RockPlayer from my Apps, I can play the movie.I did an additional power down/power up but still video will not work.

Also, the serial number selection is not clear since 3G users seem to use the MEID, but I've been asked for my Wifi MAC address before. This time I tried to simply enter my "serial number" as stated in the Xoom status screen. But I can't get past #1 issue above, it is trying to require me to enter a Moto phone as well.

I used a usb cord to copy my Word ducuments to tablet, but the sd card in tablet does not show anything. I did a factory reset and called tech support but nothing works.
